Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun

I stayed at Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun from December 23–29, and from the moment we arrived, I was struck by how pristine the resort is. The grounds are immaculately clean, beautifully manicured, and the entire property smells like a spa. It’s clear how hard the staff work to maintain such a high standard, and it truly shows. I absolutely loved the attention to detail in the design of the resort. You can tell the architect thought of everything. We stayed in a walkout pool room, and the layout was fantastic. The colour palette, bohemian accents, and thoughtful use of textures created a space that felt both modern and luxurious, while still honouring a subtle Mayan influence. It was beautifully done. The bed deserves its own mention—it was incredibly comfortable. I had an excellent night’s sleep every single night, which says a lot when travelling. This is not a party resort, which was exactly what we were looking for. There’s a great mix of adults of all ages, but the overall vibe is very relaxed. Most people seemed to be there for true rest and restoration, and the atmosphere really supports that. The beach is absolutely the main focal point of the resort—and for good reason. It is stunning. We spent most of our time there and rented a Balinese bed for a couple of days, which was well worth it and added to the overall experience. The spa is a must-do. We had a deeply relaxing massage and access to the therapeutic water circuit. It was a truly divine experience and one of the highlights of the trip. The food was very good overall. The steakhouse was a standout, and we also really enjoyed the Pan-Asian and Italian restaurants. Breakfast at the buffet was solid, though the selection was fairly consistent from day to day. What truly set this resort apart, however, was the hospitality. The service was outstanding across the board. Viktor and Catalina were especially amazing—so attentive and genuinely warm—but every staff member we encountered was impressive. I tipped throughout our stay and was surprised to notice that many guests did not, which I found unfortunate given the exceptional level of service. Thank you to the entire team for an incredible stay. This may be one of the few resorts I would genuinely consider returning to—and that says a lot.

Awesome, Amazing, incredible. I have no words to describe the facilities and service of this all inclusive resort. Right from check-in all the way to check-out, everything was impeccable. Our concierge Marissa took care of everything from Day One. Ample vegetarian and vegan options. Every restaurant had fine dining service. The executive and sou chefs were available for making every breakfast, lunch and dinner special. It was all-inclusive with no extra charges. The SPA is not to be missed. Its a little expensive but once you are in it, you cannot be agree that its all worth it. They bend over back to make every evening so special that you dont have to step out any evening. Roberto, Hugo, Sabran, Cesar, Victor, David and Carlos - I dont have words to thank them enough. I am sure I forgot a few more as every person in the resort expected nothing but were there to give amazing service. Thank you, thank you and Thank you for making our end of the year vacation absolutely incredible!!!

Resort well maintained and lovely. Clean. Each building has its own personal concierge- ours was Erick. He was extremely attentive. The French restaurant is tip top perfect. What an elegant experience. We met some wonderful staff along the way. Carlos, Rodrigo, Humberto at the oceans, Daniel at the bell stand. Julio and Cesareo. The swim out pool is not heated, so keep that in mind when you book in winter. You won’t use it. We didn’t. But the peace and tranquillity of the patio was lovely. Entertainment daily and nightly. Not cheesy. Tequila tasting was fun, but they only had 1 seating for 10 people. If you weren’t there for that, no tasting. Few comments- evenings felt very salesey. Meaning everything became an upcharge. They took 3 hours from us trying and trying to sell a $150k timeshare. As a globalist, they refused a 1 hour late check out and offered nothing for having the highest status. A bit lame. The resort’s only 50% occupied. Upon checking out, the staff never asked how our stay was…. They did not want the feedback. Overall clan, tidy and tranquil resort.

Let me start by saying I’m apprehensive to give this place a stellar review because I want to keep it a secret. This is easily one of the nicest resorts we have ever been to. Immaculate grounds and facilities, attentive staff, and at a value price. Our dedicated Concierge, Angel made every effort to ensure we wanted for nothing and even provided first aid at one point. We’ll be back soon.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at Secrets Resort. From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff made us feel welcomed and truly taken care of. The level of service throughout the entire resort was outstanding, and the food exceeded all expectations, every meal was delicious and beautifully prepared. A special shoutout to our concierge, Angel, who went above and beyond in every way. He took the time to answer all of our questions, offered great recommendations, and made sure every detail of our stay was extra special. Not only was he incredibly helpful, but he was also a pleasure to talk with, the kind of service that truly makes a vacation unforgettable. Thank you so much, Angel, for everything, you’re the best! We highly recommend this resort and can’t wait to return.
