Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun

What an amazing experience! This was my wife and my’s first trip to an all inclusive and this place will be hard to beat! You will be absolutely blown away by the staff and service you are given. On check-in before we even got inside the building, we were met with a damp towel service to refresh from the hot Mexican heat, followed by lounge chairs in the lobby and round after round of drinks while we waited! We arrived early (before check-in time), but we still were able to enjoy all the amenities while we waited for our rooms to be ready (we were traveling with 3 other couples). Our wait staff was impeccable, with Gloria being our favorite waitress, very friendly and genuinely loved to be of service to us. Our group sought her out to have a few drinks wherever she was working each day. Edwin was the bartender that afternoon and we had a special request for a drink and he was amazing with his mixology skills. We kept returning to him for this drink as the other bartenders either didn’t quite understand us or didn’t know how to make a drink like we were asking. Our Romantic day had Manuel (Manny) as our concierge and Alberto was our server who were both outstanding. Marco kept the drinks coming on our last day at the pool and was outstanding. Back at our building (23) Angel was our concierge and was very attentive and pleasant. He even sought us out while we were laying by the pool on more than one day (I don’t even know how he knew who or where we were after barely meeting us) to see if we needed anything. We chose to stay at the resort, but Angel was right there to assist in any excursions or help us with anything we needed. The house keeping was also great, and you will get the standard morning house keeping and turn-down service in the evening. The towels at your bedside and chocolates on the bed are a nice touch! Keeping to that, there are several nice touches that make the difference at this resort. Pool-side sunglasses cleaning (you don’t know you need this until you get it!) and real towels to dry your hands make you feel pampered at every turn. The resort is more couples and romance oriented. It focuses on couples experiences more than groups the cabanas are for two people, as are all the rooms. The bathrooms are quite amazing (best either of us have stayed in!) with an open feel with a large jacuzzi tub separating the bathroom from the rest of the room. There are large wood slatted doors that can be closed for more privacy, but again this is tuned more for a romantic evening with your significant other. Our group had an amazing time and we were looking into coming back before we got back to the airport to fly home! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone!

We had an exceptional time! Everything about the resort exceeded our expectations. I cannot say enough good things and will definitely be back!

Overall I would give my trip an 8 out of 10. Only reason I didn't give 10 is we did not have a good spa experience and there was a lot of noise in the room above us. We thought maybe there was construction going on as it sounded like furniture being moved. Other than those 2 things I would highly recommend this resort. The staff was amazing, the food was good, and the entertainment was one of the best I've experienced. I love that they alternate shows at the theater and by the pool.

My wife & i spent 6 nights at secrets! everyone was so accommodating, nice, and made you feel special! From the beach to the pool, the staff were amazing, including uziel at the sports bar, angel from the entertainment area, & angel out concierge. all around a wonderful experience with great food, energy, and nightlife! will be back!

Our stay at Secrets Maroma was simply incredible. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything exceeded our expectations. We absolutely loved this resort and cannot wait to come back! What truly made this experience unforgettable was the exceptional staff. We would especially like to recognize Mr. Domingo at the French restaurant. His service was second to none—warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. He made us feel completely at home, and he was actually the reason we were the only restaurant we visited twice during our stay. We specifically went back because of him! If you have the opportunity, we highly recommend asking for Domingo. He will make your dining experience truly special. We would also like to thank Mr. Freddy at the World Café. His attention to detail was outstanding, and he was always attentive, friendly, and eager to ensure everything was perfect. We found ourselves asking for him every time we visited because we knew we would receive exceptional service. Another team member who deserves special recognition is Mr. Miguel at Seaside Grill and Oceana. His kindness, sweetness, and genuine hospitality made every meal even more enjoyable. He was absolutely wonderful and left a lasting impression on us. We would also like to give a special shoutout to Chef Francisco at the Hibachi restaurant. He is, without a doubt, the best hibachi chef we have ever experienced. Not only was the food outstanding, but the show he put on was absolutely incredible—fun, engaging, and truly unforgettable. He made the entire experience one of the highlights of our trip! Beyond the outstanding staff, the resort itself is impeccable. The facilities are beautiful and exceptionally well maintained, the food is truly on another level, and the entertainment shows were so much fun. One thing we also greatly appreciated was how convenient it was to book excursions and activities. The resort has knowledgeable and professional staff on-site who can help arrange tours and experiences, making the process seamless, safe, and stress-free. It gave us peace of mind knowing we were booking through trusted experts, and it allowed us to enjoy some truly unforgettable experiences during our stay. We came to Secrets Maroma to relax and celebrate our anniversary, and the experience surpassed everything we were hoping for and more. Thank you to the entire Secrets Maroma team for creating such a memorable vacation. We are already looking forward to our next visit!
