Lovely resort with the most amazing staff who welcome you with smiles and try to accommodate any wish you might have! Everything was 10 out of 10 except maybe the room service could have had a better choice of items. Special thank you to the following staff members who made out stay extra special with their personality and service: Tasheba; Romario; Lloyd; O'shea and the lady at the healthy juice bar at the mineral pool!

This place is quite simply, the best. Outstanding from start to finish. The setting itself is stunning with luscious grounds maintained to a very high standard and beautiful views. The overall facilities are top tier, with pools and hot tubs and a sauna plus mineral pool, onsite gym and gift shops. The food is wonderful, served over three main restaurants with all food made fresh and served to your table and a wide variety plus there are small places dotted around the grounds so you can get a latte and cake or a smoothie and light bite in between meals. The rooms are lovely and absolutely spotless. Decor is fresh and quality furnishings and bedding. Now to the best part. The staff. They are an absolute credit and make your stay just fabulous. So helpful, kind and respectful and always looking out for the guests and making sure everything is good. There are a lot of return guests to here and I now know why. That more than anything is your clue to how good this place is.

My husband decided we needed a kid-free get away after the bus holidays. We had been to Couples San Souci 3 times previously, the last time being in 2018. I have to say that it has gotten even better! It’s in the most beautiful location with a private beach and the staff is so friendly and kind. They are happy to be there and really care about your experience. The food at the Casanova is excellent! In fact, I feel all the food has gotten even better. The renovations have made the resort more modern but not without losing the serene/intimate vibe that makes it such a special place. Shout out to Lasonya who gave me the best massage I ever had! My husband and I had the most perfect week.

First time at this resort. Would not return. The room was a nice size however you have to have air conditioning on cold or the room floor gets wet and the bedding damp. We were 4 days with no hot water. The keys to our room stopped working twice each time contacted reception took over an hour to get new keys. One night really loud fireworks at 1 am waking us up so loud went on for nearly 15 minutes. The food is acceptable lunchtime is best at bar on beach. Good choice tasty food. Booked one restaurant went and booked in told table inside we wanted outside as smell in restaurant smelt so strong of fish told we had booked an inside table reception booked it as the app to book it ourself would not accept our log in. We weren’t offered inside or outside when booked with reception. We also booked the Asian restaurant for our last night the Thursday again with reception went to check in for our meal to be told it was booked for the Wednesday we asked reception for Thursday. The staff are very hit and miss some are lovely some have bad attitude. Most people we met go for the sunset beach it’s a nude beach on one side of the property the normal beach where one wore bathing suits was very quiet during the day. I heard it was fun at the nude beach but not our thing. Not told on Monday night can’t eat in the restaurant you don’t have to book as it’s closed for invitation only for returning guests. Told to go to Asian but as no table booked told to wait at bar till table available. Twice a week restaurants closed as buffet on the lawn. Buffet ok but not a lot of choice. The sea off the beach at hotel is thigh deep at all times and a bit slimey underfoot not really deep enough to swim in but water was warm. Which is more than can be said for the pool water freezing I know it was January but so cold. Last grumble our transfer to go to the airport was late picking us up being a Friday afternoon rush hour took over 2 hours to get to airport so had to rush at airport no fun at all

We have stayed here a couple of years ago and also another couples property previously so was looking forward to returning back. The resort is in a beautiful spot and very private perfect for a relaxing break. We were checked in very easily and great service, housekeeping was perfect and the room was always well serviced. Most of the staff are very friendly around the resort, some staff were found to be less friendly. Now for the negatives, unfortunately. The Bella vista restaurant serves lunch without reservations and requires reservations for evenings for asian food. The menu for lunch has not changed in two years, virtually every visit we made for lunch we were greeted with we don't have this or that available usually minimum three items. No pizza all the time we were there (12 nights) even though pizza was being served at palazzina restaurant 50 yards away. Service was very mediocre. Asian food was good the night we ate there, however, I got the wrong main delivered but ate it anyway as my wife would have eaten alone whilst the correct meal was cooked and delivered. Palazzina restaurant serves both lunch and dinner, you needed to be there early in the service to get fresh hot food and good service. Food was generally good but I would not say 5 star. Dinner was again good but not 5 star by any means, if you go for dinner after 20-30 service will be sporadic and some options not available even though the restaurant is officially open until 21-30. Breakfast was very repetitive. We booked the Casanova restaurant twice and requested an outside table the second time only to be told it was not available even though there was availability. Food and service was very good both times. We tried to book again but according to the app system no availability. The last time we visited there was a gala dinner weekly on the lawn, this time it seemed to happen more often meaning the palazzina and the Bella vista was closed so we had no option but to eat at the "gala" dinner buffet again!! The website states room service is 24 hours but its not it finishes at 22-00. Sunbeds not always available so the towel droppers were out in force in the mornings. Golf used to be free when we last visited and you paid $50 for the club rentals. Now golf is chargeable at $50 dollars and club rental now $75 so quite expensive for an average golf course. The website for Couples still states golf is included which is misleading. I questioned this and was basically told in no uncertain terms take it or leave it. Overall I enjoyed the holiday and the setting but felt that it was definitely no where near as polished as our first visit in all departments. Would I return again I would need to think about that?

"What a great experience we had at the Sans Souci Resort and Spa. This resort was very luxurious, and we were very pampered from the moment we arrived."
