Amazing place, best service there is. In particular Avalos and Romon at the pool bar and Eric at Tau! You will not be treated better.

Our second time stay at this gem and had an amazing time once again! Avalos, Ulises, and Antonio are the best bartenders we have ever experienced at any resort. They go above and beyond every time! This resort is a perfect relaxing and quiet getaway if that’s what you’re looking for.

Everyone working at Casa Velas goes out of their way to make your stay even better, all with such genuine warmth and hospitality. I want to especially thank Avalos, Ulises, and Antonio who made us want to stay at the beautiful pool all day. Antonio made the best drinks and we often received something special before we could even think to ask! Ulises is so kind and thoughtful. He has a passion for making food and drinks, and he put together extra special off-menu snacks and meals for us, all while we relaxed at the pool. Last but definitely not least - the fabulous Avalos. He is the kind of person you meet and feel like you have been friends with forever right from the start. We so much enjoyed being able to chat with him, and we felt so comfortable asking him about anything and everything. I truly feel like I can call the team my friends and I already miss being there! I look forward to seeing them again.

Between my husband and I, we have been to Casa Velas 5 times. We keep coming back for the beautiful environment, excellent food and a relaxed vibe, but the true stand-out for us is the service. Every person you encounter is fantastic, but there are consistently over the top people who take your vacation to the next level. Ulises, Ramon, Avalon at the pool. Such genuinely nice people who make the pool-side atmosphere wonderful. Fredy at the lounge bar. One of the longest serving staff knows his craft very well. 10/10 espresso martinis! Gerardo at Emilianos. Always had us laughing in the morning. Miguel at concierge is a big mention for us. Being able to communicate efficiently from home before our trip, during and after is a huge comfort for us. Thank you to all the great staff for a great trip! Patrick and Michelle.

Outstanding 10 days at Casa Velas; resort and service was superior; rooms and overall cleanliness and lush gardens emphasized the beautiful resort; staff most helpful with everything; all meal service was excellent; dinners were delicious with exceptional table service, setting and entertainment; pool and seating also great; attentive service from Aualos and Ulyces made for happy and fun environment; all pool services excellent in a serene setting; excellent shuttle for access to beach club and sister property; wonderful dinners at both locations with outstanding staff and service; lastly a big thank you to Miguel who assisted with all requests; he made our stay stress free ; we were looking for quality and quiet luxury in all aspects and that's what we got;
