Casa Velas Hotel Boutique & Spa

Between my husband and I, we have been to Casa Velas 5 times. We keep coming back for the beautiful environment, excellent food and a relaxed vibe, but the true stand-out for us is the service. Every person you encounter is fantastic, but there are consistently over the top people who take your vacation to the next level. Ulises, Ramon, Avalon at the pool. Such genuinely nice people who make the pool-side atmosphere wonderful. Fredy at the lounge bar. One of the longest serving staff knows his craft very well. 10/10 espresso martinis! Gerardo at Emilianos. Always had us laughing in the morning. Miguel at concierge is a big mention for us. Being able to communicate efficiently from home before our trip, during and after is a huge comfort for us. Thank you to all the great staff for a great trip! Patrick and Michelle.

Outstanding 10 days at Casa Velas; resort and service was superior; rooms and overall cleanliness and lush gardens emphasized the beautiful resort; staff most helpful with everything; all meal service was excellent; dinners were delicious with exceptional table service, setting and entertainment; pool and seating also great; attentive service from Aualos and Ulyces made for happy and fun environment; all pool services excellent in a serene setting; excellent shuttle for access to beach club and sister property; wonderful dinners at both locations with outstanding staff and service; lastly a big thank you to Miguel who assisted with all requests; he made our stay stress free ; we were looking for quality and quiet luxury in all aspects and that's what we got;

Having returned for our 4th stay at this exquisite adult-only boutique hotel, I am once again compelled to express my admiration. The service by the pool (expertly delivered by Ulises and Avaros) was nothing short of exceptional. Their intuitive attention to detail ensured that our needs were anticipated before we even had to voice them. The evening dining staff were equally impressive, knowing us by name and remembering our preferences, which added a wonderfully personal touch to our dining experience. The hotel manager made a point to visit the dining area several times, personally checking in on guests to ensure their satisfaction, further enhancing our stay. Additionally, the housekeeping staff (particularly Maria) demonstrated outstanding professionalism; her meticulous care included arranging towels neatly beneath our personal items left on the counter. My only lament is that we eventually had to depart. I eagerly anticipate my next visit to this sublime haven.

A little gem in the heart of the Marina District. The resort is very clean and well kept. Walking distance to the beach club and the Marina. There is a shuttle if you prefer. The Restaurant on property is very good as is the Tau beach club restaurant. Poolside Staff were excellent as was the staff at Emiliano’s and Tau. Lots of great conversations with the other guests. This is a small resort, only 80 rooms, so if you are looking to party you’ll have to go off property or over to the Velas Vallarta. MANY return guests there, so that tells you something. Oh, one final request, please send the recipe for the Rib-eye lasagna (it’s really that good!). Thanks for your hospitality and we hope to see you again soon!

It was great to return to Casa Velas after several years. From the time we arrived and throughout our week long visit, the guest services, facilities, room, pool area, gym, spa, Tau beach club and dining options were outstanding. The adult-only boutique property and the meticulously maintained grounds, gardens and koi pools created an intimate, relaxing and tranquil atmosphere. During our stay all the staff we encountered were professional, friendly and very accommodating. Of particular mention would be Avalos and Ramon at Aqua Bar and Omar, Leonardo and Gerardo at Emiliano all under the watchful eye of Rigo. We left Casa Velas feeling relaxed and pampered with the hope of returning next year. Mucho gracias por una estancia maravillosa mis amigas!
