This was a beautiful resort in a beautiful area. I recently went as a guest fitness instructor for just a quick few days. The entertainment staff was awesome! David & Belen did so great to help this non-spanish speaker feel welcome! I appreciated they spoke English with me so I wasn't lost. They were engaging and flexible and so kind. All the staff at this resort was awesome! The waiters at the restaurants were all so nice! We were very impressed with all our waiters. The pools were beautiful and clean. There were plenty of sun chairs around all the pool decks. I loved how there were so many and such a big area to spread out and enjoy the sun! The trees and grounds are gorgeous and you so much space to enjoy it! The beach was beautiful and access to it was just steps away. There were hawkers up and down the beach but they are respectful. The rooms were nice and were kept clean each day. A few downsides for me was I felt the food was only so-so. And the walls between the rooms are quite thin and we had rather noisy neighbors. But neither of these were total dealbreakers. So, overall it was an enjoyable stay!

Prior to coming to this resort, I read many negative reviews in order to adjust my expectations. Since I was able to book my stay and flights from some credit card points and airline issued credits, we held expectations minimal as long as the foods were edible, we were good. Upon arrival, we were assigned a room with an ocean view. The view overseeing the sparkling pool and having a nice whirlpool on the balcony made it easier to overlook some of the minor inefficiencies in the room which included dated vanities, peeled away paint, rusty shower head, and a leaky sink which we stayed away from using. The resort has the one and only pool area that stretches from the main building to the beach, offering much space to accommodate the crowd. While we went there during the spring break, it seemed to cater an older crowd with very few young people to be seen. Pool water was clear and staff was friendly and drink orders came out quickly. Unfortunately, food wasn't free which was out of place for an all inclusive resort. Food and drinks were pretty similar to other all inclusive resorts as the alcohol drinks were mostly watered down so it'd be prudent to stick with beer and wine. The food offered in this resort was nothing fancy or quality, but the chefs here somehow had the knack of working up magic by giving the food nice flavors. The resort has several restaurants on the premise. However, while I was there, there were only 2-3 restaurants opened each night in addition to the main marketplace buffet. As soon as we checked in, we were advise to make a reservation right away for our entire stay. Lastly, I would've given the resort a higher rating. However, a mishap happened right before we were scheduled to leave the airport. We were not specifically told during check in that we were required to return our wristbands (used to identify us as the customers of this resort), and we were charged $100 for a lost wristband. While we kept our expectation for the entire vacation minimal, this charge left a sour taste in our mouth as we had never needed to return our wristbands in other all-inclusive stays we had and we would've respected and followed their policy to return the wristband had it been made clear during the check in so make sure the wristbands were returned!

We are currently staying at this fantastic resort, that is full of fun activities and amazing sceneries. Besides the little birds flying around waiting for your food the staff, food, and rooms are all so amazing. Make sure to make reservations before hand for the restaurants you want to have dinner at because they have limited seating. There is 7 restaurants, 1 cafe, and multiple bars around the area. We had dinner at the Brasas, La Costa, and Lunch at La Cosecha at all three restaurants we had a server named Victoriano Flores Santoyo, he was the best with fast service and showing us a good time. He was funny, informative, and helpful. When we saw that the portion of one of the dishes was a little bit small he asked if we’d like another he said “ have as much as you want I can get you 1..2…3 dishes you name it.

This resort is very welcoming. Everyone is friendly and the service was great. Cleanliness is very important and you can tell. It’s quiet and calming which is just what we were seeking. We could always find good food and loved the fruit! Great place all around.

In March, my family and I were in Nuevo Vallarta at the Wyndham for two weeks as guests in the condominiums. We purchased 24 hour bracelets for the entire time. We have been coming here for 12 years and have always been so impressed with the staff! They go above and beyond every time we are there. Sandra and her team at the front desk are so friendly, helpful and kind every day! Shoutouts to Sandra’s team members Yvan, Omar, Mario and all of her team. Service in the buffet was exceptional by all of the staff. Augustine, Gilberto, Cesar, Mario and Ernesto were wonderful to us as were all of the others. We found the food in the buffet for all of the meals was delicious and the chefs are wonderful. The lady who prepares the omelettes and eggs on the outside grill at breakfast does an amazing job and always greets you with a smile. It was great to meet Gilberto who is the leader of this amazing team. Elizabeth who was at the lunch venue Cosecha was wonderful. The Italian restaurant was excellent and we went there often. Love the new decor! Shoutout to both Martin and Brenda who treated us so well! Service at the pool by Arturo and Gerardo was fabulous! They do an amazing job and keep the refreshments coming. We have small children and they were never too busy to remember what drinks they loved. All the servers at the pools and beach do a great job! The pool area at Wyndham is great and there are many chairs available. The children loved all three beautiful pools and spent many hours each day in them. The entire resort is so clean and well maintained. It’s awesome! Every staff member works so hard and are friendly. The beach is beautiful - long walks, boogie boarding and building sand castles keeps everyone happy. We will definitely be back and already are booked for March 2025! We can’t wait to see everyone again! It’s our home away from home! Gracias to everyone!
