Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun

We have just returned from this amazing resort and I really dont know where to start. We went to celebrate our Golden wedding and we wanted 'special' and that's exactly what we got. It was wonderful. What a great choice for food. Each and every restaurant was fantastic, both for food and staff. Talking of staff. We have never been anywhere where the staff have been so lovely, so attentive and generous of their time. A big thanks to them all. Too many to mention. Each 'block' of suites has it's own concierge. Ours was Marco. We found this arrangement to be really useful when needing any questions answered. Everyone is made to feel special. Lots of things to do in the daytime , if you want them, but no pressure if you want to just sit and relax and enjoy one of the two pools or the beach. My husband and I are not normally beach people but it was so nice to sit there - watching the Caribbean sea, walking along the beach or reading or sunbathing. Waiters around for drinks when needed. Again, always so lovely and friendly. Also there's things to do on the beach if that's your thing. The two pools are really nice and you can always get a sunbed regardless of time of day so no need for that early morning dash with the towels. Again waiters at your beck and call. The evening entertainment is really good and we enjoyed many of the shows. I must mention the gardens. They are immaculate and so well cared for, it was a joy to walk about and to listen to the birdsong that we don't hear in the UK. I was near to tears leaving and we will defiantly be back. Thanks Maroma beach resort, you made us very happy.

Best experience I have had! The hospitality is amazing, there was not one staff member that did not greet us whenever we walked by. The attention they give you makes you feel like you are the only person at the resort. The resort does not let you get bored- there is something literally planned at all times. We participated in casino night and won a private dinner on the beach (which was so romantic). Special shout out to Hector our concierge who found us at the pool just to take our food order for the beach dinner. The hospitality at the pool is like no other, fun little surprises kept popping up just when you thought it doesn’t get better than this- it did! The daily entertainment at the pool was perfect and it was not overly loud. I booked this resort solely based on the reviews for the beach- it did not disappoint! The sand is so white and soft. There are plenty of beach chairs that nobody has to lay out on the sand. The water was amazing, no need for water shoes. The service down at the beach is also amazing. Shout out to Miguel for remembering who we were and our order each day! He never left us with an empty drink! Food- I was nervous about the food because we did not care for the food at RIU in Cabo, it was the exact same everyday. You do not have to worry, the food was exceptional- so many choices plus a themed night down by the pool every night if you don’t want to choose a restaurant or private dinner on your balcony. Men do need to follow the dress code- I watched two men be “Karen’s” because they weren’t allowed in the breakfast buffet with sleeveless shirts. Grounds- the entire resort is beautiful, exotic, well kept and was easy to navigate. It only took me 4 minutes to walk from the beach back to my room which was the furthest building by the lobby. Housekeeping- not only did they clean up daily and always make sure you have what you want in the fridge, we were also surprised when we came back for the night, our room was also turned down and set up for bedtime complete with chocolates on the pillow. We were never at a resort that had housekeeping twice a day. Room- we had a partial ocean view with two double beds because the King rooms were sold out. The double bed was fine, it just meant closer cuddles. My husband thought the bed was a little firm for his liking, I didn’t notice. Overall- This was truly an amazing experience we did not expect. This is not your typical all-inclusive resort, be prepared to feel pampered at all moments. Now I understand why this resort was a bit pricey but well worth it. If you love to see sunsets on the beach like I do, then that might be your only disappointment, which I got over very quickly. Even without being able to see the sunset, I rate my experience as 10 ⭐️

My wife and I went to celebrate my 56th birthday. We had an amazing stay at Secrets Maroma Beach Resort. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm and welcoming, and the property felt luxurious and relaxing. The beach at Maroma is absolutely stunning, with soft white sand and crystal-clear water, so far, the best beach we have been to. Our ocean front suite was spotless and spacious, with a very comfortable bed and a large balcony. Housekeeping did an excellent job daily. I want to thank Guillermo our concierge at building 17, because he was made our stay special. We really appreciate your kindness and professionalism! We also want to thank Ivan and Janet at the Wine Concierge for making my birthday and Super Bowl Day unforgettable. They went above and beyond to create such special memories for us. We are so grateful for this amazing team! Also, we want to thank Nestor our waiter at the buffet. Overall, this is an incredible place to relax and have a great time. Can wait to go back.

We had the most wonderful experience. What a great resort - staff was outstanding - room was unbelievable - food is top notch. Cannot say enough good things about Secrets Maroma!
