Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun

Staff is incredibly friendly, rooms are very nice and clean, and the overall vibe is very quiet and lowkey. Our concierge Guillermo was specifically awesome. Great experience

The resort is very nice and well kept. Everything worked. Service is great everywhere. Partial ocean view has no ocean views. Huge hot tub occupied large portion of the room. Not sure if people use it, I sure didn’t and would prefer room without it. There is no reservations for restaurants which is nice in principle. But when told there is over an hour wait for French restaurant ( many people highly recommended it) we settled for Mexican. Again service was excellent, food not so much. Very bland, had to ask for salt/pepper and some hot sauce. Guacamole is just mashed avocado. No salt, lime or cilantro. Disappointing. Buffet was great for lunch, didn’t try breakfast but everyone else enjoyed it . I would love dinner buffet offered. Entertainment was superb. Live music and silent disco was great. Now, the biggest disappointment is the beach. Unbelievable amount of seaweed. They tried hard to clean it up, but it’s mission impossible. And the smell is strong and nauseating at times. Pools are beautiful and well kept. But because no one could be at the beach pools were overcrowded and it was impossible to find shady lounges after 8. I am a beach bum and if you are not you will enjoy the resort. So it’s depends what’s your priorities when it comes to all inclusive. I would not come back, at least in the summer.

This was our first stay at a Secrets resort and definitely won't be our last. From the time we pulled in we were greeted by the amazing staff. Every single place we went from the buffet, pool and beach the staff made sure we had everything we could want. Our Concierge Angel was fantastic at making sure any questions or needs we had were met. We look forward to visiting again soon

Secrets Maroma has truly become our second home, and our July stay was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality that made the entire week unforgettable. A very special thank-you to Resident Manager Johanna Reside, General Mgr. Mr. Martinez, and the entire Secrets Maroma team for once again making our visit so memorable. Their attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction are what continue to set this resort apart. We would also like to thank our building concierge, Bramdon, for checking in with us daily and making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. His care and attentiveness were greatly appreciated. The food and drink quality were outstanding from start to finish. Special thanks to Denis and his team, including Ruben, Juan Mora, Francisco, Cesar, and Armando, for making every dining and beverage experience so enjoyable. Our dinners were especially memorable thanks to the warm welcomes from Managers Veronica, Esteban, Hector, and Alan; Servers Jorge, Darwin, Antonio and Francisco; and Hostesses Katia, Roxana, Daniela, and Nicoleta. We spent many wonderful days by the pool and beach, where the service was consistently excellent. Thank you to Day/Night Manager Rodrigo, Pool Concierges Many, Jose, and Franco, and pool servers Carera, Ana, Isamar, Marvin, and Catalina for taking such great care of us. A special thank-you as well to bartenders Antonio and Valentin for making our favorite margaritas perfectly each and every day. The lobby bar was another favorite stop during both the day and evening. Carmen and Estrella provided wonderful service and always made us feel welcome. A big shout-out to the Sommelier Team—Ivan, Janet, and Oilio—for the wonderful tequila and wine selections. Their recommendations added something special to our stay. We are also very grateful to our housekeeper, Sarahi, for taking such excellent care of our room each day. Everything was always spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. We also want to personally thank Concierges Marcelo and Talia for their help coordinating our needs for our event with family and friends. Their support helped make the occasion smooth, special, and memorable for everyone. Our daily turndown service from Gabi and minibar replenishment by Mauricio were also excellent. Their attention to detail helped make our room feel refreshed, welcoming, and well cared for every day. Our check-in and check-out experiences with Adrianna, Antonio, and Aldo were seamless. We truly appreciated their professionalism, efficiency, and friendly service throughout the process. Once again, thank you to Mr. Martinez, Johanna Reside, and the entire Secrets Maroma team for making our week so special. Secrets Maroma continues to be a place where we feel welcomed like family, and we are already looking forward to our next visit.

I went with my husband and we had a wonderful stay at Secrets Maroma. The service was fantastic and all the staff were very helpful, friendly and went above and beyond for us at all times. Our personal concierge Marco offered exceptional service and let us know daily of all the activities and events happening each day. The service at the pools was top notch and they made our days relaxing and enjoyable. We’ve been to several Secrets Resorts and this one by far was the best. We will definitely be back.
