Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun

This resort is absolutely beautiful! Clean, food is great and staff have been nothing short of amazing. Wildreth "Willy" was our pool waiter who was phenomenal, friendly and always on top of our drinks and food! He went above and beyond! Our concierge Roger was amazing as well. He made our stay easy and enjoyable, always greeting us and making sure we were taken care of. Eric was our bartender by the beach, he was hilarious and on point with the drinks! French cuisine has the best Bacon Wrapped filet and escargo. Italian was a favorite. Can't say anything negative about the restaurants. Entertainmemt was great! Definitely recommend this resort!

So a longer review is coming!! But we are staying in building 26 and our concierge Roger is amazing!!@ And the man who has made 2 of our days absolutely amazing is Willy ( Wilruth?)the beach server!!! He has made our trip amazing!!!!! Also Ruben the Barefoot grill chef is the MAN!!!

* One of the best resorts we have ever stayed at, offering fantastic views, excellent rooms, and exceptionally friendly, welcoming staff. The design of the hotel was impeccable, with careful attention to the details. * A resort we would happily return to if we visit Mexico again. * Outstanding restaurants, with the Japanese and Italian venues being particular highlights. * Impeccable room service and housekeeping that consistently exceeded expectations. * Fantastic pools with a great atmosphere created by the staff and entertainment team. * Special mention to Angel and Monica from the entertainment team: * Angel kept guests engaged with daily quizzes and activities around the pool. * Monica’s infectious energy encouraged participation in sports and group activities. * Excellent range of activities ensured there was never a dull moment, including: * Beach and pool volleyball * Pool basketball * Pool games * Sea kayaking * Nighttime entertainment was exceptional, with theatre shows and the Desire Club standing out. Other facilities that stood out were mini golf courses and other games and entertainment to keep guests entertained. The daily evening shows were also a great source of entertainment, and a lot of variation was offered. * Silent disco was a particular highlight, alongside a memorable karaoke performance. * The overall experience set such a high standard that it may be difficult to find another resort that compares.

We had purchased our membership with UVC while staying at the old Secrets Capri, but did the presentation/purchase at Secrets Maroma Beach - so we always wanted to come and visit and finally we did. Very glad we did - as Maroma is now our favorite Secrets resort of all. While we loved Moxche too, we found that the staff at Maroma anticipated every single want or need that we had - something we hadn't ever experienced before at any other Secrets. We'll be coming back soon!

My expectations were exceeded at Secrets Maromar Beach! It was my first trip to an all-inclusive resort so I wasn’t sure what to expect. The moment I pulled up to the front drive, I felt taken care of. Hector was our building’s concierge and he showed me everything I needed to know about the room and resort. He texted daily with all of the activities happening that day and kept in communication on his days off to let me who to contact in his absence. I was there for a wedding and our servers that night, Hugo and Gloria were truly amazing too. Everyone I passed and didn’t have interactions with was friendly and everyone I did interact with were very accommodating and super friendly. The pool servers and bartenders were fun and only added to an already amazing experience. I rented a cabana by the pool and felt like royalty! I highly suggest the same for anyone staying at the resort. The breakfast buffet was my absolute favorite and I’m not a big breakfast eater either but they have anything and everything you can imagine. Our server suggested the green juice and it was so tasty! I wish I knew his name but he was a breath of fresh air in the morning. The bell staff took great care of me upon arrival and departure. The front desk made me feel welcomed as soon as I sat down to check in. “Welcome home” was their message and I felt that! The room was spotless and turn down service every evening was a nice addition to already on top of it morning housekeeping staff. You will not be bored for a second with all of the planned activities onsite, from water aerobics and yoga to fire shows and fun shows in the evening. The beach was clean and well maintained by your staff with a nice walkway to avoid walking in the sand. They even have a machine to remove the sargassum on the shore. You can rent a cabana there too, which some friends did as well and it was very breezy. The wedding I attended was also on the beach and what a beautiful evening! I did not want to leave!!! Secrets Maromar Beach, thank you for exceeding my expectations! I’ll be back for sure!!!
