Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun

Excellent! We had a honeymoon to remember! Will definitely recommend and go back there! Food was across the board amazing, Himitsu being our favorite. Rooms were incredible- we had the junior swim out which was awesome to have a pool always at our convenience. Staff were all incredible and hospitable, all going above and beyond.

Secrets Maroma is a beautiful resort with amazing pools, restaurants, rooms, and amenities — but the best part by far is the staff. They made our trip so wonderful. Freddy and Alejandro in the World Cafe (mainly for breakfast and lunch) were PHENOMENAL! So friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They always went the extra mile to make each day start off in a special way for us. They could not have been better. We also loved Felix at the Pan-Asian restaurant and Salvatore in the Italian restaurant. Absolute all stars! Our concierge Angel also went out of his way to arrange a hospitality room for us so we could continue enjoying the resort after our check out and before departing. The housekeeping did a beautiful job every day, it really made our time feel extra luxurious at the resort. We couldn’t have had a better experience thanks to these amazing staff members!

Just returned from our fourth visit to Secrets Maroma Beach. We go to Cancun 2-3 times a year and Maroma has become our destination of choice. It is an amazing resort. We traditional get a Preferred Club Swim Out and love both the location and the amenities. Secrets always meets or exceeds expectations. Love the new feature of PC Breakfast at Oceana. Great menu and beautiful new dining space. Food throughout the resort was all delicious and beautifully presented. Special in countless ways. Lots of pool time with great service. The resort is our favorite after experiencing 30 + visits to Caribbean All Inclusive Resorts. Why? The staff. They are amazing and to mention a few. Julio-Manager of Preferred Club Beach Dinning and PC Breakfast at Oceana. His personal touch is always evident. It is a joy to see him and enjoy the service of his wonderful team. Margarita-Hostess for PC Beach Dining and Oceana Breakfast. She never ask our room after the first day and she repeatedly welcomed us like family. Alfredo and Manny – Servers at both PC dining locations. Fine young men, so friendly with great attention to detail. BRAVO! Roger – Concierge for Building 26. We didn’t stay in Bldg. 26 but saw Roger shortly after our arrival. He immediately remembered us from previous visits to Secrets, and he went out of his way to expedite access to our room even though it was in a different building. He is a gentleman by any measure. So sorry we didn’t get to be in his building Roberto- Concierge for Building 25. He was our “go to” for this visit. So nice and so eager to please. The bottom line...Secrets Maroma Beach is our preferred “home away from home.” We will be returning in August and October. Can’t wait!

Angel Lopez, our building 23 concierge was amazing! He checked with us every day, sending us the daily schedule for the resort. He was extremely responsive when we had questions and very proactive about arranging our luggage for pick up. It was my boyfriend's birthday, and Angel was awesome, and secretly arranged for the restaurant we ate at to give him a birthday song and dessert. Our stay at the hotel was great! No fault of the hotel, but it's high seaweed season in mid-June, so the beach wasn't as pristine as some of the pictures. Room (building 23) was great, the air conditioning never failed. We were a 3 min walk from the pool, a 5 min walk from the beach and an 1 min walk from the lobby/restaurants. Definitely recommend! We loved the tequila tasting!

As a fan of Secrets Resorts in general and having visited many over the last number of years this was our first trip to Secrets Maroma and it did not disappoint. Everything was faultless from the property, the rooms, the amenities, food and especially the staff. Service was consistently excellent, nothing was a problem and any requests were dealt with immediately and to the highest standard. Buffet breakfast in Market Cafe was good quality and huge variety. The staff on the omelette station were excellent and remembered our custom orders after day 1. Fresh orange juice was always cold and delicious and the coffee was great for an all inclusive buffet. Poolside pizza was great and there were so many different poolside buffet set ups during the week for lunch we were spoilt for choice. Every dinner restaurant we tried was also great, we ate in each one bar the Mexican which we just happened to miss out on. Again, no request was a problem at any time. The Entertainment Team was also fantastic and there was never a time to be bored if you were looking for activities as well as a daily set up of lawn games that you could play independently whenever you wished. Housekeeping staff were excellent and extremely friendly, the room was always spotless and well maintained. The gym was a bit small but very well equipped for any workout we needed to do which for us is either crossfit style or strength workouts and everything was achievable with some minor adaptations or imagination. I wish I had kept record of everyones name that I encountered as every staff member was truly excellent. Katya our concierge was great and again, nothing was a problem for her. Yenny from housekeeping was such a friendly face every day and really took care of our room. Jessica and all the wait staff in the lobby bar were excellent and made fantastic speciality Irish coffee for one of our group on a few occasions. Overall an excellent resort, if you've been to Secrets Akumal, Playa Blanca, Playa Mujeres or Moxche and enjoyed it you won't be disappointed here.
