Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun

Everything about this trip was five star!!! The food and service were outstanding. Everyone on the staff was so friendly and helpful. The only drawback was the sargassum, but even then they did everything possible to keep the beach clean. And we were just as happy at the pool with all the amenities minus the sand. Activities were fun and we met some wonderful people along the way. If I could give it 11/10, I would!

This was our third visit to Secrets Maroma Beach, and once again, the experience was incredible. What truly made this trip stand out was the amazing team in the Preferred Club, who made us feel genuinely welcomed and at home from the moment we arrived. Each day, Margarita greeted us with the biggest smile, remembered us, and always made sure to take us to our favorite section with Mateo. Mateo was absolutely exceptional. He remembered us from previous visits and consistently went above and beyond to make our experience special. He is incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely cares about his guests. One of the highlights was how Mateo worked with the Preferred Club chef, Anna, to have a special ceviche prepared exactly the way I liked it. He even arranged for it to be made for me throughout the week, including on the days he wasn’t there. That level of thoughtfulness and personalized service is exactly what makes Maroma so special. We also rented a cabana during our stay, and Dario, our pool waiter, was fantastic. He was incredibly attentive, kind, and always seemed to anticipate what we needed before we even had to ask. Our private concierge, Roberto, was equally amazing. He took care of absolutely everything for us and exceeded our expectations throughout the entire stay. Knowing Roberto was there to handle anything we needed allowed us to completely relax and enjoy our vacation. The resort itself is beautiful, but it is truly the people who keep bringing us back. Margarita, Mateo, Anna, Dario, Roberto, and the entire Preferred Club team made us feel like we were coming home rather than simply visiting a resort. After three incredible stays, Secrets Maroma Beach continues to be our favorite place, and we will absolutely be back!

The resort is lovely even with some construction going on. It’s very well maintained amend the staff there are exceptional. The food is also a step up from other Secrets. In particular, our concierge Roberto was amazing. Always cheerful, extraordinarily helpful and very knowledgeable about the resort and surrounding area. His English is impeccable.

Amazing resort with incredible food! Everyone was so kind, helpful, and welcoming. The events were so much fun, everything was spotless and well-maintained, and the entire resort had such a warm, inviting atmosphere. We had an amazing experience!

We visited the resort to celebrate our anniversary, and while there were many things we enjoyed, there was one disappointment. Due to the construction taking place at the resort, instead of the garden view we were expecting, our room overlooked the construction area. Unfortunately, having a construction view did put a damper on part of our experience, especially since this was such a special anniversary trip for the two of us. However, I have to give special recognition to our concierge, Brandon Gomez. Brandon was absolutely excellent and truly became the spark that made our vacation feel special despite our disappointment with the view. He made sure our every need was met, and anytime we had a question or needed something, he was there to help. Even if he wasn't sure of an answer, he would take the time to find out and get back to us. His attentiveness, kindness, and willingness to go the extra mile definitely helped put us more at ease and allowed us to enjoy our anniversary. I also have to mention the Seaside Grill, which was my favorite restaurant! I enjoyed the steak so much that I went back three times to have it again. It was definitely one of the highlights of my stay. Although the construction view was not what we expected and did affect our overall experience, Brandon's exceptional service made a huge difference. Having someone who genuinely cared about making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves helped turn things around. Thank you, Brandon, for taking such wonderful care of us and helping make our anniversary vacation memorable. You are truly an asset to the resort!
