Reviews for Couples Swept Away
We had a wonderful time at couples swept away. It rained quite a bit while there, but only for a couple of hours. Still had plenty of sunshine. The resort is lovely, clean, and staff are very friendly. Our room was always clean and well stocked. We wanted for nothing. Our favorite restaurant, for reservations, was feathers. They also have a Thai restaurant...not our personal type of food. The buffet and patois is also tasty. The pizza at patois is really good and fish tacos at sea grapes are a must. I suggest when ordering drinks at any of the bars to up your liquor quality...i found the well liquor HORRIBLE...and from a suggestion from our cabby we tried a Bob Marley shot....ummm if you like the taste of Nyquil mixed with gasoline...tbis is a shot for you...its terrible!! You have been warned lol The beach is awesome and safe. After 8 days of constantly being asked about buying "smoke" j ewlery ..and such, I was sick of being approached. Wish the resort had "do not disturb" signs to place by chairs Everyone seems to have a hand out for tips And that also got old. We tipped a lot for great service, but the constant expectation got irritating. The parasail guy was pretty bad about wanting a tip after we had paid $120 to go for 15 min. Which was really fun! We had one day trip off the resort with a pro ate cab. Had fun, but really didnt feel safe off the resort, unless with a group. We ventured out to the blue hole...the drive reminded me of the movies deliverance and romancing the stone It was really neat once you got there. We snorkled, scuba, and did the booze cruise...siggest all them. Their is do much to do at this resort. Didn't miss leaving to see other stuff. Hope this helps:)

Literally swept us away! Very enjoyable and relaxing! We will most definitely be back! Staff was very pleasant. Food, rooms and beach were absolutely amazing! Definitely a place to go to just get away!
This was our first time to Jamaica, an all inclusive resort and a Couples property. My husband and I really enjoyed our vacation. Traveling always stinks and it was a long day getting there, but worth the trip. Everyone who greeted us at the resort was very friendly and helpful. I'm really glad I read all of the TripAdvisor reviews and tips prior to our trip. The resort is a little overwhelming at first and the rooms definitely have a distinct smell - not bad, just different. Once we settled in, we loved everything about it! We can't wait to go back again!

The property is beautiful with seperate buildings and jungle privacy between each. The rooms were immaculate and great attention to detail. Food was fantastic and beach was perfect. If you like privacy and the beach this place is for you.
First I must say this is our 6th time staying in Negril. This resort was our dream vacation . When we arrived we were told to leave a credit card at the front desk so we could make purchases on the resort, well we know how that works you go to check out and you have charges on there you didn't even use,so we said no and they gave everyone their room right away who gave them a credit card. Not happy ! And it rained every day and flooded the side walks so getting to the restarants dressed up was not Fun! And every vacation we have ever taken has been a all inclusive . How do you call this resort a all inclusive if you are limited to 1 soda a day in your fridg. No Bottled Water! Entertainment was terrible . We felt like we were in a retirement home ! 10:00 pm and everything is closed. As far as the people at the front desk well they need to put a smile on their face and at least try to make there guests happy. Food was not good & my husband has been sick since we got home. He's going to the doctor today. I Would Not recommend staying here . The beach is really what your paying for.It is beautiful but we've been on that beach so many times that we thought this resort was going to be great. The rooms all need updating and the 2 pools are very small. Not Happy The owner of Couples son was getting married there the week we came in and all the workers seemed to be more worried about taking care of the family then taking care of their paying guests. We will never go back there!!!!!!!!
