Excellence Punta Cana

Mr. Solutions, a.k.a Miguel at the front, is awesome! He helped us out the entire trip, start to finish. Also, Wilson, who has great waves in his hair by the way, was a great bartender! Always kept us happy and kept the drinks coming! 5/5, would recommend the grilled chicken wings at sports bar and beef quesadillas by the pool, both were CRAZY good.

This was our second stay at Excellence Punta Cana. Both trips were for a wedding; the first time over 12 years ago. The resort has been constantly improved and our memories of our great first trip were exceeded by the second trip. All staff are warm and helpful, thoughtful and considerate, and truly make the hospitality of the resort second to none. The food is great and varied, the beer fit for a president. We loved everyone we interacted with. I would specifically commend Jonathan at Las Olas and Kitchen Table as the best waiter on the property.

We had an amazing experience with Juan Carlos, our beach concierge at the Excellence Club. He was always friendly, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him — whether we needed help finding chairs, arranging something, or just checking in to make sure we were enjoying ourselves, he was always there with a smile. His outstanding service and genuine care made a huge difference in our vacation experience. Juan Carlos is a true asset to the resort, and we hope to see him again on our next visit!

My fiancé and I had an ‘excellent’ experience at the excellence Punta Cana! All the staff was top tier, food was great and the views were even better. All the bartenders were very knowledgeable on all drink types and very attentive. It was overall a very relaxing experience! Some of our favorite staff: Joel Franciel Miguel Cheryln Willy All locations on the resort and room were very clean. Housekeeping was always 10/10, never too loud and relaxing. Thank you so much for a fantastic experience! We will definitely be checking out more excellence resorts in the future.

It has gone slightly downhill over last couple of years. Night entertainment is not what it used to be and the dining quality at 2 of the restaurants was not as good as previously. Purchased club level and never received any of the amenities for 3 days. The resort grounds, pools, & rooms are very nice and the staff is very friendly overall a decent place to stay but it is not what it once was
