I went with my girlfriend, and we had an incredible time. Memories that are still helping me get through the work week after getting back. Our concierge Marco made us feel right at home in our building and took care of our needs. The staff was great and fun to speak with, even though I can only speak a little bit of Spanish. Drinks were great, as was the food. None of the staff expected tips, which made tipping them so easy. I would definitely go back to this resort.

We went for our honeymoon, 10 days in paradise. The location is great, just a 30-45 minute drive from Cancún and right on its own, private, white sand beach. The resort is beautiful, with a grand and stylish lobby, tropical gardens and trees everywhere, large rooms with great views of the gardens or the sea. As our room wasn't too far from the theatre, we could hear some noise coming from the evening shows, but nothing too crazy and they finish at 10pm anyway so didn't affect our sleep. Everything is meticulously maintained by the staff. The food was excellent at each of the 7 restaurants on site, as well as at the poolside grill and pizzeria. They also put on a different themed, street food-style stand every lunch time. Our favourite was the Mexican one, where they had tacos al pastor with freshly made corn tortillas, as well as freshly made churros, absolutely unreal! There's also a nice cafe where we went and got coffee and pastries every morning. We couldn't quite believe how good the food was, especially considering it's all inclusive (rare and exclusive wines aside). The staff make a real effort to keep things fun and exciting, with shows, sport and games happening every day which guests can participate in, or not, it's entirely up to you. I played beach volleyball every day which was great fun, and helped make room for more of the delicious food! I have to mention the staff too, what an absolute joy they are. Everyone will smile and greet you as you pass, and are always more than willing to have a chat or help with something. Special mention to Emi from the entertainment team, and Alberto, who worked at the pool and beach side bars. They made us feel really welcome, and made the effort to learn our names. It was great for me too as they were more than happy to converse with me in Spanish, which I really appreciated. Overall, I think this resort has ruined all inclusive for us going forward, as I really don't see how it can get any better. Yes it is expensive, but for the level of luxury, quality, and relaxation we were able to indulge in, it was well worth the expense, and made our honeymoon that little bit more special.

Amazing time. Service was great Katya our concierge made sure we took full advantage of all the amenities well she took care of us,housekeeping and restocking of the bar cleanliness of the room was top-notch. Food was amazing as the serving staff entertainment more than expected beverages and pool site service unheard of.

We just spent a week at Secrets Maroma Beach, and had a fantastic time. This was our first visit to an all-inclusive resort, and we stayed in a preferred suite. The first few days we were trying to find our footing, but once we settled into a routine of sitting poolside in the morning and having multiple drinks at the swim-up bar we had a great time. I am a big fan of Rum drinks, and the bartenders were up to the challenge of my off menu requests. They were extremely friendly and were very interested in each guest getting what they wanted. Then, at dinner time we kept going back to El Patio as we could not get enough quality Mexican food. We tried to get a different item on the menu each time, but the enchiladas were hard to pass up so those kept appearing on our table (and fun fact, you can get a fresh order using room service for breakfast even!). All the employees were so nice and we can't wait to go back.

Wow! Secrets Maroma is one of the best resorts I have ever stayed at. From the very first moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make sure all of our needs were met. The resort is beautiful, the restaurants were fantastic, and most of all, the staff is wonderful. I hope we can return one day soon.
