Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun

Stunning experience from start to finish! As our anniversary getaway this resort made sure to make it extra special! The beachfront Preferred Club stay is an absolute must! No question about it. If I had to choose differently next time, I might go with poolside instead of a plunge pool, but honestly, the plunge pool was still a great addition. The room was spotless, and the service truly went above and beyond in every way. It made the entire trip feel worth every penny. The beach was beautiful and felt almost private since it’s tucked at the edge, such a peaceful, exclusive vibe. When they say all-inclusive, they really mean it. This is definitely more of a couples-style resort, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The only small thing I’d change is having direct poolside access, but it’s honestly not a big deal at all! ESPECIALLY because the poolside cabanas are 100% worth every penny. I got one twice and would do it every single time. Kayaking is included in their itinerary and completely worth doing, no extra cost, which is a plus. The only money you’ll really need is for tipping (well deserved because the staff goes above and beyond) and for anything in the on-site shops. The food overall was about a 7.5/10, but there were definitely standout items. The steak tacos are a must! No skipping those. Preferred Club breakfast and lunch were consistently good and worth taking advantage of. And the pizza by the pool! So good it’ll have you coming back every single day. The wild animals will be very chill here, and to be honest not many. If you stay out their way and follow the rules of not feeding them, you will find them adorable and well behaved. They are lowkey more scared of you, than you are of them. So no worries there. The Asian restaurant was hands down the best on the property! And I have to give a special shoutout to Brandon (concierge), Andres (Coco Café), and Antonio (Preferred Beach Club night shift). They truly made the experience even more memorable. That said, every single staff member, from the moment you arrive to housekeeping delivers excellent service. And most importantly, safety! Definitely felt that throughout the entire trip! With numerous gateways to access the resort and ongoing K-9s passing as guards. You will barely notice they are there but you will feel the comfort. Highly recommend and would absolutely come back!

This was the best resort I have ever been to! Food was the best I have ever had! Service was top-notch, thank you to Marcelo our concierge, all of the servers were so friendly, we loved Gabriela and Carlos, but every single person was a delight. The pools were beautiful and fun. We only got to use the ocean for one day due to the sargassum, but there is so much to do, we just rolled with it. I loved having live music during breakfast and dinner. The grounds were stunning. We did the preferred club but not sure if it was necessary, our room was beautiful with an ocean view. This was worth every penny and we are already planning our next trip back! One small thing we did not like was a rep trying to pitch us the UVC package upon arrival, after a 6 hour flight, I just wanted to get to my room. But thank you Secrets Maroma, we will be back!

Beautiful resort only 30 minute drive from the airport. Lots of palm trees and beautiful flowers. The most beautiful beach I’ve been to in Mexico. Great service good food and the resort never felt crowded despite being busy. Will most definitely return and recommend!

We had an awesome experience at Secrets Maroma Beach. We were a group of 9 couples, with many of us celebrating our 60th birthday. Karen Ramirez, (lobby concierge) was a wonderful partner in preparing for our trip to the resort and throughout our stay. She helped us arrange for a special dinner for the group on the beach, and went above and beyond with welcome treats and special greeting cards (unique to our goofy group) in our suites. Everyone was blown away with the personalized special touches and the dinner on the beach. The resort itself had great food, great entertainment, and thankfully was not a "spring break" vibe. It was adults only, with plenty to do, and plenty of fun, but also not so crazy that you couldn't nap by the pool or beach, or read a book. We had swim out suite and glad we paid the bit extra to have it. Everyone in the group said they would go back.

Very nice experience There is a wide variety of daily activities. I recommend making the drive or taking a cab to Cirque de Soleil Joya if possible as well.
