Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun

We are a married couple in our mid 40's from the UK celebrating our 15 year wedding anniversary. Our holiday to Secrets Maroma was a last minute switch due to our original holiday in Dubai being cancelled. We have never visited Mexico before and I must say this resort surpassed all our expectations. It was simply paradise. From the moment we stepped foot off the airport transfer, to the moment we left the service was impeccable. The staff couldn't do enough for us. We particularly enjoyed our beach day, despite the amount of seaweed. The hotel had a team working tirelessly to clear it, unfortunately it was coming as quick as they were removing it. This is absolutely no fault of there's or a reflection on the resort, nor did it affect our holiday. The food was gorgeous. We didn't have a bad meal the entire week. We particularly enjoyed the Italian and visited twice. I would also highly recommend booking Tappenyaki, what a show and the food was beautiful. The boogie nights show was fantastic, the standard of talent was excellent. We were gutted to have missed the acrobatic show, if the standard was anything like the other shows, I can only imagine how good it was.

We recently staid at secrets maroma We were part of a big group coming for meetings and had couple days to enjoy the resort The Food is amazing french restaurant is great I cant believe how hard They work to clean the seaweed, I want to say thanks to all the workers Also did a great excursión to Xcaret Park the amstar guy at main lobby David He did a great Job explaining all the details and reccomendations

This was such a beautiful resort. Every space was clean and comfortable with tons of choice seating for everyone. The staff was PHENOMENAL ! Every single employee went out of their way to make sure you had every thing you want. You can feel how much effort is put into everything they do. Food was OUTSTANDING! The quality and variety was unbeatable. I loved this resort and would come back many times over. Had one of the best vacations I have ever had at Secrets Maroma.

WOW! is how we will start the review. We tried to remember so many names of so many great staff that we met over our 10 days but it's shard when every one was amazing. When we entered the lobby we were greeted by Orlando which made you feel special and welcome right away. After check in he explained details of the resort and was very upfront that he would like to take some time and discuss the UVC membership. He was not pushy at all, in fact he made it that you actually wanted to attend the meeting in case it benefits him in any way... which we will get to later..lol We were in building 15 , Junior swim out which was amazing! Sun all day ! Our building concierge (Marco) was so pleasant and always made sure to ask if we needed anything. He would send a message everyday of scheduled events and activities. We are normally beach people which is why we picked this resort but we somehow became pool people for 10 days. The infiniti pool overlooking the ocean, music playing all day .. it was just perfect!! Our waiter at the pool (Wilberth) never let our glasses get empty and mostly just kept bringing us things new to try without asking. The pool concierges work hard to make sure people are not saving chairs and never showing up which is great. Every one has their own opinions of resort food. For us we felt it was the top 3 of the twenty some resorts we have visited. Every waiter and waitress went above and beyond! Exceptional service at each table. I know you need to buy a bottle of wine to get the private setting at the pool dinner in the evening but we highly recommend it. It was amazing! So here was our highlight that sold us on buying the UVC membership. There is an area where you can take pictures in front of the love sign which people take locks and leave behind as a memory token. It is pretty cool. We didn't know about this until we arrived so we went to the shops to see if they sold locks... turns out they don't but an employee named Daniel , said i will go to town on my way home tonight and find you one. He took our number and that evening we had a text message from Daniel showing us two different locks at a local store. I met him the next day to get the lock and had to force him to take money as payment. He just wanted to do it for us out of kindness.. WOW!! So yes, Members we now are..lol and happy to say it. Thank you Roberto ! We have already booked our November trip. Highly recommend this resort and everything about it. Top trip for us. Russell Family

Wonderful experience at Maroma. The facilitiy was beautiful, from the main lobby, to the rooms, to the landscaping. Staff were so friendly and helpful, going above and beyond, many of them knowing us by name towards the end of our time there. A few I would like to shout out in particular are Alexis and Carlos (waiters at oceana), Margarita (hostess at oceana), Omar (kayak tour guide), Franco (pool concierge), and Marcelo (primary concierge building 16). Food and drinks were great, so was our spa experience. Le Labo toiletries in our room was an unexpected perk. The main pool is great, not too loud. Unfortunately, we did not spend much time at the beach, due to there being large amounts of sargassum. That said, the staff was constantly working to clean it up and doing all they could to try and make it nice.
