Casa Velas Hotel Boutique & Spa

A truly relaxing and elevated vacation experience all around. Traveled Solo and met some great friendly fellow Canadian couples. Big shout out to the "King of Poolside Service" Avalos and his side kick Ulises who go out of their way to ensure every beverage and snack needs are met, and always with a smile. I shall be back next year!

Beautiful resort. Staff and servers very professional and accommodating. Pool servers Alvalos and Ulises looked after our every need…They were excellent..

We had a wonderful time and loved everything about the resort. Our room was lovely and spacious with a great bathroom and patio. The food was very good. The pool area was wonderful and even though it wasn’t on the ocean, we were a short shuttle ride away from the beach that was equally lovely with another great restaurant. Have to mention Avalos, who not only took great care of us at the pool, bringing us lunch, snacks and drinks throughout every day but he was so warm and funny. He definitely added to our good time. We were with friends who had been there before and he remembered them. He was just great.

A beautiful spot. The staff and waiters were wonderful. Polite, and catering to our every need with caring, humor and expertise. Especially Ulises and Alvalos who waited on us at the pool. They were exceptional , very hard working

Can’t imagine a more relaxing and luxurious vacation. Casa Velas exceeds expectations. A perfect choice if you want a quiet, secluded, private escape in PV. Everyone is friendly, the grounds are immaculate, and the food is as good as we’ve had at any hotel or resort. And the value for what you pay is quite hard to beat. I can’t imagine a better place to stay in PV. Some (potential) drawbacks: while there is nightly live music during meals, if you are looking for lots of excitement and entertainment, you might be better off staying in Zona Romantica. Casa Velas is more for people who want a laid back, luxurious experience. Also, if having an ocean view from your room is important, you can’t get that at Casa Velas (the rooms have either views of the adjacent golf course or private gardens). That being said, beach access is extremely easy, with continuous shuttle service to and from the private Tau Beach Club, a 5 minute drive away. Some highlights: The Emiliano BBQ’s (by their new prodigy chef and cooker) are phenomenal. Not to be missed. The Tau Beach Club is awesome. Like having your own beach-side villa that you share with a dozen or so fellow guests. Food and drinks at Tau Beach Club are indeed all included with your stay at Casa Velas, and the food is very good as well. The grounds at Casa Velas are beautiful and so well cared for, and even include a botanical garden area where they grow fruit and herbs. Above all, the entire staff is extremely friendly and always offering to make your stay better.
