Exceeds Expectations!
The staff was so friendly and helpful. Very hospitable and wanted us all to have an enjoyable visit to the D.R. It would not have been the same without the awesome friendly staff. Honey and Angel were stand-outs. But everyone was awesome. (I was a bit hot in my room the 1st 2 nights but asked for and was given a dehumidifier which helped very much)

Honeymoon for Mature Couple
We had a wonderful experience. We are a mature couple and wanted a serene relaxing enviornment for our Honeymoon. We were not disappointed. All adult agegroups were represented so the experience is suitable for all adult groups though younger guests might find it quiet. The grounds are beautiful, the staff is extremely attentive and responsive. Everything is so clean and the beachside restroom is immaculately maintained. The humidity there is very high - 80% - and that was uncomfortable indoors. Clothing did not dry out and even the sheets felt a bit clammy. Outside the breeze was delightful. In the Grill and the Lobster House, we were a bit disappointed in the food. Other restaurants were very good. We made an excellent choice for our Honeymoon.

First Time at Excellence
Resort is a about 45 minutes from PUJ however the private car service provided by the resort was very good. We did upgrade to Excellence club and selected our room for additional charge. Both of these choices were worth the fee. We stayed in Bld #500 double bed which was spacious and easy access to pool. Beach is very nice however red flags and not good to swim in ocean. We had meals at Magna and Chez Isabell both food and service was great. The Grill and Agave also good meals. Things missing for us was NO swim up bars on Excellence side of resort. Also we had to call each day to have mini bar restocked and very limited top shelf liquor in room. Over all the staff and resort is great, as this was our 7th year visiting DR and for the money this was #1 pick out of various resorts we have been to.

This resort was FABULOUS! You are totally taken care of. When you arrive you receive a glass of champagne, a cool towel to wipe your face and hands, and a big “Welcome Home!". I am very big on service and the service I received at the Excellence Punta Cana was unmatched. Plus it's only for adults… so no screaming kids! The food was very good and they offer premium drinks. I would stay there again anytime.
