This was an Amazing resort and nicely tucked into nature.
This resort exceeded our expectations in every way, starting with the incredibly warm and welcoming staff. From check-in to the servers and bartenders, everyone went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Fatima was an outstanding guide for the on-site activities, leading us through kayaking, snorkeling, and even a fascinating nursery tour. While there isn’t a swim-up bar, it honestly didn’t matter—Victor and Edgar provided exceptional poolside service and made sure we always had everything we needed. Evenings were just as memorable. After dinner, Cesar and Abel crafted fabulous cocktails that were the perfect way to end the night. Although the theater was closed due to a lower number of guests, the resort still delivered fun and engaging entertainment in the sports bar, including magic shows, bingo, pop music trivia, and more. Every Friday night, the resort truly comes alive with a Mexican-themed celebration in the center of the property, featuring authentic cuisine and beautiful Mexican folk dancing. We also loved the complimentary shopping trip, which included a visit to a tequila factory and time to explore and shop in downtown Playa del Carmen. Overall, this was an incredible getaway—a hidden gem tucked away in the mangroves, surrounded by abundant wildlife and a peaceful, secluded atmosphere. This resort is an absolute must-see. The only small improvement we’d suggest would be the beds, as the mattresses are quite firm and a medium firmness option would be ideal. That said, this place is truly something special, and we can’t wait to return.

Trip to Tres Rios
We had a wonderful time at Tres Rios. Rosa took such excellent care of us at the Grill and Islas. She would go the extra mile to see that we had everything we needed.

Way to expensive!!!! Alma & Danell were our butlers and they were very attentive. The food has gotten a bit better. The all exclusive is terrible! There’s no way 2 old people eat & drink $360.00/day!!!!!(rice& beans).

Exceptional holiday get away. Resort is safe and enjohable. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Amenities are different from your conventional resorts. The 3 rivers are an exceptional draw.

Very nice & welcoming atmosphere.
We had a really good time, absolutely loved everything. Only complaint was the AC, didn’t seem to be cooling down our room. We also loved our mesera Rosa. She was very nice and welcoming.

My wife and I took the four-night package in August and really got our money's worth! The service from the entire staff was phenomenal. The nature activities, including biking and kayaking through the terrain and rivers, are not to be missed. The beach was beautiful. The complimentary wind surfing boat ride was very special. The quality and quantity of food available was amazing and I am a NYC food snob! And the top shelf liquor was always available! I could go on... Visit this property!!
