Hacienda Tres Rios

Tres Rios is lovely as always. A nice variety of eateries and food quality. Friday fiesta's are a special treat. Rooms are clean and well appointed. The nature reserve is unique and special. Nice to see the Hacienda grill closed in now. Keeps the animals at bay and offers a great view. A very special part of the experience is the attentive staff. We view many as family. Special thanks to our butlers Daniel, Ruth, Geovani and Alma! We always love to see and catch up with Selena, Jose, Anna and Isabelle. The activities staff Alex, Miriam and Fatima. Special thanks to housekeeping, restaurant,and maintenance staff. Sharon enjoyed all of Marbella massages in the spa. Nice to see so many familiar faces each year. Looking forward to our next visit.

Relaxing, thought provoking, heart searching and re-balance(prioritizing)

The staff at Hacienda Tres Rios are very hospitable and focused on service. My wife and I visited in early February with friends and our experience with staff was delightful. Special thanks to Alma in the coffee shop for making the best lattes ever, Cesar Hoil Avila our Lobby Bar bartender who is exceptional at his craft and Victor serving drinks at the pools. We have been to HTR multiple times and these people continue to make our trip worthwhile! Thanks again!

Do not stay here! The walls are thin; we heard snoring all night over the AC, an occasional crying baby and people talking in the hallway. The font desk motto is "apologize for everything, but do nothing" including the managers. The front desk staff was apologetic but uncaring wheneverwe had an issue. Our room was not ready until an hour after check in time; when the safe was not working they refused to move us to another room when they could not fix it. We had to wait for the people to come fix the safe, they could not send someone up to let them in. We did not have a safe for over two days; they said a repair person would arrive from Cancun on Sunday, they finally installed a new safe on Monday. The safe issue waisted over four hours of our time. We requested a late check out due to the issues, they deactivated the key card so we had to go back to the front desk and they told us to air our issues on their website! When we checked out we asked to speak to a manager, she was apologetic and said we should have been told the key card would be deactivated. Be sure to exchange money before you check out if you want to pay for your taxi in pesos because they will not help you after you check out Your money is better spent elsewhere, we have stayed at many resorts on the Mayan Rivera over the last few years for up to 40% less that are better and just as nice booking online. The service staff other than front desk was good, the food was good and the grounds are nice. The deserts are not good (grocery store grade). You will occasionally notice they cater to their members, which is not as apparent at other resorts we have stayed at. If you want to snorkel or swim in the river leading out from the cenote you can walk from one of the neighboring resorts. Either way, be sure to brink your own snorkel equipment since they no longer provide it after covid.

We had a lovely stay at Tres Rios! The service was the best! Rosa and Louis were excellent servers at breakfast and Carlos kept our beverages coming at the poolside bar! Our room was cleaned so well and timely each day. I just love the decor throughout the resort and the view!! It was nice to have a variety of settings available to us- different pools, or beach areas to relax in. We took advantage of the amenities offered here. Kayaking was so fun, nature walks through the nursery, playing billiards in the bar, attending the Friday night fiesta all were wonderful. The pizza place was a hit with us as well as the other restaurants on site. We never had a bad meal. Great time!
