Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun

We just stayed at Secrets Maroma Beach and had an incredible experience. The accommodations were beautiful and well-maintained, and the Preferred Club upgrade was absolutely worth it for the added amenities and elevated service. We arrived on a Wednesday and left on Sunday, but if I were to do it again, I would book Friday to Tuesday instead. Most room turnover seems to happen on Sunday and Monday, and avoiding those peak check-in days would make the stay even smoother and more relaxing. The service truly set this resort apart. Our concierge, Roberto, was exceptional—he went above and beyond to make sure every detail was handled for us and genuinely made our stay feel special. Our dinner at the Italian restaurant was a highlight of the trip. Daniel, the manager, and our waiter Hector created one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. From the personalized wine selection to a special anniversary dinner, it was unforgettable. The property is stunning, the beach is gorgeous, and the drinks were consistently great. Overall, we would absolutely recommend Secrets Maroma Beach and would happily return.

Our experience was amazing! The food from the dinner restaurants was outstanding and I’ve never had so much amazing food. The drinks were excellent and the service on the beach or near the pool was always timely and the staff was very kind. The beach was always very clean and the best beach we have seen from a resort in years. Everything was very clean including the rooms and anywhere else you went on the resort. The spa was very luxurious and worth it for the facial and massage. The spa staff were great. Our concierge, Roberto, was absolutely amazing and the best concierge we have ever had. He went above and beyond for all of us and always remembered who we were and was easy to have a conversation with. He made us feel comfortable to talk to him right from the start and made sure everything was always taken care of so that we never had to worry about a thing. Overall I would 100% recommend this resort to all our friends and family.

The preferred rooms were beautiful however the master suite was prime location. Steps to the beach, large sitting area. Roberto the concierge for the preferred suites goes above and beyond for his guests. Called us by name everyday and insured we had everything we needed. The resort was clean and beautiful and the food was delicious. The beach was clean, no moss, beautiful sand, and with preferred suites you get top service on the beach with plenty of chairs and beverages.

We had a great time and really love Sectets! Food was great, service was excellent, and rooms were really clean and updated. Felipe was our concierge and was outstanding!

This resort is easy to get around, is filled with the most helpful friendly staff and nice rooms. Beach & pools fabulous. We arrived via private transportation through Amstar. We were greeted with welcoming smiles and escorted to our check-in. This process was short and easy. We were early so we went for lunch down by the beach until our room was ready. This gave us time to explore the area a little. Our room on the fourth floor of building 26 was very nice. We could see the ocean and pool. However the vegetation is significant and does hide quite a bit. The room was bright and clean. Very nicely appointed with robes, hair dryer and soaps. Lots of water and things to drink in the fridge. We like to request coffee be delivered to our room every day about 6:00am and sure enough it arrived timely between 5:45 and 6. They left it in our “secret box” so there was no need to get up and answer the door. We really appreciated this. Secrets Maroma had plenty of loungers and towels. No need to play the lounger game but I am up early and would go down anyway. They do have a strict rule that if you’re going to take loungers early then return within the hour or risk losing your stuff to lost and found. Only fair as some people reserve and never return. We never failed to take full advantage of our loungers and very much appreciated the pool management and servers who always worked to make your stay most comfortable. They treat each patron as if they were the only or the favourite. This is hard to do but they have mastered it wonderfully. The beach is beautiful. Mostly flat and easy to run and walk on. The water was warm and offered a wonderful experience. The food here was very good. Each of the restaurants offered an abundance of options. A little of something for everyone. We don’t eat a lot of food at one sitting but we found the portions ample and we always knew we could order more. You won’t be disappointed by the food here in our view. We chose the preferred option at the resort and our building had a concierge who help with anything we needed or wanted. Generally their desk is near the elevator. They can’t do enough for you. Thank you to our concierge, Roger and Bramdon. The little things you did for us were so appreciated. Thank you. We look forward to returning again. We met new friends who we’ll stay in touch with and the resort staff we met we already miss as we arrived home.
