Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun

This was our first visit here, but it certainly won’t be our last! From start to finish, everything about this property exceeded our expectations - the food was great, the beach is stunning and well kept, and literally every staff member we interacted with was genuinely kind, attentive, and very customer focused (special shout out to Mateo, Manny and staff at the Preferred Club restaurant who provided such wonderful service!). Despite being at full occupancy during our visit, the property never felt overwhelming or crowded, and we were able to easily find great pool or beach seats at any hour of the day. Our experience was made even more memorable by our concierge, Guillermo, who was truly exceptional and took care of all our needs to ensure the stay was enjoyable. 10/10! Book the trip!

It was our 8th stay and absolutely incredible. It is a jewel this place and you’ll be hooked forever. The beach is stunning and every meal was delicious. All the staff go above and beyond - special mention to Roger Arroyo, Erica Reis, Hugo the Beach Concierge and Alberto the beach waiter. Also Erik at pool bar & also Alberto. Felipe in Himatsu. Jesca in Preferred Club lounge lovely too as are those we cannot name - from the gardeners to the people who clean the beach chairs end of day an of course every chef and housekeeping. Abel on check in and also Denisse in Reservations. Mateo, Alfredo and all the guys at Preferred breakfast. Can’t wait to return one day!

The rooms were immaculate, and the atmosphere was lovely across the resort and especially at the beach. The only drawback, which is the case for many all inclusive resorts is that the food could be average or very good, but not consistent across the resort’s restaurants.

Our room was excellent, very well maintained and clean. The entire resort was kept in immaculate condition, the food was excellent. Each building has a concierge. Ours was a young man named Angel. Through our entire stay he made sure we had everything we could possibly want or need. Our transport was the typical small bus that shuttles people to and from the airport.

Absolutely incredible experience! The resort is the perfect size with everything being about a 5 minute walk. The pool area is a great size with both a heated and unheated pool making it convenient to both lounge and/or cool off on extra hot days. We enjoyed all the food here barring a couple oddball items. Standout dishes were the shrimp tostada at Seaside Grill, the Filet Mignon at Bordeau, the corn soup at El Patio, and the mixed skewers at the Mediterranean pop-up. Drinks were great as well - honestly there are few places in the entire resort where you can hide from the bar staff who are always friendly and come by frequently to take drink orders. The beach is beautiful and large enough to enjoy a nice walk along. Seating at the beach was typically easy to find and the sun covers are big enough to provide plenty of shade - perfect for spending the day reading a good book. Overall, I have no complaints and I would strongly recommend Secrets Maroma to couples looking for a relaxing getaway.
