Casa Velas Hotel Boutique & Spa

This was our first time to Casa Velas. We liked how everything looked. It has beautiful landscaping and it is maintained very well. We were greeted warmly and everyone we passed always met us with a smile, a greeting, and a hand placed over their heart. The entire staff is genuinely gracious and kind. Many team members went out of their way to accommodate us which we appreciated. The restaurant service and the food were outstanding. I ate so much! I even requested chorizo added into my chilaquiles and eggs Benedict and the chef made great dishes with it. Even the appetizers (salad, soup, and caprese) were delicious. In fact, I ordered both the Cesar salad and the Tropical Caprese along with my dinner because I couldn't decide on which one to get. There was also a wide variety of drinks available at the restaurant, Pool side bar, and Lobby Bar. A shout out to some of the employees that we encountered were Sarahi and Miguel at the front desk, Ramon and Antonio at the pool bar, and Omar, Gerardo, and Ulises at their restaurant. It is employees like the ones I mentioned above that make us want to return. Not only is their hotel beautiful but they have team members who are the ones who make the experience worth it.

This was our fifth visit to Casa Velas and it certainly will not be our last. The hotel is truly beautiful and peaceful. The staff makes certain your stay is a perfect one. From the time one arrives, everything is provided with first class service. I would like to send a special "thanks" to the following associates of Casa Velas: Sarahi and Miguel at Reception, always available for any need. Ramson and Antonio at the Aqua Bar, we never had to ask for a drink. And the servers at Emilianos, they consistenly provide top-notch service: Ulises, Rocio, Gerry, Alfredo and Fredy. Lastly, Armando providing help with bags or a trip to Tau, thank you. I may have missed some, I am sure, but thanks to all. Until we meet again, my family at my home away from home.
