Casa Velas Hotel Boutique & Spa

A little gem in the heart of the Marina District. The resort is very clean and well kept. Walking distance to the beach club and the Marina. There is a shuttle if you prefer. The Restaurant on property is very good as is the Tau beach club restaurant. Poolside Staff were excellent as was the staff at Emiliano’s and Tau. Lots of great conversations with the other guests. This is a small resort, only 80 rooms, so if you are looking to party you’ll have to go off property or over to the Velas Vallarta. MANY return guests there, so that tells you something. Oh, one final request, please send the recipe for the Rib-eye lasagna (it’s really that good!). Thanks for your hospitality and we hope to see you again soon!

It was great to return to Casa Velas after several years. From the time we arrived and throughout our week long visit, the guest services, facilities, room, pool area, gym, spa, Tau beach club and dining options were outstanding. The adult-only boutique property and the meticulously maintained grounds, gardens and koi pools created an intimate, relaxing and tranquil atmosphere. During our stay all the staff we encountered were professional, friendly and very accommodating. Of particular mention would be Avalos and Ramon at Aqua Bar and Omar, Leonardo and Gerardo at Emiliano all under the watchful eye of Rigo. We left Casa Velas feeling relaxed and pampered with the hope of returning next year. Mucho gracias por una estancia maravillosa mis amigas!

Another amazing stay at Casa Velas. The team at Casa Velas is amazing. The grounds are beautiful🌺 Great pool on property with access to Tau Beach club, available by short walk or shuttle. Food and drinks are very good! The staff work hard to keep the property clean. The new chef is lovely and talented, went out of his way for a special meal for us that was not on menu. Food could be served hotter! Special shout out: Pool: Avalos, great energy, great service Ulisses, always met with a smile, great service Ramon, so friendly great service. Front reception: everyone is so friendly and helpful. Denis at concierge a great go to for your needs. Breakfast: Omar, Gerardo and so many more! We have just returned from several weeks back at our '2nd home'.. This is our 6 or so stay with the most wonderful resort imagineable. First,the property itself is beautiful and kept in pristine condition. We were fortunate to be staying in Suite #404 and it was just beautiful and perfect in every way..We hated to leave each morning, but the resort offers too many diversions to remain cloistered.. The menu at Emiliano's and the beach club has been expanded and no matter what we ordered, the choices were all prepared to perfection... It is just so serene and enjoyable to spend time either around the pool or over at Club Tau on the beach..The attention to cleanliness and service is always 5star plus.. Now,the stars of Casa Velas are the staff that has truly become like a 2nd family to us.Everyone that you interact with has a smile and makes you feel so at ease. Our time here went by so fast and we can't wait to rejoin the family.. I apologize if I neglected to name some one, but we so appreciate being able to see and interact with among others--Jesus,Daniel,Omar,Alfredo,Ulises,Ramon and Alvalas,etc and all under the supervision of the irreplaceable GM Miguel Dorado..Miguel seems to be always around 24/7 making certain that every guest is happy and enjoying their time at the resort.. His smile and warmth is contagious and sincere and is one of main reasons for our returning to Casa Velas time after time. We will see everyone soon !! Dennis and Kitty

It's hard to say enough positive about Casa Velas. It is my "Go To" for a chill and relaxing get away. A beautiful resort, with fabulous staff who all work hard to keep the place in tip top shape. Management and staff do an exceptional job of making CV a welcoming and attentive environment. Special shoutouts to Rigo, Denis and the Emiliano chef for their attention and accommodation to special needs. And to Rocio and Daniel for their kind and compassionate service. All the staff contribute to making one feel comfortable and cared for. Special shout outs, as well, to Armando (an exceptional ambassador for the resort), and to Avalos and Ulisses at the pool. They and all the other staff at the resort are appreciated for their contributions in making the CV experience so very memorable We will be back!
