Hacienda Tres Rios

It had everything I needed for the type of vacation I wanted. I wanted a vacation to reconnect with myself by being in nature, slow down from electronics and just being present. This location did just that for me. Facilities: The hotel, restaurant and rooms nice and clean. There were some animal droppings, but not enough to raise concerns considering its on a nature reserve. However, the misquotes were bad so bring bug repellant. The pool was clean and comfortable. One small disappointment, There are no full ocean views on this property. There was a bit of construction going on as well (but not enough to disrupt the atmosphere. Overall, the facilities were in clean and comfortable conditions. Food: The food was overall, great. The quality and taste of the food was great. No buffets but there were some open fruit and bread but the staff were monitoring things. The pastry shop is a little gem. Staff: The staff was a 10/10. Every person from the bellman, to the concierge and all of the activity facilitators. They were all very professional, friendly, helpful and ready to be of great service. The people who stood out the most to me was Alexis the Concierge. He was so very helpful with my many questions. He took care of everything he could, in timely manner--something I appreciate. Miriam, the Kayak/Snorkel Guide was also great to be in the water with. She was attentive, gave good conversation and definitely helped me feel comfortable in the water. Activities: There was a calendar of activities right on the grounds, which made leaving the grounds unnecessary for me. Overall, the property had everything to relax and enjoy if you want to slow down and be more present.

We had a wonderful stay at Hacienda Tres Rios. The resort felt incredibly calm and relaxing, with plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the beautiful grounds. Even when the resort was busy, it never felt crowded because there are so many activities and areas to explore. If you’re looking for a more lively atmosphere, the pool area offers a fun and energetic option as well. Overall, it was the perfect balance of tranquility and entertainment, and we would gladly return. P.s. HUGO is the best man to serve you at the pool ! Miriam is also so sweet on the kayak tours!

The food is amazing. The staff are super. We've been going there for 13 years. I would like to mention these staff members that I will give 10 stars each. David Diaz Miguel Edwardo Edgar Daniel Alex Hugo Neri Luis (who called things on his head) We are never disappointed!

We had an amazing 8-day, 7-night stay at Hacienda Tres Rios! Because of the remodeling and it being off-season, there were only two restaurants open each night, but the staff truly went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Carlos, the bartender, made us feel like family. Alexander and his entertainers always made the daily activities fun and engaging. The pool waitstaff were always so attentive, and Pedro, our Habachi chef, did amazing. I’m already looking forward to our next visit!

I’m leaving 3 stars based solely on the resort itself. The resort itself was under a lot of construction. Only a few restaurants were open. The beach was full of seaweed. Bars closed a little too early I found. Coming from New Orleans where bars never close to here where they close at 11-12 at night was a bummer. I brought my niece on a graduation trip so she could experience new things and travel to another Country with family. As far as the service, the service was amazing. I have listed a few of the people below that I highly recommend meeting and getting to know if you ever find your self at this resort. Rosa was amazing every morning for breakfast. She made sure we were taken care of and went above and beyond for us everyday. Mauricio and Alexander was a blast that kept us entertained with daily activities by the pool and at night in the sports bar. Always went above and beyond to find us to participate in the activities and let us know what time and what was planned. Cezar at the bar made the absolute best drinks. No one there made a drink better. He would keep them coming and made sure before shutdown we all had a full drink for last call. Alma in the cafe made the best coffees and always would get us what we asked for.
