Velas Vallarta

The overall experience was pretty great, but only because I was with my family. I can't, in good conscience, give this place even a decent rating. There was repeated pressure on my parents to continue investing in a timeshare they will not be using at their age. The upselling was also awful before we got there and even while we were there. This is so unfortunate in a place so well located, beautiful, and with such a remarkable staff. There must be a way to monetize by putting the emphasis on the experience so people continue to return rather than suckering them into something and the upselling to the *on their vacation* Rooms were quiet and clean. The bed was comfortable and the food was great! I spent a very happy week with my whole family there and that was delightful. It would have been even better and so would this review if my brothers and sisters did not have to attend repeated attempts at sales pitching with my parents in order to continually say "no" for them. Do better Velas Vallarta.

I want to congratulate the staff of this absolutely fabulous hotel! They are so kind, friendly, and hospitable, every need was taken care of with a smile and grace! The cleanliness of the hotel is immaculate, the food at all eateries was delicious and beautifully presented. Thank you for an amazing experience to all staff, and a big “gracias” to Marcélino by the pool for making sure we stayed well hydrated, and fed. I will be back next year for sure!!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Location is perfect. On the Marina drive walking distance to many great eats, shopping and Spa services. The rooms are clean, spacious and fully equipped for long term stays. The garden area is Beautifully landscaped and well maintained ! The pools are very clean. Pool maseros are the absolute best. The staff is always so welcoming and accommodating to our needs. We are constantly asked if there is anything we need and they see to it that it gets done. We have been coming for many years and will continue for many more !! Special shout out to Abigayl in guest services, Christian in entertainment, Eric, Victor, Carlos, Jacinto, Ernesto pool maseros, Omar in Andrea’s, Christina in Ribera. We love you all

We stayed two weeks at Velas Vallarta and found all the staff to be extremely friendly and proficient at their positions. However one Bartender stood above the rest. On Sunday Feb. 1st Jose Armondo Zomora was the solo pool bar Bartender. He served literally hundreds of guests. He was at a constant run and yet was always smiling, polite, and friendly. In our opinion he was the best bartender we had in our two week stay. KUDOS JOSE ZAMORA!!!
