Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun

Absolutely incredible experience! The resort is the perfect size with everything being about a 5 minute walk. The pool area is a great size with both a heated and unheated pool making it convenient to both lounge and/or cool off on extra hot days. We enjoyed all the food here barring a couple oddball items. Standout dishes were the shrimp tostada at Seaside Grill, the Filet Mignon at Bordeau, the corn soup at El Patio, and the mixed skewers at the Mediterranean pop-up. Drinks were great as well - honestly there are few places in the entire resort where you can hide from the bar staff who are always friendly and come by frequently to take drink orders. The beach is beautiful and large enough to enjoy a nice walk along. Seating at the beach was typically easy to find and the sun covers are big enough to provide plenty of shade - perfect for spending the day reading a good book. Overall, I have no complaints and I would strongly recommend Secrets Maroma to couples looking for a relaxing getaway.

My husband and I visited Secrets Maroma Beach at the end of November, the third time we had been to this hotel. We had an ocean view room, with a spectacular view. The room was spacious and wonderfully decorated. The service was excellent, around the pool and in most restaurants. Special thank you to Mauricio, at the pool, who looked after us each day and ensured we wanted for nothing. It was a pleasure to get to know him. Dario, also around the pool made it his mission to make sure we kept hydrated - recommending drinks and checking on us as he walked by. Luis, in the French restaurant was attentive, efficient and by far our best waiter, adding additional dishes if we were unsure what to order that day. Overall this was a true 5 star hotel with an incredible beach and stunning grounds. The lobby bar was a good place to sit in the evening with a drink, before and after dinner. The entertainment was a little hit and miss but the hotel is renovating the night club, which limits its options. We were there over Thanksgiving and for me, it was magical to go to breakfast each morning and see the new Christmas decorations installed overnight, including the 15 foot Christmas Tree which appeared fully decorated in the lobby one morning. We are so looking forward to going back, maybe even this winter!

From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, the standards at this hotel are absolutely outstanding. The attention from the staff is unbelievable, all staff are friendly, professional, and always going the extra mile. The food is exceptional, with a consistently high quality throughout our stay. The rooms are immaculate, with excellent housekeeping and great attention to detail. Everything is kept spotless, not just the rooms but the entire hotel. The grounds are beautifully maintained and very well thought out. The beach area is superbly managed, and the pool area is fantastic, it is spacious, relaxing, and with more than enough sunbeds for everyone. Quite simply, a true five-star experience. We couldn’t fault it and would highly recommend staying here. We did not meet anyone on the holiday that has anything whatsoever and negative to say about their experience either

Awesome time, very clean and the staff is amazing. Food was great as well. I was very pleasantly surprised, we have been to other resorts and this was just amazing compared to others.

Great ambiance, food and excellent service. Our concierge, Hector, was amazing! He came and found me everyday to make sure I had the reservations I needed. Come with lots of small bills for tips.
