My husband and I had an incredible week. Angel our concierge was extremely helpful, as were all of the staff. She have celiac and everyone was aware of my allergy and ensured that my food was safe. Lucien in the restaurant went out of his way to have the chef make me gf pancakes, French toast and waffles!!!! The pool staff all were aware of it and made sure all drinks were gf. The staff k ew is by name. The rooms were clean,staff and service were impeccable. The entertainment staff was inclusive and great fun!!!!

An absolutely incredible stay – outstanding service, stunning property Secrets Maroma Beach exceeded every expectation. The property itself is stunning, so beautifully designed with so much space, yet it never feels overwhelming or impersonal. The beach is pristine and truly one of the best I’ve experienced. The service is where this resort really shines. Every single interaction felt thoughtful and genuine. I did yoga twice during my stay and the instructor was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and calming. It was such a soothing, grounding experience and a real highlight of my mornings. Breakfast was delicious, as were all the restaurants on site. I stayed at Secrets Wild Orchid Montego Bay a few years ago and the restaurant setup is similar, but the food and service here are genuinely 10/10—a noticeable step up. Loved the teppanyaki experience, the Italian restaurant was very good. A special shout-out to Diana at the concierge and the room service team, who were truly exceptional. My husband became unwell during our trip, and the care he received was beyond what I expected from a resort—electrolytes sent to the room, custom soups prepared for him, regular check-ins, and genuine concern. Because of their attentiveness, I was still able to enjoy the resort while he recovered comfortably in the room, which made a huge difference. The only downside is the timeshare presentations which they kept pushing, even though I explained my husband wasn’t well enough to attend. While understandable, they can feel a bit persistent and borderline harassing. That said, it didn’t overshadow the experience, and knowing it’s part of how they make their income made it easier to brush off. Overall, this is an outstanding resort with exceptional service, beautiful surroundings, and a level of care that truly sets it apart. I absolutely loved my stay and would return in a heartbeat.

We stayed for 10 nights over the Christmas period and booked this having stayed in Secrets Cap Cana in Dominican Republic. We had a preferred swim out room. This was a great option if you wanted a quieter atmosphere during the day as the pool could get quite busy and loud. Room service was quick and good quality. Housekeeping and minibar service was daily but at times inconsistent; one day you would get a full restock then on other days items were not replaced. On Christmas Eve there was an option to pay an additional fee starting at $240 per couple for a meal experience. We didn’t opt for this but unfortunately service in other restaurants was not good; it almost felt like the hotel had concentrated all its efforts on the probably 25% of guests that had opted for the paid option. The French restaurant was excellent and we ate here twice. The beach is great with a preferred section which has waiter service. This is a great resort but not as consistent as Secrets Cap Cana in DR.

From the moment we arrived we knew we were in for a treat! We were in Building 26 with the best concierge, Brandon! He made our stay the absolute best! He went above and beyond through recommendations and finding us the best staff. Willie, Rene, Edgar, and Gracia made sure our drinks were always full, snacks were brought to us, called us by name daily, and learned our drinks of choice. Entertainment was spot on and we had Daniel who played putt putt with us, took our song request seriously, and always made sure to find us to hang out. We cannot thank the staff enough for making this trip the best. Truly was because of them! We will be most definitely be back and requesting to stay in Brandon’s building!
