Fantastic resort on all fronts. Wife and I arrived a few days early for a work related celebration trip. Instantly made to feel very welcome. The rooms and facilities are fantastic. The spa is gorgeous. The quality, range and availability of food was outstanding. The real stand out feature of the resort is the exemplary service, especially; Raymundo on the breakfast grill and Roberto Massimo and Antonio in the World Cafe Marcelo the concierge in building 16 All of the maitre d's at the restaurants Every staff member was unfailingly friendly and polite and never once gave the impression of hustling for tips. We miss them!

Just returned from a week’s stay. It was our second visit and was just as amazing. The facilities, staff and service cannot compare. Shout out to our building concierge Brandon. He delivered even though I kept changing my requests. More shout outs to pool servers, Gracie and Alberto. Always a smile on their face. Preferred club server Alfredo was outstanding and made our meals that much better with his service. Another shout out to Alexandra on the entertainment team. The Best of the best. Edy the pool concierge was also helpful every day. Housekeeping also does a great job. The only down side was we did not get to spend as much time at the beach as we would have liked due to the sargassum and despite the crew removing it all day long.

This is NOT a 5-star resort. Anyone claiming otherwise either has no idea what a real 5-star experience looks like or is deliberately misleading future guests. To be fair, the property itself is visually attractive. The layout, pools, and landscaping are very well done, and most of the staff members genuinely try hard to provide good service. Unfortunately, many of the resort’s core problems are well beyond the control of the employees. One thing that immediately set the tone for the stay was the aggressive sales culture. Shortly after arrival, guests are approached by resort salespeople pushing some vaguely defined “membership” program that they never properly explain in writing. It felt less like arriving at a luxury resort and more like walking into a timeshare sales operation. The biggest disappointment by far was the food quality. Aside from the breakfast buffet — which was decent but nowhere near exceptional — nearly every meal ranged from mediocre to outright awful. The pizza at the poolside grill was honestly close to inedible. The “lamb ossobuco” at the Italian restaurant was simply a bland lamb shank with none of the flavor, texture, or preparation you would expect from a restaurant claiming to offer upscale Italian cuisine. Most dishes across the resort were tasteless, poorly executed, and forgettable. Even more surprising was how mediocre the Mexican restaurant was. A 5-star resort in Mexico should at least be able to deliver good local cuisine, yet we routinely get significantly better Mexican food in the United States. The rooms created another major issue. While the air conditioning worked effectively, the units were extremely loud, even on the lowest setting. Combined with the very cheap, low-quality pillows, getting a decent night’s sleep became difficult throughout the stay. The beach itself was also disappointing. On most days, there were large amounts of seaweed in the water and along the shoreline. Bulldozers were operating on the beach almost constantly to clear it away. On one particularly bad day, two bulldozers worked nonstop for hours, completely ruining any sense of relaxation or tranquility. At the end of the day, this resort may work for travelers with very low expectations: people who mainly want to sit by the pool or in the pool all day, drink average alcohol, and eat mediocre food without caring much about quality. But if you are looking for a genuine 5-star experience with excellent dining, comfort, tranquility, and attention to detail, I strongly recommend avoiding this place.

Just returned from an incredible week at this resort. We loved our time there. We enjoyed excellent service throughout the resort and thought the food was the best we've ever had at an all inclusive. Our room was spacious and very clean. Our concierge, Hector, was very helpful and communicative and made our stay seamless. I also want to specifically mention the lovely woman who makes the omelettes at the buffet in the morning who was friendly, accommodating to all of the guests, and made the best omelettes I've had. The servers and waitstaff in all of the restaurants as well as the buffet were wonderful. We plan on returning to this resort again.

This is one of the best resorts I've ever stayed at in Mexico! And I vacation in Mexico about twice every year. 5 star all the way. Each and every staff member was excellent, friendly and helpful but I would like to specifically mention Hector (server at La Terrazza restaurant), Valeria and Angie at the front desk, Grecia (pool server), Ismar (oceana server), and Armando (Amstar rep at the front desk). They all made my stay exceptional! From the welcome champagne to the surprise customized celebratory cake at dinner from the staff this resort is top tier. I came on this trip alone to celebrate getting my dream job and throughout my stay the staff was congratulating me and making me feel special. The property is gorgeous and the attention to detail is something other resorts lack. Also, the quality of the food and drinks at this resort sets it apart from the rest. I never ate at a buffet here, the restaurants and chefs who work there deliver a luxury dining experience at every restaurant with amazing food. The best duck and octopus I've ever had. Also at the poolside restaurants and snack bars they make all the hot food as it's ordered, no buffets. I had an amazing and fresh chicken wrap. There was a woodfire pizza oven with amazing pizzas right by the pool. I also got room service for breakfast one morning and they brought it in and set it up on my balcony. Amazing! The infinity pool and the other pool are beautiful and so is the beach. There was a little sargassum but it's the high season for that in this area and i understand it. But every day they worked hard to remove what they could and the beach was still stunning with beautiful views of the blue water, soft white sand and nice tiki cabanas for shade and to put your things. They also have servers out there and by the pool bringing you drinks. The room was gorgeous, clean and comfortable. I felt that this resort truly thought of everything a guest may need or want and that's hard to do. Everything was 5 star and I will most definitely be back for a longer stay next time! Thank you for the wonderful experience!
