Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun

This was our second visit to Secrets Maroma Beach. It was as amazing and memorable as the first visit. Our concierge, Guillermo, made sure all of our needs were taken care of and Nora and Humberto made sure our room was always in order and felt like home. The food was great, the service was spot on, and the spa was fantastic. My wife and I were there for a conference, with enough free time to enjoy the resort, and we can't wait to go back!

The hotel was lovely and we had a beautiful stay. Staff is incredibly attentive and customer service is top tear. I would like to give a special mention to the entertainment crew that made our vacation so much more enjoyable, especially to Isabel and Oscar who were so nice and made the difference in our stay. I would also like to thank Daniel, Alejandra, and Omar for their special care during activities. Overall great experience!

One of the best five star hotels I have stayed at . And I am well travelled . Food is excellent , staff fantastic and so helpful , lovely place to stay , eat and be entertained . The gardens are kept in fantastic condition, with a beach that is probably the best I have ever seen & walked on , soft (egg timer like sand ) , that are combed daily ready for games and water sports . The sea is so clean and easy to get into , we spent hours in the water swimming and with the Catamaran which was included & located with the water sports team on the beach . The drinks were amazing and top quality with bars all around the hotel , pools and beach area . The hotel even had a top quality coffee shop which was all included and used by us daily .most of the swim up pools are in the shade , so we were happy that we didn’t pay extra for one . Food options were French , Italian , pizza oven , seafood restaurant , grill and even a Japanese which was our least favourite of all . A great place to stay . Our only negative was the conference people which made it overcrowded and very loud at times and spoilt it for the couples on holiday at times . Ask the hotel before you book to save spoiling your stay .

Absolutely fabulous holiday at Secrets Maroma. Couldn’t fault this hotel. The service from the staff is exceptional, they are happy to cater to your every need, nothing is too much trouble. Our concierge was Francia in block 20, she was super lovely. really helpful and professional and couldn’t do enough for us. We made full use of the restaurants, there are a huge range of à la carte and we liked the fact you didn’t need to reserve. Our highlights were the Italian and French restaurants where the food and service were extra special (shout out to Domingo is Le Bordeaux, he was fabulous). We paid for the premium Teppanyaki which was amazing, included scallop, lobster, ribeye steak and duck, would recommend this as a little treat. There is a lot of effort put into keeping guests entertained, a full day of activities by the team who are so friendly, funny and up for a laugh and then some excellent shows on an evening. There were some extra special bits for us - the beach area is sensational, the carts that go around the pool with ice cream, fruit, food, mixologists, the guys who clean your sunglasses, Coco cafe where the coffee and cakes are to die for. All little extras that put this place head and shoulders above other Mexico hotels we have been to. We would highly recommend and would return in a heart beat.

By far the nicest and most luxurious resort we have ever stayed at. We have visited several other Secrets resorts over the years, and Secrets Maroma Beach stands head and shoulders above the rest. The beach is absolutely stunning—powdery white sand and crystal-clear water as far as you can swim. It’s truly postcard perfect. Every aspect of the resort exceeded our expectations, from the food and service to the beautiful grounds and nightly entertainment. The staff deserves special recognition. They were top notch in every way—attentive, professional, and genuinely caring. Room service was incredibly fast, and anytime we needed something, it was handled immediately. One evening my wife unfortunately came down with a stomach bug, and the level of care we received was remarkable. Room service went out of their way to prepare a special meal for her and even brought crackers and ginger ale to our room. Our concierge, Roberto, was absolutely tremendous. He helped coordinate everything for my wife and showed a level of care and consideration that we have never experienced before in all of our travels. Roberto is hands down the best concierge we have ever had. We would recommend Secrets Maroma Beach to anyone—young or old—looking for a truly luxurious, relaxing, and unforgettable vacation. We cannot wait to return.
