Excellence Punta Cana

Amazing experiences & Amazing time! Everything was Excellences! Food, Place, People & Sercive! Thank you, for making my vacation, so special!

We loved our time at the excellence resort. We did have one issue with when we booked. Be careful with emails asking to pick a room, there is a charge for that of 350.00. We did not realize, the resort would not do anything about it. Place was nice and staff was great. Again my only disappointment was the extra charge that was not necessary, as we already paid to upgrade to excellence club. Our first time there, and we did not know it was extra. Kind of felt sneaky. Other than that, we enjoyed our time.

Wow! We went for 10 nights for our honeymoon and stayed in 7075- an excellence club honeymoon suit. The room was so clean and amazing. I cousins believe we got a bed and 2 chairs to ourselves outside along with a jacuzzi, deck, and access to a pool (for everyone)! It was great. The excellence club to me was worth it. We ended up going back to the excellence club pool every day where Raul and other concierge staff set up our towels each day making us feel at home. Moises, Lucia, Ricardo, and all staff made sure we always had a drink and food, we never had to get out of the pool so don’t even worry abt having a swim up bar (although there is one at another pool) Towels, robes, alcohol, snacks are restocked everyday. We requested the second floor but I TOTALLY RECOMMEND THE 1st FLOOR 7075!!!!!! If we got the 2nd or 3rd I would have regretted it. If you stay up there you lose the lounge bed and chairs and pool access. We could see the palm trees and beach from our room just fine. Room service is good and takes abt 30 mins to come. No complaints abt the room, room service. I recommend the mini beer shot- liquor 43 , taste like ice cream not beer at all (just looks like beer). Sports bar-Get buffalo wings and smash burger. The kitchen table is awesome for breakfast. The buffet is eh for lunch but you can order off of a menu and the crab cake is great and the wings are the exact same from the sports bar! If you look closely you can get the same foods at multiple places. The grill was great. The hibachi experience was fun although my husband didn’t rave about the food. For men in the summer be aware of the dress code and wearing shorts to dinner. The airport transfer was awesome! We did 4 days In a row of Xcaret excursions (snorkel, xenote, xel-ha and ATV). Pay for the xcaret transfer it’s totally worth it and cheaper than taxi! If you are gonna do 4 try and spread it out, by the 3rd and 4th day we were exhausted although we had a lot of fun. Beach: we walked on 1 time but never went back bc of sea weed. I didn’t mind bc we loved the pool but if you want a beach focused vacation this is unfortunately not the place. If you love the pool you won’t mind. It did smell like sea weed a lot in the mornings from like 8-9:00 but it got better in the afternoon. I would 100% recommend! Our favorite part was not having to get out of the pool for Moises and Lucia to check on us

Only negative of the whole trip was… ordered drinks about 10pm and the lady told me to go to the bar and get them. 🤷‍♀️

Trip was overall great just need a fan in the rooms! Bars and the pools were excellent would 10/10 recommend
