Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun

Let me start by saying I’m apprehensive to give this place a stellar review because I want to keep it a secret. This is easily one of the nicest resorts we have ever been to. Immaculate grounds and facilities, attentive staff, and at a value price. Our dedicated Concierge, Angel made every effort to ensure we wanted for nothing and even provided first aid at one point. We’ll be back soon.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at Secrets Resort. From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff made us feel welcomed and truly taken care of. The level of service throughout the entire resort was outstanding, and the food exceeded all expectations, every meal was delicious and beautifully prepared. A special shoutout to our concierge, Angel, who went above and beyond in every way. He took the time to answer all of our questions, offered great recommendations, and made sure every detail of our stay was extra special. Not only was he incredibly helpful, but he was also a pleasure to talk with, the kind of service that truly makes a vacation unforgettable. Thank you so much, Angel, for everything, you’re the best! We highly recommend this resort and can’t wait to return.

Everything about our stay was perfect. Marissa was the absolute best concierge building 12. She made our stay the best. She kept us up to date on activities and saw that all our needs were met during our stay. We really enjoyed the activity/entertainment team. Leo was the absolute best along with Omar and Marcelo. The services at the pool and all the restaurants and bars was fantastic. The food was great. We didn’t have a bad meal. The beach and ocean was beautiful. Can’t recommend this resort enough and can’t wait to go back!

We had the most amazing time here on our honeymoon. Truly everything was perfect from start to finish. The staff are absolutely incredible, everyone is so happy, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. You can really see how hard the whole team works to make this place as special as it is. A huge thank you to our concierge Angel in Building 14, who was fantastic, friendly, and always made sure we were looked after. The entertainment team were wonderful, with so many fun activities throughout the day. Special mentions to Fritz, Leo, and Armando. We had such a great time with them and they really made our days even more enjoyable. The food was outstanding and as someone who is gluten free, I was so impressed with how well I was catered for. I have to mention Roberto at breakfast, who always made sure I had a gluten-free waffle whenever I wanted one. There are so many people to thank, including Dario at the pool, who provided amazing service every single day. We also loved Portofino Restaurant. Both the food and the staff (angel) were absolutely the best. We would recommend this hotel to everyone and truly hope we get the chance to return one day. This place made our honeymoon unforgettable.

My husband and I visited Secrets Maroma Beach in December 2025. We also visited in December 2019 (Six years ago) and loved the resort then but our latest visit was even better. The resort has definitely made some improvements. We did not choose Preferred Club so can't comment on that. The food in all the restaurants was very good! No bad choices! A special shout out to Eduardo who served us in the lobby bar at night. He went out of his way to take care of us even when the lobby was extremely busy. We had excpetional service from all the servers at every restaurant, including the buffet and also great service at the pool/beach. Our conceirge, Erick was also very courteous and took the time to ensure that we had everything we needed during our stay. We also enjoyed the fact that there was extensive live entertainment throughout the resort, day and night. We highly recommend this resort and we will be back.
