This place is absolutely amazing...the top notch staff literally slather you with hospitality from the moment you step onto the property until the second you leave...they truly live by the motto of "Welcome Home"!

All in one place if I say beach, atmosphere, rooms or food, it would be great, but we talk about friendly treatment and more, that is Maroma, I am sure we will return on another occasion.

This place was amazing! Beautiful resort and beach, rooms, decor, entertainment, and mostly the service. Roger Arroyo was our Concierge and he helped with anything we needed and always with a smile, it was wonderful to have someone to go ask about anything we may need and or help make plans for our days, he was awesome. Our Housekeeping and snack re-stocker never missed a beat- we had turn down service nightly which was wonderful to return to after our evenings out-very clean rooms and refreshments stocked with what we liked. The pool side staff Dario, Ana, Julio and Catalina were amazing and always checking in on what we needed, bringing amazing drinks, and Isimar provided wonderful service while we had a Cabana for the day. Swim up bar Ariel, Toro and Elician were exciting to watch and the amount of drinks and requests- they never missed a beat and laughed and talked with everyone. Poolside food was wonderful with the grill and the pizza station, with the pizza cook helping me work on my spanish (did not get his name). Wait staff who ensured our romantic evening meals wonderful are Felipe from Portofino, Javany from La Terraza, and Francisco who was our cook from the teppanyaki grill- i do not remember the waiter's name but he was awesome too. Preferred Breakfast Alfredo and Armando made our start of the day positive with good food and service and Armando even brought a special token to our meal the final morning. Andrea in the spa gave a fabulous massage!!! Special pool day excitement with grills and coconut/pineapple drink days and fruit carts and ice cream carts. Music and entertainment staff were great! Groundskeeping staff always working hard to keep the resort beautiful and also were so friendly as we walked by always saying hello......This will be a vacation to remember because of all the wonderful staff- all so friendly and helpful!!

The service is only good when you tip and on top of that I can’t tell you enough to not become a member of UVC. They just want you to buy a better package everytime you come and then when you don’t get what you paid for they’ll tell you that you need to get the next package up.

My husband & I visited Maroma for the first time June 11-16. Check-in was very quick & off to our Junior Suite Ocean View room building 14/ room 1449. Very cute spacious rooms. Only complaint about the room was the pillows.. which I should’ve asked for a new one(s) after one night but.. Hector did learn of my neck bothering me last day & had an orthopedic pillow delivered. Thanks Hector :) We enjoyed the main pool, all of the staff at the pool from pool concierges to wait staff were excellent. Ice cream cart that goes around is a nice touch. Didier on the entertainment team was very nice & helpful. Our last full day we did miss out on snagging a good seat early but they did bring more chairs and set up a little bit away from the pool, ended up at preferred beach club on the beach & glad we did. Nice to sit & listed to the waves. Seaweed this time of year just happens & not the resorts fault. They do constantly try to clean it up/ remove it. Loved the restaurants we tried while here. Bordeaux (French) was tasty, recommend the ratatouille (yum!) & the crème brûlée was very good. Portofino had good lasagna, Oceana with the breeze was quite enjoyable, had the coconut shrimp & mussels. El Patio (Mexican) was one of our favorites. My husband loved the shrimp entree & I had the melted cheese (queso fundido) & pozole (very good!). Brenda at the Mexican restaurant was very sweet. We loved Freddy (& other staff) at the World Market buffet at breakfast & lunch. So much good food at the buffet to be had. Several stations made to order as well. The Mexican Dinner & Show evening is so much fun! Vendors set up with neat items for sale as well, Churros were soooo good! The Fire Show was one of the best we’d seen also. Excellent! Thanks to everyone here for helping us to have a great trip. :)
