Excellence Punta Cana

The restaurants, the food and wait staff at restaurants were great. The entertainment at night and staff were awesome. The room was not super, several things didnt work like toilet room door, flushing wasnt good, mini bar was embarassing..... the poolside service was lacking for sure.... we had to walk and order drinks and food and get own towels...we were neer once asked poolside of we need a drink refilled or a towel o arrival. Not what I was expecting from Excellence. Some parts of the stay and resort were very nice but service and upkeep of room was lacking for a luxury resort

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Excellence Punta Cana. Everything was excellent from start to finish. The resort is beautiful, peaceful and very well maintained. Our room was comfortable, the food was delicious with plenty of variety, and the service was truly outstanding. What made the experience even more special was the staff. A huge thank you to Jorge, our beach concierge, who was always helpful and attentive, and to Christian and Reison, our beach waiters, for taking such great care of us throughout our days by the beach. We also really appreciated Esmeraldo, the lifeguard, who was always present, friendly and professional. At the restaurants, Luis, Jonathan, Jesus, Einstein and Jenson all stood out for their kindness, excellent service and warm attitude. They genuinely contributed to making our meals and evenings even more enjoyable. And a special mention to Joan, who helped us with our luggage and welcomed us so warmly. The entire team made us feel genuinely cared for. The pools, beach, restaurants and overall atmosphere were all fantastic, and everything was very well organized. We were able to completely relax and enjoy our vacation. We honestly had an amazing experience and would happily return to Excellence Punta Cana. Highly recommended for couples looking for a beautiful, relaxing adults-only getaway.

My wife and I have just spent 10 unforgettable days at Excellence Punta Cana and we want to share our experience with everyone considering this magnificent resort. The resort is absolutely stunning — the tropical gardens are beautifully maintained, the pools are impeccable, and the adults-only atmosphere creates a perfectly romantic and relaxing setting. The Excellence Club is worth every penny — private pools, exclusive lounge, personalized service and daily little touches that make all the difference. The dining experience was one of the highlights of our stay. We enjoyed several restaurants — Chez Isabelle for its exceptional French gastronomy, Magna for its refined Club dinners, Lobster House for its spectacular setting, and Las Olas for lazy lunches with our feet in the sand. Every single experience was outstanding. But what truly makes this stay unforgettable is the team. We want to warmly and personally thank the following people who made our vacation truly special : ⭐ Jorge — our Beach Concierge, always present and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed on our private Club beach from day one. An absolute gentleman. ⭐ Christian — Beach Waiter extraordinaire. He knew our preferences by day two and never let our glasses run empty. Always smiling, always professional. ⭐ Reison — Beach Waiter, equally attentive and warm. His energy and kindness made every beach day even more enjoyable. ⭐ Esmeraldo — our Lifeguard, always vigilant, professional and reassuring. We felt completely safe throughout our stay thanks to him. ⭐ Luis, Jonathan, Jesus, Einstein and Jenson — our incredible restaurant team. Each of them delivered flawless, warm and professional service every evening. Their genuine kindness made every dinner a true pleasure. ⭐ Joan — who handled our luggage with care and a warm smile both on arrival and departure. A small gesture that perfectly sets the tone for the whole stay. Every single one of these people deserves to be recognized. They are the soul of Excellence Punta Cana and the reason we will absolutely be coming back.

The experience at the hotel was excellent, we only had a small issue that was resolved very well. I just have one thing to say: the food at the Italian restaurant, if I'm not mistaken it's Oregano, took a very long time the first day we went to eat there, but it was very good despite the delay. Apart from that, the service and the staff were very attentive. The hotel manager, Mr. Lozano, was extremely attentive to us, which we really appreciate. I recommend the hotel 100%.
