Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun

If you are looking to be totally pampered and taken care of, this is the resort! I cannot say enough good things about Secrets Maroma Beach and our amazing experience there! The staff were all incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. I have a gluten and dairy allergy. All of the menus were marked with allergens so I felt very safe ordering food. Also, all of the restaurants were happy to modify food so I could a variety of things. The Preferred Beach Club was our favorite part! We ate breakfast and lunch there almost everyday. The hostess, Alfredo, Mateo, Manuel, the bartenders and all of the other staff knew who we were and as soon as they saw us, they'd bring over my husband's soda water right as we sat down! It had a beautiful atmosphere with the violinist playing in the mornings and overlooking the beach and ocean. Miguel our building concierge was so very helpful! He booked our spa appointments, helped us change them to a longer time, had our fridge stocked with water and soda water. He was so friendly and greeted us every time he saw us! His service was incredible. Our room was extremely clean and well cared for. Housekeeping did an amazing job! This was probably the cleanest hotel room I have stayed in! The vibe and noise level were perfect for us as we are very low key! The beach and pool concierges were amazing as well. They would lay our our towels every day. We booked a bali bed and the service by Hugo and Luis was great! We had cold waters refreshed throughout the day! Our UVC concierges Luis and Zayda were amazing! They checked in on us every morning and asked what we needed. We had massages and both of the therapists gave amazing personalized massages for both me and my husband. We left feeling relaxed and our bodies felt better! Overall, Secrets Maroma Beach was the best experience! I have never felt so pampered and well taken care of. Every single staff member went out of the way! I would be happy to stay here every year! Thank you again for an incredible experience!

An incredible week sadly had to come to an end at Secrets Maroma. We are 2 beach buns from Canada who are really over the cold and now feel truly blessed to have found our new favorite winter place. The staff has been absolutely impeccable ans the service was great. Big shout out to building 14 Addrien who answered all of my questions and helped us with anything needed. Honestly the food was great, the drinks well made. I will add as someone who doesn't drink much the mocktails made this really great for me. They were not an afterthought and very well designed. The beach might have actually blown away our expectations in the best possible way but the staff is what truly sets this place apart.

We had a great experience on a recent trip to Secrets Maroma! We were traveling in a large group ranging in age from 22-86 and found the experience to be enjoyable for all ages. The Positives: The beach was beautiful, with plenty of chairs and umbrellas and well-serviced, with staff frequently checking in to bring drinks. The restaurants were great and superior to those at previous all-inclusives we had stayed at, including a Secrets in the DR. We especially liked the Asian and Mexican restaurants. All of the service, from housekeeping to waiters at the restaurants were great and very attentive. Rooms were spacious and clean. We were there for New Years and the resort had a nice party on the beach with plenty of food and drinks. The Negatives: Since we were traveling in such a large group, it was difficult to get seated for dinner in a timely manner and we were often split into two tables. While I realize that these resorts are more oriented towards couples, we felt that they could have been more accommodating to our large group size. Additionally, many of the prime spots on the beach close to the water were taken up by cabanas which cost ~$200 per day, which we felt is steep given how expensive the resort stay is. The resort had a lot of coati's (raccoon-like animal) on the property. Though I understand that it is difficult for the resort to control this, one day we woke up to a coati on the balcony and discovered it had left excrement behind. However once we brought this to the attention of the staff, it was promptly cleaned. Overall we had a really nice stay and would definitely recommend!

It was a very nice short 5 days getaway :) Beach was nice and clean (that is most important to me) Rooms war clean, food was good 👍 😋 👌 just a verry nice place all around, (that travertine in the rooms could use a little face-lift, but not the end of the world) I'll definitely be back 😀.....
