Reviews for Couples Swept Away
All I can start off with is “wow” This was our 1st time in couples swept away and we are rebooking to return in March. This was by far the most beautiful, most relaxing, most romantic vacation we have ever taken. Amazing “welcome” started off in the airport, couples has their own airport lounge, shuttle bus approx 1 hr to resort. You are greeted at the hotel with a cold towel, a drink and a “welcome home” The hotel is clean, and very well organized. We stayed in the “atrium” suite - beautiful tropical gardens, with a hammock overlooking tropical trees and plants on a spacious outdoor patio (felt like an exotic upscale tree house). Absolutely beautiful, secluded and romantic. I loved the wood shutters in our room, and the decor. The food, absolutely amazing, good, healthy, and fresh. They cater to vegetarians and gluten free guest as well with an amazing menu. The cooks here do not get enough credit (they are behind the scenes.) They are FABULOUS!!! The food is tops! The beach: Crystal clear waters, no big waves, calm, tranquil and the resort has foam pool/ water floats all over the beach and it is the best idea ever. It Can be used as a cushion for chaise lounge or you can float with a drink in the ocean. My husband enjoyed the resorts “guest tennis” instructor : “Shaw” he was so good, nice guy, he worked with my husband on many moves and gave him great lessons. The gym is so clean, up to date machines (in fact better machines than my own gym here in NY). Great wellness bar, fresh fruit drinks. The spa.... wow the spa !!! Truly and honestly the best massage I ever had in my life!!! All the resort offers is beyond amazing, The catamaran, glass bottom boat ride, the water sports, the windsurfing lessons, jewelry lessons, piano bat karaoke, water skiing, and so much more.... My only regret was I wish we stayed longer, we only were there for 5nights and 6days. Now we “get it” and see why so many people return over and over to couples swept away. This resort and it’s experience is truly beyond 5+stars! Can’t wait to return in March :-) we truly were “swept away”.

My husband and I loved this place! The rooms were nice as we were right off the beach! There were so many excursions it was hard to pick just one! It was an awesome vacation and almost had no time for the beach since we were so busy! But loved every minute of it, and the drinks were awesome too!

All inclusive is hard to do well. This place does it well. Food had everything from easy access drinks on the beach to fine dining at night. Scuba diving, snorkeling, wake boarding, or just lounging on the water on one of their floats. I can’t speak more highly of an all inclusive resort.

What a beautiful beach and ocean. The resort provides rafts for all guests and the ocean is beautiful, clear water. Absolutely amazing to float in. The rooms are on the small side. House keeping did a great job. You pick what you want in your fridge. You hang a place card out at night. I wasn’t crazy about that because I would forget. I also tried to get two diet cokes on several occasions to no avail. We were there during the anniversary party and it was very nice. Food was delicious. Overall Pros. Ocean Beach Floats Very relaxing Great service Cons Lack of room service and needing some reservations for certain dinners.

My husband and I just returned (9/30 -10/7) from our 4th trip to CSA. We are as in love with the resort as the first time we went. The room was well appointed and comfortable. A/C worked good, TV had sufficient stations, towels were restocked, etc.. The only issue was spotty wifi, but that seemed to happen every evening with other guests were probably also logging on while getting ready for dinner. We ate at every restaurant except for Seagrapes. The quality of food and available options were great this trip. Our favorite for breakfast was The Palms because we liked the variety of options and the fresh fruit is an added bonus. Our top spots for lunch were Patois and Palms. Patois would be our favorite if the menu changed more often. They seem to have the same menu for 3-4 days in a row. We didn't have a favorite for dinner as we had good meals at all of the dinner restaurants. If you are a Repeater, do not miss the Repeater's dinner held on Monday night. This meal was by far our favorite of the week. The Beach is amazing! We enjoyed lounging on the chairs and taking our rafts into the ocean. The beach flag service was very good this year. We never had a problem getting clean towels. The sports complex across the street is definitely under-utilized. We played tennis, racquetball and basketball and also swam in the lap pool. There were very few people over there. The 3 times we used the pool we were the only ones in it. We also watched some NFL football and played ping pong at the sports complex. Only issues we had the whole week: - Be careful at check in that all of your promised resort credits are in your packet. This is the 2nd trip in a row that they were not in there. It is not a good way to start your vacation. - Some of the water ports gentlemen were less than helpful this time around. This was disappointing as in years past it has been one of our favorite parts of the trip. All in all a great trip. Can't wait to return October 2019.
