Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun

Franco - our concierge for Building 20 was beyond fabulous! He decorated our room with the supplies my sister gave him and he knocked it out of the park!! Always available for any questions we had. And very happy! Emi- first day we were there, and he gave us an hour Spanish lesson. We also saw him multiple times during our stay and he always remembered us and was so kind. Grecia - she was our cabana attendant for my 50th bday at our private cabana bed. She was super friendly and accommodating. We also saw her on our normal days and always had a hug and smile for us! Even on the day she wasn’t working for us, she grabbed me ketchup and mayo for my fries! Roberto Delano - at the breakfast buffet was on top of things and also remembered us from the day before. Hope he had a great mountain bike race! Gerson - our lovely server at Himstu. So genuinely happy and did a great job!! Juan - our server at our Tepanyakki night. Went above and beyond! Domingo - our final dinner at Bordeaux. He happily explained everything to us and brought out extra sorbet that was to die for!! Antonio Herrera - very helpful in checking us out. Carmen - at the bar by the lobby - so happy and helped my sister get all the drinks she wanted!! Victor - our poolside server. Hard worker and always checked in with us all day long. Benjamin - our housekeeper that always went the extra mile in Building 20! The food was great and so many options! The room was perfect for my sister and I - we would stay there again. Every single person that worked there was happy, but more importantly, it was so genuine and that mattered to me.

Pool experience was questionable. As someone who loves Secrets resorts, I came in with high expectations. Unfortunately, the infinity pool experience fell short. This is where the resort hosts many of its activities, but guests are not warned that a volleyball net and basketball hoop may be set up directly in front of their chairs. We had reserved our chairs early in the morning specifically to relax, only to have the area transformed into an activity zone later in the day. There was no advance notice and no effort to relocate guests to comparable seating—just a quick “sorry.” It made for a much less relaxing experience and seemed like a preventable issue with better communication and guest consideration.

Well, it was rated 9.3 stars when I booked. It exceeded expectations. I’ve been to all inclusives many times, and this was the best. The combination of service, quality, attention to detail was beyond anything you could reasonably hope. No complaining staff regarding requests, or fishing for tips (I tipped anyway). But it was so refreshing to pure determination of this place to make sure you were happy and satisfied. It’s clear that there’s standard and expectations for performance, which is amazing. The food and shows were absolutely top notched, the white sand beach was amazing. My concierge hector was for the entire building that he covered, but you couldn’t tell. Very present and accommodating. My experience at Bordeaux was the best service and food presentation that I’ve had at an all inclusive. I do wish the Italian restaurant partition had more seafood pasta options, but service was great there as well. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and the nightly entertainment was a welcomed surprise and not something you’d expect at an all inclusive that’s not designed for partying. But a more couples oriented and mature crowd. Nightly singing near the bar was really good as well if you wanted to relax there. Have I mentioned the staff and service quality??? Just amazing. The turn down service and the people who cleaned our room were amazing as well, never had to ask for towels, or having the bed made or sheets changed. Just amazing. Look forward to going back.

Hector from building 14 was the best concierge we ever had! Always smiling… remembered our names every day… and got our elevator to work the very next day! Food was excellent … drinks were a little weak …. Staff was excellent ! This was our 10th time in Mexico and our best experience yet at your resort ….. we will be returning next May!! Hopefully hector will be our concierge again!👍

Our time at the resort was perfect. The resort itself was gorgeous and the food was amazing. The staff were all super friendly and helpful and did everything they could to help us out. Our best memories were spent on the beach seeing and listening to the ocean at all times. The Bartender there Efrain took great care of us and helped us make wonderful memories there by giving us suggestions on new drinks to experience and also by helping us set up a reservation and serving us at the beach front romantic dinner. Our time spent at the resort was a wonderful experience and we really do appreciate everything he did to help us feel welcomed and taken care of.
