Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun

Just finished my 17th trip to this resort and trip 18 is already booked! That should say it all but there are many I must mention. Secrets Maroma is not only my second home but the staff there are my second family. The concierge team- Bramdon, Edy, Manny, Roger, Jose, Roberto, Luis, and Franco thank you so much for taking such great care of me. Bramdon worked so hard to get me the room upgrade I wanted (go oceanfront!). Manny got me the perfect beach setting every day. This resort is so lucky to have the concierges they do. The waitstaff are so friendly and attentive. I was never without an ice cold drink or cool washcloth or clean sunglasses. Enair, Balbina, Marvin, Alberto, Edar, Luis, and Dario are the dream team. My mornings were absolute perfection at the preferred club breakfast with Mateo and Carlos. I was immediately greeted with their smiling faces and a fresh mimosa every morning. I can’t recommend this resort enough. Stunning beach, lush gorgeous grounds, and again the most important part THE BEST STAFF. Take care of your people Secrets Maroma! They make your resort what it is. One last thing-I booked an upcoming Christmas trip to Secrets Playa Blanca to try something new and halfway through this trip I called my travel agent and had her move that trip to Maroma. I’m sure Playa Blanca is great but…Maroma is the best no question. Excited to spend Christmas with my second family at my second home.

Secrets Maroma provided an absolutely amazing stay. The level of service and the quality of the activities here are truly next-level. Our concierge, Roberto, was phenomenal. He made a point to check in with us every single day to ensure all our needs were being met and that our stay was going perfectly. His attention to detail and consistent support really stood out. A major highlight of our trip was the tuna cutting experience by the pool. It was such a fantastic addition to the day—highly entertaining to watch and a top-tier culinary experience to taste. It is exactly the kind of unique, high-quality activity that sets this resort apart. The entire staff was awesome, but we want to specifically highlight Eder and his team by the pool for their great energy, as well as Margarita, William, and Alfredo at the restaurants. They all went above and beyond to make our meals and poolside time feel special.

My daughter and I visited Maroma for a quick four night getaway before her wedding. It was just what the dr ordered for some relaxation. The food was very good and we got into restaurants easily. We loved preferred and didn’t go into the buffet once. The breakfast in the sea side grill was so relaxing every morning and the violinist was such an added treat. We stayed mostly at the beach. Some days the seaweed was worse than others but we swam when we could . The pool was crowded probably because of guests avoiding the beach. Maroma does not have a quiet pool which we would have liked.As others have said, the gym does get crowded and only has one rack of hand weights which leaves guests jockeying to use them . There’s machines as well. The service of all staff is amazing. Our butler Roberto In building 25 without a doubt the most helpful, kind and caring person. We are a married couple in our mid 40's from the UK celebrating our 15 year wedding anniversary. Our holiday to Secrets Maroma was a last minute switch due to our original holiday in Dubai being cancelled. We have never visited Mexico before and I must say this resort surpassed all our expectations. It was simply paradise. From the moment we stepped foot off the airport transfer, to the moment we left the service was impeccable. The staff couldn't do enough for us. We particularly enjoyed our beach day, despite the amount of seaweed. The hotel had a team working tirelessly to clear it, unfortunately it was coming as quick as they were removing it. This is absolutely no fault of there's or a reflection on the resort, nor did it affect our holiday. The food was gorgeous. We didn't have a bad meal the entire week. We particularly enjoyed the Italian and visited twice. I would also highly recommend booking Tappenyaki, what a show and the food was beautiful. The boogie nights show was fantastic, the standard of talent was excellent. We were gutted to have missed the acrobatic show, if the standard was anything like the other shows, I can only imagine how good it was.
