They strive for excellence
After having my stay at this resort, I now understand the overwhelming number of positive reviews! It’s far from the airport, but worth it! I chose not to leave the resort and I was entertained the entire time. The staff work so hard to make sure you have a good experience. After you’ve been there so many days, it becomes a family environment. You recognize certain staff members, and they recognize and acknowledge you. For a resort, there were good food dishes. They helped me enjoy my birthday. I have zero complaints. I would definitely come back.

Save your money.
Beaches were nice, rooms were nice, but all service components fell on their face. Not ideal as many workers were very uninterested and did not seem to care about customer service. Food was fair at best, definitely what I would image of "resort food" if I had never been. For what it costs to stay here, was expecting MUCH better in all aspects including poolside/beach side- awful service.

Amazing Resort, Highly Recommend!
Our overall stay at Excellence Punta Cana was amazing. Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. Our only critique is that the food was a little under-seasoned. However, for the amenities and beautiful scenery we recommend this resort! Thank you to Excellence Punta Cana and their staff!

Great week away
Truly a great experience. Excellente, I could not have asked for a better experience. The entertainment crew always had something new and exciting. Cherelyn, Eduardo , Luis Manuel always kept the party going, from the silent disco to the circus show you can really tell everyone wants you to have a great time. The food was really good, Eddy was great always had a smile on his face. We can't wait to come back

Little insight
We came to the resort for a friend's wedding and had a wonderful stay overall. The hotel is beautiful, the grounds are well maintained, and the staff was friendly and accommodating throughout our visit. The only negatives we experienced were some service delays. We were surprised that there was only one server working the pool area at times, which led to longer waits for food and drinks. We also encountered a wait of over an hour for the steakhouse one evening. Additionally, the pricing in the hotel market seemed excessive—$15 for an SPF chapstick was hard to justify. That said, these issues did not take away from an otherwise great experience. We truly enjoyed our stay, the wedding was fantastic, and we would absolutely consider returning in the future.

This resort was FABULOUS! You are totally taken care of. When you arrive you receive a glass of champagne, a cool towel to wipe your face and hands, and a big “Welcome Home!". I am very big on service and the service I received at the Excellence Punta Cana was unmatched. Plus it's only for adults… so no screaming kids! The food was very good and they offer premium drinks. I would stay there again anytime.
