Excellence Punta Cana

I was sexually harassed by one of the male workers on the property. I would NOT recommend going here.

I absolutely loved my stay at Excellence Punta Cana. My mom, sister, and I stayed for 6 days. The resort itself was beautiful. I had upgraded to the excellence club, which was great. I have to shout out Hipolito who started our trip off with great energy. Lisandro, Albert, Juan Carlos, Adrian, and Bienvenidos at the Excellence Pool were the best. We absolutely loved them and they made sure we were always taken care of. Luis H. that worked at Kitchen Table in the morning and The Grille at night was so sweet. We had to go find him and say good bye our last night. Edward at Las Olas and The Grille was also amazing! The room was clean and anything we needed was easily provided to us. We ate at Kitchen Table for breakfast which was a buffet which had great options. Aroma, the coffee shop also offered healthy option like over night oats. We ate at The Grille twice for dinner. The steak is so delicious! We ate at Agave and really enjoyed the steak fajitas. There was some sort of entertainment every night and actives through out the day. I had a poor experience at a different resort last summer in DR and was really nervous about coming again with my family, but it was truly amazing and I could have stayed another 6 days. I can not wait to plan another trip here.

This was our second stay at Excellence Punta Cana, and it once again exceeded our expectations. From check-in to check-out, the service was outstanding. A special shoutout to Juan Carlos (JC) — he went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, and his attentiveness and genuine hospitality did not go unnoticed. We also want to recognize the incredible staff at the bars and restaurants throughout the resort. Every interaction, whether grabbing a drink or sitting down for dinner, felt warm and personal. Being part of the Excellence Club made this trip even more special. The extra perks — from the dedicated lounge to the elevated service — made a real difference and made the experience feel truly worth it. We can’t wait to come back for a third time!

This was our second visit to Excellence Punta Cana, and the incredible service and the way the staff makes you feel from the moment you arrive is what made come back. There are beautiful resorts everywhere, but what makes Excellence Punta Cana so special is the people. The staff is warm, friendly, attentive, and genuinely seems to care about making sure every guest has an amazing experience. You don’t just feel like another person staying at a resort. They make you feel welcomed, appreciated, and honestly, a little like royalty! We especially have to recognize Juan Carlos, who we remembered from our last visit and who once again went above and beyond for us. He has been incredibly accommodating and always seems to know how to hook us up with the best! His attention, kindness, and willingness to make our stay special are a huge part of why Excellence left such a lasting impression on us the first time. But the amazing service truly extends far beyond one person. From the restaurants and bars to housekeeping, the pool and beach staff, and everyone we encountered throughout the resort, we were consistently greeted with smiles and genuine hospitality. There is a warmth here that is hard to describe until you experience it yourself. What stands out most is that the service never feels forced. The staff genuinely wants you to relax, enjoy yourself, and have a wonderful vacation. It’s the little things—the greetings, remembering you, checking that you’re happy, and always being willing to help—that make the experience feel so personal. Thank you to Juan Carlos and the entire Excellence Punta Cana team for once again making us feel so welcomed, cared for, and spoiled. You have created the kind of experience that makes guests want to return—and we certainly did! ❤️🇩🇴 We absolutely recommend Excellence Punta Cana and would happily come back again.

I think everything was nice. Very clean. Food temp can be better or maybe it’s me I like my food hot. I might not be use to buffet style food.
