Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun

The resort is very nice and well kept. Everything worked. Service is great everywhere. Partial ocean view has no ocean views. Huge hot tub occupied large portion of the room. Not sure if people use it, I sure didn’t and would prefer room without it. There is no reservations for restaurants which is nice in principle. But when told there is over an hour wait for French restaurant ( many people highly recommended it) we settled for Mexican. Again service was excellent, food not so much. Very bland, had to ask for salt/pepper and some hot sauce. Guacamole is just mashed avocado. No salt, lime or cilantro. Disappointing. Buffet was great for lunch, didn’t try breakfast but everyone else enjoyed it . I would love dinner buffet offered. Entertainment was superb. Live music and silent disco was great. Now, the biggest disappointment is the beach. Unbelievable amount of seaweed. They tried hard to clean it up, but it’s mission impossible. And the smell is strong and nauseating at times. Pools are beautiful and well kept. But because no one could be at the beach pools were overcrowded and it was impossible to find shady lounges after 8. I am a beach bum and if you are not you will enjoy the resort. So it’s depends what’s your priorities when it comes to all inclusive. I would not come back, at least in the summer.

I went with my husband and we had a wonderful stay at Secrets Maroma. The service was fantastic and all the staff were very helpful, friendly and went above and beyond for us at all times. Our personal concierge Marco offered exceptional service and let us know daily of all the activities and events happening each day. The service at the pools was top notch and they made our days relaxing and enjoyable. We’ve been to several Secrets Resorts and this one by far was the best. We will definitely be back. We recently stayed at Secrets Maroma Beach and had a wonderful all-inclusive resort experience. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Carmen, who brought us champagne at check-in. We had met Carmen during a previous visit two years ago, and it was such a nice personal touch that she remembered who we were. Our building concierge, Francia, was also outstanding and took care of anything we threw her way. I looked forward to her morning texts each day, which gave us the details of what was happening around the resort and helped us make the most of our stay. Each morning began at World Cafe, where almost everything seemed to be an option and there was always a great way to start the day. Roberto “the machine” was our guy and made sure we had everything we needed. He clearly enjoyed his job, and it showed in the energy and care he brought each morning. Most days, we found ourselves spending time around the pool, which quickly became one of the highlights of the trip. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and we especially enjoyed meeting and interacting with other guests throughout the day. Another special part of this visit was reconnecting with Alberto, a pool staff members we had met during a previous stay. Marvin, another pool server, also did an excellent job keeping us hydrated and comfortable with his prompt, attentive service. The food across the different restaurants was excellent, which made each evening feel like a special part of the vacation. In particular, the French and Italian restaurants stood out as favorites, with memorable meals and a quality that exceeded what we typically expect from an all-inclusive resort. After dinner, we would typically head to the lobby for one last cocktail and to enjoy the evening entertainment. Estrella was our person each evening she worked, and what a joy she is. She helped make those evenings feel even more special, and we look forward to seeing her again on a future visit. The staff truly make a huge difference in the guest experience at this resort. Many of them mentioned that they had worked there for multiple years, which says a lot. It certainly appears that Secrets management takes care of their team, and that sense of pride and continuity comes through in the way guests are treated. Overall, Secrets Maroma Beach offered the perfect mix of relaxation, great food, and a friendly social atmosphere. We left with very positive memories and would gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, adults-only getaway with excellent dining and an enjoyable pool scene. It was exactly what we were hoping for and the reason why we continue to come back each year.

We had the best time EVER! It was relaxing, beautiful, accommodating and overall amazing. For the price, we were astonished with the amount of amenities and service the resort had. The hospitality was top notch, the food was phenomenal, and the resort was picture perfect. We enjoyed the pool side beds, the spa experience, and our beautiful swim out room. The location was perfect, and it was peaceful and quiet. The room was always clean and beds made and turned down each day. Room service 24/7 was an unexpected treat. We wanted for nothing, didn’t need to lift a finger and came home as relaxed as ever. Time to hire a butler lol! Thank you for the amazing and wonderful memories we have from our honeymoon. We will never forget our trip.

My Husband and I love to vacation at Secrets Resorts. We love the all inclusive experience , the events , the entertainment and the staff. Maroma was a great choice this year. By day 2 of 7 staff had our names and celebration memorized. Our Concierge Bramdon Gomez went above and beyond daily to make sure we were happy and comfortable. Our Pool Cabana attendant Ana was so sweet and attentive. Manny the pool concierge also made sure we were always taken care of. Sadly we didn’t get to enjoy the beach due to heavy seaweed but it didn’t stop us from parasailing and enjoying the resorts pool. My husband and I travel often and have busy schedules so it’s always such a treat to disconnect and relax. The staff at Secrets Maroma Beach made this another memorable vacation for the books!
