Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun

Lives up to its 5 star rating, Wonderful resort close but not to close to Cancun staff was great and just a top notch beach. Will go again with more family!

Our concierge Felipe Cruz was amazing. Always made sure we were fine and if we needed anything. Location was beautiful and our room was nice with the preferred swim out pool. Food was delicious.

The moment we walked into the lobby we were greeted instantly by the most professional polite staff. Instructions for checking in were easy to come by. Once at our building we met our concierge Felipe who was phenomenal during our entire stay always checking in either in person or through text messaging always providing us with the best quality service. 10/10 loved every minute on the resort everyone was so friendly we absolutely will be back !!

Incredible service, great food, beautiful rooms. Spotless clean facilities, spa experience was great, beds were comfortable. Everything was elegantly designed, down to the fresh smell in the lobby areas and spa and the meticulous upkeep of the beach and pool areas. The restaurant in the main pool area was under renovation unfortunately, but we still had more restaurant choices than we could get to during our stay, with some fun entertainment, too. Our concierge in building 25 (Roger) was a bright spot in our trip, always going out of his way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. I can’t wait to go back.

Me and my fiancé have just got home from the most amazing holiday to Secrets Maroma. The location was great, not far from the airport. The hotel itself situated on the beach was perfect. We had read about seaweed being an issue but the beach was beautiful and this was not a problem at all. The atmosphere was so friendly, guests and staff at the hotel were gorgeous. We are a same sex couple and this was our first trip abroad together, we were not sure of the reception but were very happy this was not made an issue at all. We actually got engaged on this trip and the staff were so kind and happy for us. Staff couldn’t do enough for our entire trip. We stayed in room 2421 which was equal distance from reception/restaurants and beach, and right by the pools. Our room was unbelievable. Clean and spacious, it was beautiful. Just remember to turn DND light off when you go out, one day we missed clean up service in the day for this reason. We did a day trip to Isla mujeres which we booked with the Cancun sailing company on the beach at our hotel. The Catamaran boat was so fun and worth the money alone. Isla mujeres itself was overcrowded and we were a bit underwhelmed but glad we tried it. The restaurants we all lovely. The French and Asian restaurants were our favourite for evening meals but the world cafe breakfasts and lunchs were unbelievable too. As was the seaside cafe and pizza/salad bar poolside. We had read about construction on site but we did not notice any noise and it didn’t affect our stay at all. We have booked to return next year and are looking forward to seeing the refurbished area. Price wise we thought this was incredible. This holiday was a dream from start to finish and we are so excited to return.
