Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun

I recently returned from Secrets Maroma in Cancun and have to say that it was a most amazing experience. The service staff was the most friendly and attentive that I've ever seen. Our concierge Marcelo attended to our needs and concerns expeditiously. The resort far exceeded my expectations...we'll definitely be returning and recommend Maroma to anyone researching all inclusives.. R. Mora

What an incredible resort! We went to two years ago, and we knew we had to come back!!! I thought there was no way it would be as good as the first time, but it really was!!! The beach was absolutely beautiful! I sat there and stared at the ocean and the palm trees and just felt so grateful! The food is out of this world! Especially for me personally, the French and Italian restaurants. The property is immaculately clean and comfortable. But I think my number one favorite thing about the whole experience is the people. The leadership of this resort must treat people well. As I don’t think it is possible for that many people to fake that much happiness and pride for their place of work! Our concierge Bramdon went out of his way so many times to make our trip so pleasurable! From hunting me down on the beach to bring me new keys when I lost mine, to ensuring our favorite beverages were in our refrigerator, to alerting us to everything that was going on at the property, he was amazing!!!! So many other people also stood out with excellence. Luiz our waiter at Oceana was fantastic as we were with a pretty wild crowd for dinner, Luiz from the beach cabanas was so kind and patient and ready to help with whatever I needed whenever I needed it. Also. I feel terrible as the names escape me, but the guys that do the food and beverage while you’re on the beach at the preferred club were absolutely, positively fantastic!. Didn’t forget a thing with my orders, checked back frequently, and were incredibly nice. The entire staff everywhere worked so hard to make sure that your experience is one you will never forget. (also, I have to mention the sweet lady that makes the omelettes! She remembered my order every day I was there!!!!!) Anyways, a lot of all inclusives can be very disappointing. But this one is consistently spectacular.!!! Thank you to everyone who made our trip so wonderful!!!

I went to Secrets with my husband to celebrate my 50th and they had a birthday cake waiting for me! We had never been to Mexico and had never stayed at an all-inclusive resort before. I did a ton of research online, read a million reviews on resorts all over Mexico. Secrets seemed to have the best reviews and I now know why. We loved everything about this resort!!! Every employee we encountered greeted us and had a smile on their face. We talked to a man from Canada who has stayed at over 30 all-inclusive resorts and he told us this was the best he's ever stayed at.

We stayed 5 days at Maroma with a large group (35 people) celebrating a 40th birthday. It was an excellent time and I would recommend considering this resort if visiting the Riviera Maya area. Food - really enjoyed the different options and could not even get to everything. Asian/Hibachi was very good, Italian dinner was great and one of the nights we had a Mexican Fiesta theme night where they put on a big show by the pool. This was my favorite as it was different stations of authentic Mexican favorites. Jorge was our service and he was great. Pool - there are 2 decent sized pools and getting chairs at the pool deck was not an issue. I have been to other resorts where it got very competitive and that was not my experience here. The pool did not have an overly crowded feel which I did enjoy. I have been to other resorts that had more of an elaborate pool area and better views of the beach but this met expectations for us. Rooms - no issue with the rooms. We did a standard swim out room and it was nice. We spend most of our time outside of the room so as long as it meets a certain level of criteria, I am usually happy. We have certainly had nicer rooms in previous experiences but nothing was wrong with them at all. Additionally, there are upgrades and preferred levels that we did not select which likely have nicer options on the property. Spa - a spectacular spa complex that seems almost impossible to fit in the resort. It just keeps going on like a secluded cave. I had a 50 minute massage and it was a phenomenal experience. Many in our group had a variety of other services and all experiences were positive. I wish I recalled the name of my masseuse to give her some praise :( Service - this is really where Maroma stood out. The people and service were wonderful. Everyone we interacted with seemed to truly enjoy working at the resort and this reflected in their level of service and care. To name a few - Isamar was our fantastic server around the pool. She remembered names, drink orders and generally was wonderful to converse with. Ana served our group cabanas and kept up with a steady flow of ordering every day. She was wonderful and attentive. Aaron was one of the excellent bartenders in the lobby bar (beautiful bar) and he would also move over to the night club later at night. Hector was our concierge in our area and was incredibly friendly and a very strong communicator. My wife and I were fairly low-maintenance as we did not require much or book any off-site excursions, however, he was always a friendly, attentive face that was very helpful.

Secrets Maroma is an outstanding resort. The customer service and amenities were exceptional. The property and room were both well maintained. The food was absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed the variety of activities that were offered. The pool and beach areas were well attended and did not disappoint. The following team members made our trip exceptional and they went above and beyond ensuring that our stay was exceptional: Frank and Mauricio provided excellent customer service. Hector (Concierge), Lucio, Carlos, Eric, Efrain, Marco, Elvis, and David made sure that we were comfortable and informed. Alejandra with entertainment team is an outstanding hostess and made me feel at home. My Spa technician was superb, Geracia. The vibe and atmosphere at Secrets Maroma are truly worth a return visit for me. I am happily looking forward to my next visit there!
