Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit

For a first time experience at an all inclusive resort, The Grand Velas is breathtakingly beautiful, the amenities are 100% offering several cuisines. The food, service, cleanliness is outstanding. Highly recommend this property. We are here the third week of October, the resort is not busy at this time ahead of the vacationers expected the first week of November. No crowds, plenty of seating all over the resort.

What a pleasant surprise!! A beautiful facility, exceptional staff & phenomenal food! Whatever you may want or need this resort has to offer! I do have to give some special kudos to - our room concierge Mario Chavez! Thank you for your constant attentiveness, it was truly appreciated! Also to Jose Cantinero the Pool Bartender, his friendliness and smile was contagious! If you have the opportunity and are traveling to the Puerto Vallarta area this is a NO MISS resort, for couples and if you are traveling with extended family as I saw many families with young children having a very enjoyable time!!

Best all inclusive resort I’ve ever been to. Incredible service and attention to detail. Loved my restorative massage with Shanti so much I went back for more. Service at the pool was smooth and fast everyday and not too crowded. Restaurant staff were knowledgeable and friendly and the food presentation was excellent. Our concierge Perla was so attentive and checked in with us daily to update reservations and whatever events were going on in the hotel for adults and kids. Overall 5 stars and worth every penny. We will be back!

I’m deeply disappointed with this property. It’s far from the brand’s standards. We would have given a lower rating if it weren’t for the exceptional wait staff and the attentive pool concierge. I had repeatedly informed my concierge about my severe nut allergies, specifically almonds. Despite my specific instructions, he brought up a cake for my birthday, which contained almonds. He even asked if I had any allergies, and I confirmed them. The AC was out in multiple areas, including the KOI bar and teen club. It’s simple to install a unit in these areas. I’ll continue to visit Riviera Maya and Cabo San Lucas, but this will be my last time at this property. I’m genuinely saddened by the experience I had here because the resort itself is first-class, and Nuevo Vallarta is one of my favorite areas. The resort should promptly inform guests about any damage or issues with the property. The problems started nearly three weeks ago, and we were never informed. Additionally, I witnessed a concerning incident in the kids’ club. A staff member was on their phone while a child had someone else’s shoe in their mouth. The kids’ club needs to be more engaging and responsible. I can no longer recommend this property.

Loved every part. The staff is top notch. Miriam was amazing! She was friendly and provided the best service at every moment. We will be back.
