We've been to several all-inclusive resorts, and this stands out high above the rest. The food and service were amazing. The room was nice with a conversion couch for our son. Our stay was extended due to recent events, and they did a wonderful job of making everyone feel comfortable, informed. amd safe Piaf had fantastic meals and service. Everything was perfectly cooked with great seasoning. Alberto, Allan, Gilberto and Francisco made each meal there a memorable experience. As good as Piaf is, Lucca was our favorite. The food was amazing but the waitstaff made it fun as well. Carlos, Roberto, Celso and Marvyn were great. Julio and Kevyn really stood out as they were so welcoming and interacted with us to make each meal a standalone memory. Everything I tried at Sen Lin was great. Uzel and especially Ramiro stood out there. It was evident Ramiro liked working at that restaurant and the food they made. The buffet was the best I've ever been to. They didn't have as many options as some of the larger resorts, but the overall taste and quality was so good. Georgina was pleasant every morning and impressively had our room number memorized after one day. Ricardo and Emiliano were great and quickly memorized our drink orders, so they were already getting them as we were sitting down. We spent most of our time at the beach so there was little issue finding a good spot to sit. The beach was clean with no seaweed or other vegetation and there no rocks in the water. We had a great time jumping in the waves and watching people boogie boarding. This was easily the best beach area we've been at. The pool area was clean and well taken care of. Manuel and Francisco were very attentive. They also did a great job of watching for people who leave items on a chair for hours without ever showing up so others could use those spots. There were only a few days when we had to look for some seating but there wasn't a bad spot. We went to the local market one day and came back to the busiest the pool had been. Without us saying anything, Gustavo asked if he could help us find a spot and ended up grabbing some extra chairs and made a place for us. He was very friendly and attentive the entire stay. Eduardo and Emmanuel at the pool/beach concierge were our favorites. They were extremely friendly and helpful. They spent their day talking to everyone and making sure their needs were met. We enjoyed having conversations with them and learning some Spanish. The evening events were fun and Imelda took great care of us. Our son was a bit old for kid's club, but he looked forward to going to teen's club each day. Javier really made his stay memorable. Each day he'd come back and tell us all the games the two of them played together from ping pong to air hockey and pool. The only somewhat negative was the activities. Some of the activities weren't where they were listed as being and at times just didn't seem to take place. That being said, they did have some fun activities and the staff, such as Brandon, were very friendly. My wife enjoyed the water aerobics, and they didn't have loud music pumping throughout the day. I'd suggest going to the local market if you're looking to buy things or go to the shack by the resort where the vendors worked out of. They walked the beach but were friendly and not aggressive at all. There are locals that hang out on the beach, but they were courteous and not a problem at all. This is easily the best resort we've been to and one of, if not the, best vacations we've been on. We look forward to going back again soon.

We recently came back from our fourth visit to the Grand Velas and each time it does more to impress us. We arrived for a week the day before the unrest in PV. The entire staff worked tirelessly throughout our stay to make sure we and all of the other guests felt safe and well cared for. They really did not miss a beat. This was especially meaningful as we knew many of them and their families live in and around PV. The food, once again, was consistently excellent and the amenities are always top notch. But it is the staff that makes the Grand Velas such a gem. Whether it was Jesus and Fabiola when we booked, Cheppe, checking in on us daily, Gustavo finding us pool chairs, Zenon and Leonel, making sure we were never hungry or thirsty at the pool, or Maria keeping our suite immaculate, each of them treated us with the warmth and hospitality that we have come to expect at the Grand Velas. We can’t wait until our next visit!

We are currently staying at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit in Puerto Vallarta and felt it was important to share our experience for other families who may be wondering about safety when travelling here. From the moment we landed, everything has felt calm, organized, and welcoming. There have been absolutely no signs of unrest, and we have felt very safe throughout our trip. What has stood out the most is the incredible staff at Grand Velas. They have truly gone above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, especially while travelling with our child. Every interaction has been warm, helpful, and attentive, and it’s clear the staff genuinely care about their guests. In a world that can sometimes feel uncertain, it has been such a relief to come somewhere where we can relax and feel completely safe as a family. If you’re considering travelling to Puerto Vallarta with kids and are feeling hesitant, our experience at Grand Velas has been overwhelmingly positive. We are very grateful to the wonderful staff who have made this trip so special for our family.

We love it here! We have been enjoying Grand Velas for 3 years Best service the food is spectacular. We enjoy the views in the oceanfront rooms. Rooms are laid out perfectly and the balcony is awesome place to sit and look at the ocean or read a book. The cabanas down on the beach are very comfortable. Can’t wait to go back and have Luis take care of us again!

We stayed at the Grand Velas in Nayarit for 6 days for my Birthday and had a fantastic time. The hotel is perfectly located right in of the beach. The breakfast buffet was a highlight—so many fresh, delicious options. There are multiple dinner spots that you can book that are extremely amazing. My favorite is the Asian and French. All inclusive resort makes life a lot easier. Special thanks to the housekeeping team for keeping our room immaculate from the Morning and Until we came back for the Night Highly recommend. Our sweet was beautiful with an upstairs jacuzzi which was beautiful private, and relaxing for me and my partner. This is my 3rd time at the Grand Velas in Nayarit and I will continue to go. A HUGE special thank you to Luis for making my birthday trip spectacular. Luis checked up on me periodically to make sure I was ok, and if he could make any appointments or dinner reservations for my stay. Staff was very considerate throughout my stay. This resort made me feel very safe. I would recommend this place to everyone. 10/10 and I will continue to come back. Thank you!!!! 🙏🏼

I stayed at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit for two nights and only have wonderful things to say about the property. The staff is absolutely fantastic -- always friendly, well-trained, quick, and ready to help with anything. Everyone gets a "personal concierge" who was a real time-saver for dinner reservations, spa appointments, and general questions. The spa is clean and the treatments I had (massage, facial, and hydrotherapy circuit) were wonderful, but the hydrotherapy pool area is showing its age just a bit. Because this is the oldest Grand Velas property, I was expecting it to feel a bit run down, but it did not show its age at all. The gym is especially modern.
My suite was "resort view" but I could clearly see the ocean beyond the pool without having to crane my neck or unpack the binoculars. It is most definitely a family-friendly resort, but the adults-only areas are separate and quite relaxing. Pool and beach service are top-notch. Food quality was very good, especially the Mexican restaurant and pool/beach options. The breakfast buffet could be a bit more exciting, but I'm not a fan of buffets... if you just want an omelet, opt for room service, which is lovely. I highly recommend this resort, especially for families, but couples and singles will also love it. It's worth the price and it is a real 5-star luxury property.

Just wanted to let your staff know that after 6 nights at the Grand Velas we didn't want to leave. The staff was very attentive and the food in all three restaurants was delicious. Our room was very contemporary with a Mexican feel. We were able to lie in bed and see the ocean. I would highly recommend it and have already.
