Excellence Punta Cana

Staff was incredibly friendly, with great service. We booked the excellence club, and the excellence lounge and free hydrotherapy at the spa were wonderful. The gym and excellence pools were very nice. Drinks were amazing!

My Husband and I came to this resort for my 40th Birthday - March 2026! We had a 10/10 experience. The property and rooms are extremely clean and absolutely gorgeous. The staff was kind, helpful and understanding. We were very happy with the transportation service, our special arrival (greeted with a glass of champagne), and the bell service. Room service was wonderful. We enjoyed all of the food! My favorite part is being able to mostly see the ocean from the majority of the resort - it’s the best! The river like pool is parallel to the beach / ocean. It’s very romantic, quiet and relaxing. We will be back and can’t wait!

Right from the start the bell service is there to help you get settled in and checked in asap. The atmosphere was amazing with everyone so welcoming! The location and views of the beach are really great. The rooms and dinning halls are so clean. They have all types of amenities to suit everyone. Right

Hi. It’s my 2nd day at Excellence and I’m already wishing I could be home. First, the “no see um” bugs on the beach. I’ve never ever had this issue in the DR or anywhere else. My body is covered in bites. It’s obvious I can’t sit in the beach. Truly the reason I come to the DR. It is a gorgeous wide beach but I am miserable. Staff is mixed — some kind and attentive. Others …. Twice in the beach someone came and asked if I wanted a drink and twice they never bought the drink. Room service last night took 1.5 hours. I get it was raining and they had more orders but … The food isn’t great. The breakfast buffet is not great. The food at Las Olas was inedible. Pizza at Oregano felt made by chef boyardee. My TV quit and needs to be replaced the sofa in my room is sagging and has tears. I had to ask for my snacks to be replenished. I guess could overlook everything else if I were able to enjoy the beach. I get its nature and everything but now I read that this is common at this hotel. If only I’d known earlier. So disappointed.

From the moment I arrived, Eulin greeted me warmly and made sure I was taken care of throughout my entire stay. The rest of the staff was just as courteous, providing excellent service all around. The food was great as well. I would definitely recommend this place!
