Secrets Wild Orchid Montego Bay

Exellent week at Secrets Wild Orchid. Enjoyed the great drinks served at all the bars. The food, coffee and service at al the different restaurants was amazing. To top off the week were the very polite and helpful staff, always greeting us with a smile. On arrival the front desk staff said "welcome home" and once we were settled in our rooms, we did feel very much at home!!

This resort was in such a perfect spot—only about 20 minutes from the airport, which made getting there super easy. The beaches were Absolutely stunning; calm, clean, and relatively shallow to hang out in with tons of space so it never felt crowded. The rooms were nice—not super modern, but definitely comfortable (the bed was great). the vibe was good—you could join in the fun when you wanted, but it was also peaceful and relaxing if you just wanted to chill.

Beautiful clear beach and service stand out at this property. Staff are attentive and friendly. Service was excellent.

I am here as I type this and it’s been an awful experience for me and my aunt. The service has been extremely slow. I am talking two hours for room service, 45 minutes for drinks on the beach, 30 minutes for bar drinks, and even worse at the sit down restaurants. My aunt ordered fish at the sit down restaurant and we had to leave because it got too late for her. I am writing this awful review because we had a terrible experience at the gift shop and I have complained to Hyatt yesterday but they yet to get back to me. I’m upset I paid to stay here. The lady spoke so poorly to my (84 year old) aunt, when I said something about it, she started talking over me. I needed tampons and they were $30.00. The ladies who booked the excursions made me feel like I was annoying them. Other than that, the staff have been pleasant. spa was nice but ridiculously expensive. We got massages, which were amazing, and facials, which were okay, and spent almost $1000.00. The entertainment is just meh. Mostly drinking and dancing. I’m over this place, I can’t wait to go home.

We recently visited Secrets Wild Orchard, Jamaica, where we celebrated my husband's milestone 60th birthday. This resort truly exceeded every expectation. We have stayed here before, so we already knew what this resort would provide all of our guests (23 in total), an amazing experience. Secrets did not disappoint! What made our celebration absolutely perfect were our two private butlers, Devon and Adia, who were nothing short of amazing. They didn't just take care of us – they went above and beyond to ensure all 23 of our guests felt like VIPs throughout our entire stay. The small details mean a great deal, and Devon exemplified this perfectly. From the very first day we arrived, he proactively made reservations for our large group of 25 people without us even asking. He also ensured that pool seats were set up for us, allowing our group to sit together throughout the week. Devon was incredibly attentive and ensured we had everything we needed. We dined without issue and were always able to sit together as a group. A special highlight was the Private Birthday Party Celebration organized by Simone, the Event Planning Manager. Simone was incredible – she walked us through all the different food options we could choose from and was so accommodating in allowing us to make modifications to our menu. I can be indecisive, but she was extremely patient with me. When I expressed concerns about potential rain with a beachside dinner, she thoughtfully showed me several venue options, helping us choose the ideal space. Thank Goodness she did, because it poured rain the evening of the dinner. The Private Birthday Party Celebration was absolutely amazing, and we pulled it off without any incidents! We also enjoyed private tours off the resort, and everything was coordinated seamlessly. The resort itself is extremely clean, and the people are amazingly friendly. The food was great at all the restaurants, but my favorite was the Jamaican restaurant. This was my second time visiting Secrets Wild Orchard, and I would always go back. If you're planning a celebration or just want to be treated like royalty, this is the place to go. We can't wait to return!
