​Our wedding anniversary stay at Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Maya (Preferred Club) was nothing short of perfection. While the stunning beach and top-tier amenities made for an incredible getaway, the staff truly elevated our vacation from great to extraordinary. Their attentiveness, genuine warmth, and exceptional customer service set a new standard for resort hospitality. ​We want to extend a special, personal thank you to several team members who went above and beyond to make our trip unforgettable: ​Room Concierge Marcelo: Thank you for anticipating our every need. Every request was handled effortlessly and with a warm smile, keeping our schedule completely stress-free. While we were at the beach on our anniversary, Marcelo surprised us by decorating our room with a door banner, rose petals on the bed, and a thoughtful, handwritten card. ​Beach Concierge Luis and Beach Cabana Waiters Miguel "Mikey" and Gaspar: Your cheerful energy and exceptional attention to detail made our beach days so special. On our anniversary, Luis surprised us at our cabana with espresso martinis and a gift bag of Mexican coffee beans. His prompt service and friendly conversations made relaxing by the water an absolute pleasure. ​Housekeeping & Mini-Bar Team: A special thank you to Noemi in housekeeping and Humberto on mini-bar service. Noemi kept our room spotless and fresh, while Humberto noticed our favorite snacks and beverages and kept them generously stocked without us even having to ask. Exemplary service from both! ​Main Lobby Bar: Felipe provided an elevated, unforgettable experience. His deep knowledge of Mexican tequilas turned late-afternoon drinks into a masterclass in mixology, and his custom cocktail creations were the highlight of our evenings. His passion, sophistication, and warm hospitality represent the absolute best of five-star service. ​Every employee we encountered treated us like VIPs, ensuring no detail was overlooked. The Preferred Club experience, paired with this world-class team, made this one of the most relaxing and luxurious vacations we have ever taken. ​We are already counting down the days until our return to paradise. It was such an amazing 6 days. My wife and I have been married for decades and this was the best tropical vacation we’ve ever experienced. And we’ve been to Mexico and the Caribbean numerous times. From the very moment we arrived on the property to the time we departed, everything was 5-Stars: from the all rooms and facilities, to the food and the cleanliness, from the spa to the beach, and yes, there was a large amount of seaweed, but put that on Mother Nature not the resort. They did everything possible to immediately clean it up on a daily basis. Secrets delivered very prompt and attentive and respectful customer service. If you go, get the Preferred Club, you won’t be disappointed with the amenities, the service and exclusivity. Our concierge, Roberto, anticipated our every need and wherever/whenever we needed service he was there to provide it. The pampering was exquisite. The only problems we had were with our door locks and our keys not working, but when we reported it, the problems were fixed immediately by security. Oh yeah, there was a problem with tropical knats/bugs interfering with the outdoor buffet for the fire show that was put a damper on the evening for me. Otherwise, we can’t wait to book our next trip to this beautiful resort. Do yourself and significant other a favor and go to Secrets Maroma Beach. We were so impressed we’re considering becoming Secrets Members to take advantage of the other Secrets branded resorts. we had other guests share with us how much they enjoyed having a membership in the Secrets Resorts Brand

If I could leave 10 stars for this place, I would. Everything about my weeklong stay was fantastic - from the gorgeous room and awesome restaurants, to the engaging activities and amazing shows each night. But nothing, and I mean nothing, compares to how incredible the staff is. I travel quite often, and I can say with full confidence that I have not been to a resort with better staff, anywhere else in the world. People like my amazing concierge, Francia, went above and beyond to made me feel so safe and cared for. I had so much fun doing dance class with Uriel and karaoke with Angel (aka Brown Sugar lol!). I really valued chatting with Alejandra by the pool and doing archery for the first time. And Danny helped me polish off my spanish in the most fun 1:1 spanish lesson! I wish I could remember every single person's name, especially the waitstaff who served drinks at the pool in the scorching heat and housekeeping who kept my space spotless and prepared bubble baths for me each night. All that said, thank you to every single person at Secrets Maroma. I teared up leaving as they truly were my home away from home during a challenging time in my life. I am grateful.

We have traveled to Secrets of Maroma many times since 2009. It’s our favorite beach destination. The service is 5 star quality, the entire team is outstanding in providing for our every want.💖. The grounds are kept immaculate & the cleanliness of the rooms is outstanding. The staff goes above & beyond in making sure our vacation is noteworthy. We highly recommend this beach resort. We will continue to travel to Secrets of Maroma as much as possible.

Get the Tropical view room and save your money. The Ocean view rooms are a lie unless you get the preferred club. And even then its a stretch.
