Excellence Punta Cana

Our stay was horrible. This property is marketed with language suggesting a luxury, high-end experience, but what we experienced was disgusting, loud, unsanitary, and deeply disappointing. We saw mouse droppings. The food was deplorable, and we became so sick that we had to buy anti-diarrhea medication and change our flights to leave early. That caused us to incur additional costs on top of an already unacceptable stay. The property was not modern, peaceful, or luxurious. The conditions felt unsafe and unsanitary. Staff also disclosed information to us that raised serious concerns about the property, which only reinforced our decision to leave. The only positive part of the trip was the spa, which appeared to be run separately from the resort. Everything else was a disaster. I would not return, and I would strongly caution anyone considering this property to look elsewhere. This was the worst resort experience we have ever had.

Dionisio at the Lobster House gives EXCELLENT service. At the breakfast shift today, he frequently refilled my wife and I’s mimosa and coffee cups, asked how our vacation was, remembered us from dinner 3 days prior, and even helped schedule a reservation at Agave for dinner with a recommended colleague. Come to Lobster House and request Dionisio!

We had a luxurious experience on this trip. Incredible food, wonderful and friendly staff, absolutely beautiful facilities. Would absolutely come back.

I was in the activity the magical night, I participated in all the activities tonight, I was in the chiropractor, I cleaned my vibes, I read the letters and everything totally free, this activity given by the hotel was incredible plus the circus that same night and more accompanied by my hostess Cherelyn from the entertainment team, I danced all night later with the live du, I enjoyed a very cold Dominican beer and to end the night my partner and I ate a delicious snack that they offered, tonight was magical without a doubt.

We love excellence. The food quality here was lacking considerably compared to the other excellence resorts. Bars, resort grounds and service however was still top notch.
