Excellence Punta Cana

My wife and I recently stayed at the Excellence Punta Cana to celebrate our anniversary. Unfortunately, the experience was just average at best. One of the biggest disappointments was that when we arrived, there was no acknowledgment or recognition of our anniversary, which was disappointing considering it was a special occasion for us. Also, Do Not waste your money for the Excellence Club. It's really not worth the extra money. We didn't even receive a welcoming beach bag. They claim they had ran out. On the positive side, the transportation service was excellent, both coming to the hotel and returning to the airport. The grill restaurant was phenomenal. That steak was one of the best seasoned and cooked steaks I have ever eaten. The rest of the food was okay in the other restuarants, nothing particularly memorable. The hotel staff was great. The workers were friendly, helpful and provided good service throughout our stay. Overall, I will not be returning to this resort. The occasion and the price we were celebrating, I expected a better overall experience.

It was a nice place. The servers were mostly terrible. Completely ignored if you don’t tip. Or have to wait to tip. Mixed drinks are weak. Sometimes had no idea what I was drinking!

The excellence in Punta Cana has got to be my favorite stay. We have been to sandals and secrets but we have never felt so catered to like we did with the excellence. The staff is so friendly. I even learned a great deal of spanish!!! The beds are sooooo comfortable. I cant say enough about this place. Its absolutely amazing.

Excellence Punta Cana exceeded our expectations. The excellence club was such a great choice, from the minute we arrived at the airport someone took our luggage, offered us drinks and water, and we had a luxury ride to the resort. From there we were taken to the excellence club was cool and the easiest check in ever and we were given champagne. I was surprised at the cleanliness of every corner of the resort. At other ocean side places we’ve been it was not nearly this clean, there was always clean bathrooms, amazing/friendly housekeeping, clean towels. ONLY complaint is that the rooms are very humid, we were unused to the humidity, the AC was a lifesaver it went down to 64 and saved us from the humidity we experienced mostly everywhere else. The staff made the entire trip, even up to the second we left the resort they wanted us to enjoy ourselves, took our luggage and said to sit at the bar or wherever and they got us when transport arrived. The entrainment was so fun and the staff was always willing to dance and have a great time with you. Unsure if we came at a less busy time but we never waited for a thing, food and drinks were fast and it did not feel crowded at all. There was always an open table/seats everywhere we went and never waited more than 5 minutes on a drink. We were truly treated like family and i never want to leave!!!

Excellence punta cana was the nicest all inclusive resort I have ever been to, the people are truly incredible, the resort is absolutely stunning, and everything was amazing. I could not recommend it enough and I would definitely come back.
