Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun

This was our 2nd stay at Secrets Maroma Beach, and we can’t wait for our third. This place excels in quality and service. Check-in was perfect, we opted for a Preferred OV room and had a room on the 3rd floor. The view was perfect as was the location. Within minutes of being brought to our room our Concierge Roger came to our room to introduce himself. We had him last year and were fortunate to have him again. He is an asset to the Secrets’ family, and they are lucky to have him. His customer service is exceptional, and no request was too much. Our mornings started at Seaside Grill where we were so happy to see Gabriella. She recognized us immediately last year and came over to our table to say hello. Her customer service is superior. She does an outstanding job in the Seaside restaurant in the morning and then at lunch at Oceanna. Some of our favorite waiters were in these areas Mateo, Phillipe and David. The staff does an amazing job, and service was always on point. We spent our days at the pool. Service was outstanding as were the drinks. The live entertainment was one of the highlights for us. The pool is spacious and we never had an issue getting a lounger. We enjoyed the pizza a couple days from the Barefoot Grill. Maroma has the edge on the pizza compared to other Secrets we have stayed at. The staff and the management in the pool are amazing. The Prefer Lounge at night was a must. With premium tequila, phenomenal service and great snacks. Juan and Neydi were outstanding. They were always pleasant and attentive. This was a definite stop each night. No reservations work for us for dinner. We never had to wait more than 10 minutes if we waited at all. We were happy to experience El Patio for the last time; we visited them their last night. This was always one of our favorites at Maroma, but I’m sure the new and improved French and Italian will be beautiful. We ate at Bordeaux which is temporarily in the buffet area. They did a great job making this a beautiful spot to enjoy your la carte dinner until the renovations are complete. Himiitsu was delicious as usual. Seaside in the evening with Alberto was fantastic. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. The food and the service made this one of our favorite spots on this visit. We must give a shout out to the Lobby Bar and the staff. We loved the live music at night and the staff are incredible in this area. Everything is within walking distance, and it was nice to stroll through the resort and see everything this place had to offer. If you’re a foodie and enjoy premium alcohol with premium service this is the place for you. We cannot wait to return. Thank you, Secrets Maroma Beach, for making this an amazing vacation!

We recently returned from another wonderful two week stay at Secrets Maroma. I can’t say enough about how incredible the resort and the staff are. Yes, there were some ongoing renovations but it was a total non-issue in relation to enjoying our vacation. Yes, there is sargassum, however, that area isn’t nearly as bad as further south and the clean up (if needed, because it doesn’t come in every day) starts with proper equipment before the sun is even up. We spend all day, every day, at the beach and it was amazing. I was once again there to celebrate my birthday, and this year was a “big” one. I was overwhelmed by the attention and kindness of the staff, who, after coming to this resort 6 times, have become like family. We shared many conversations and laughter – I felt very, very loved! This will be a long list of staff who made an impact on us, but I would be remiss to leave anyone out who helped make our vacation so incredible. It started months before we arrived with work behind the scenes to ensure our requests were noted and put in place – Estafani Rodriguez (estefani.rodriguez@secretsresorts.com) Sales Associate and dear friend, made sure everything about our reservation was perfect! Abel at Preferred Check In made things easy and had us on our way and in our room in no time. Being in Building 26 with concierge Roger was once again a treat – nothing was too big or too small for him to take care of on our behalf. And while Bramden from Building 15 was not our concierge, he is our friend from past trips and he still went out of his way to do things for us and make our trip special – we loved our long conversations down at the beach! We come to simply relax on the beach, go for walks and read books, walk through the pool to cool off periodically. The Beach and Pool Concierges are so much fun and so helpful! Franco (thanks for the special sign for Palapa 34  ), Hugo and Manny (special delivery mimosas!), Mauricio, Jose, Eddy and Ezekiel. Thank you!! Beach waiters kept us well hydrated – special thanks to Balbina! We start our days early and really appreciate that we can go for breakfast at 6:30am. Hostess Berenice always greeted us by name and with a smile, and the waiters are second to none – special thanks to Roberto and Freddy. Can’t imagine a visit to the World Café without them! We loved the newly renovated Seaside Restaurant where we ate lunch many of the days. The staff there are super special to us from our past visits – Manager Gabriella and Itzel, waiters Carlos, David, Amand and Filipe. We also really enjoyed having access to the Preferred restaurant for lunch on this trip – thank you to manager Julio as well as waiters Manny and Alexis and everyone else, for outstanding service. Portofino and Bordeaux were being renovated so they were set up inside the World Café in the evenings. It is a brilliant alternative and we loved the ambience and of course the food! Both restaurants have absolutely lovely hostesses who made us feel so welcome – Daniela at Portofino and Nicoletta at Bordeaux. Bordeaux is extra special to us because of food and beverage manager Veronica, who always ensured our meals were perfect, even bringing fresh flowers to enjoy at our table. Shout out to Melenie and Pablo, waiters extrordinaire! We had our dinner there on our last night, and we were celebrated by Veronica, as well as Jessica, Food and Beverage concierge and “big boss” Rodrigo. It honestly felt like being a celebrity – thank you so much to them and to every staff member at both of these restaurants! We also absolutely love Himitsu and ate there often. Lovely hostess Roxanna shares my birthday and she went out of her way to make mine special :) Waiters Antonio, Gerson, Darwin, Felipe and the rest of the gang were engaging and welcoming. Chef Francisco worked his magic with some special dishes. We had my actual birthday dinner here and it was sensational – thank you to everyone!! Getting to see our wonderful friends who work in the lobby bar is always a highlight – both personally and also being able to be served so well! Jessica, Carmen, Estrelle, Clarri and Neydi, we love you!! Special thanks to Entertainment Team member Alejandra – your attention and care to make our trip extra special is appreciated more than we can say – thank you so much!!! And kudos to the rest of the team as well for doing such a great job and keeping everyone happy and smiling! Secrets Maroma is magical for us. We can’t wait to go back again next year. And if you stay regular or Preferred, it doesn’t matter – you will be treated exceptionally and have an amazing time! We have done both and while some of the extra perks are nice, the resort is beautiful, the food is incredible and the service is like nothing you will experience anywhere else!

Me and my wife stayed at room 2446 from sept.07 to 15th. We have been to 25 all inclusive vacations and this was one of the best.the food ,the service, housekeeping was amazing.special thanks to Filipe from grill and Melanie from Bordeaux.definitely will be back

Wonderful resort. Food exceeded all our expectations in each and every restaurant. Staff are amazing and we would love to return. Construction made no difference to our stay.

This all-inclusive resort was an absolutely wonderful way to celebrate our Silver Anniversary. The ocean breeze helped cut through the heat and humidity while near the beach and pool area. However, the construction area where a third pool is being added did block the breeze up toward the main building/restaurants. However, despite construction starting in the early morning and into the night, the noise was not an issue. The staff was very helpful, responsive, and always on hand. The activities throughout the day were varied for those of all ages and abilities and the evening shows and entertainment were excellent.
