Excellence Punta Cana

This was my wife's and my first stay at this Excellence hotel. The staff was wonderful. Maria was a standout. My wife and I took the bracelet-making class and she was great. Misael led the pool Bingo and other activities as did Maria, and he was a lot of fun. Miguel, Shagy were also terrific. All the staff were friendly and very attentive. The food was also excellent, however we were disappointed when we ate at the French restaurant Chez Isabella. I ordered the lamb dish and was surprised to find three really tiny lamb chops, almost miniatures like one would get as an appetizer, not a main course. I got about three bites out of it and that was it. The Kitchen Buffet restaurant was just the opposite. Such a great variety of foods and there were stations where the chefs would prepare certain dishes to your liking. We ate at most of the restaurants there and they were all fine, but the Kitchen Buffet was a standout.

The resort is beautifully manicured and maintained with a lovely botanical garden, including two parrots, lots of ducks, stork, etc. The beach area is kept clean and the view is incredible! Service is excellent and responses quick to any need. Staff is cheery and pleasant. We would go again!

His returned from our 3rd trip to EPC. We received the absolute best customer service on this trip. We had the Imperial suite and Esperanza Alcantara was our concierge. She is absolutely amazing. Took care of us and ensured we did not do without. She is a beautiful person and has a gift of customer service. She is the reason I will continue to book the Imperial suite. Other shout outs go to waitress Emilia at the theatre. She makes you feel like family and my wife fell in love with her. She made sure we were never without a drink. If you do excellence club be sure to stop by the beach concierge and see Reison and Juan Carlos. They are both full of energy and made us look forward to going to the beach each day. Took really good care of us and provided the best service. I love all the excellence properties, but EPC is something special.

10/10 recommend! The facilities, accommodations and service were top notch. We traveled there for our honeymoon and were blown away by the resort and the staff and hospitality. Particularly noteworthy (who made our stay so memorable) were Esperanza (our personal concierge), Miguel (entertainment), and Jonathan and Santos (bellmen). The best dining experience on property was Magna (Club Level restaurant) and the Grill. I would avoid the Lobster House. The honeymoon suite w/rooftop terrace ocean view was absolutely incredible. We are so sad to be home, and can't wait to go back.

Everyone was very nice and friendly, especially Miguel (aka Pikachu) ! The activities were fun and the resort is lovely.
