Hacienda Tres Rios

We had a great experience at this resort starting with our room. Very clean and well stocked thanks to our great housekeeper, Flora. Our room was on the 2nd floor of building# 4 and had a beautiful view of palm trees and other plants, quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed a long bench made of wood in our room that was perfect to keep our luggage on for easy access. Our concierge, Selena was very friendly and helpful. The butler that was most outstanding was Daniel. When we went to eat it's hard to say what we liked most because the food was amazing everywhere. It really was the people that made a difference. In the buffet Eduardo Aquino stood out. He was the manager and by the amazing selection of lots of healthy choices my favorite being the wide variety of fruits and of coarse other tasty treats, he'sdoing a fantasticjob!! Sadly the coffee wasn't always fresh, maybe because this time of year not as many drink coffee...it was 30°C most days, but the service was excellent. A shout out to Edgar, Oscar, and Hugo, who took very good care of keeping our drinks fresh around the pool. Excellent job guys!!! Hard working Daniela worked in several areas and always had a smile and was quick to serve. Lastly I'd like mention Fatima and Vanessa my nature tour guides and we absolutely enjoyed snorkeling the cenote. We loved our one week get away at Hacienda Tres Rios

With only two exceptions, in the last fifteen years, my wife and I have spent two weeks every year at Tres Rios. We enjoy just relaxing on the Beach and in the pools. We have gotten to know many of the staff and like to catch up on their lives and changes in their families. We particularly enjoyed talking to Daniel, Ruth, Marcos and Aliber the "Butlers" that scheduled special meals or events for our visit. This year, there was a maintenance issue with one of the pools. Management assured us that they were working on it. The unit that we stayed in was not properly furnished. The Master bedroom lacked any drawers, so our clothing stayed on a bench for two weeks and the family area had a small couch for two while the rest of the family sat on dining room chairs. Finally, the food has been greatly improved.

The Sense experience is not so well known when you visit Hacienda Tres Rios. It is offered every day during few time during the day. I highly recommend you to give this opportunity to live it. It is not religious or extreme. It is actually pretty good and it’s included. Do not let this opportunity to relax and explode your senses. And this is not just one time deal, you can live as many time you want.

Tres Rios had wonderful food. Pool is always nice. Beach not so much. I would like to see some improvement there. The remodel is still going, It did not affect us at all. We had a big group and lots of fun. Hugo at the pool did an amazing job taking care of us.

Worst all inclusive ever!! Practicaly self serve! No VIP bar! Bad service!! Not servers fault. Bad management!!
