Excellence Punta Cana

Punta Cana excellent Resort was amazing. The people were spectacular. Jerame from transportation was super nice Alfredo from room service was spectacular. Ronni from the Bowman was supernice nicest guy here and Leo and Felix from oregano were just amazing spectacular super nice people. Everyone here was so nice. I am going to to excellence and Cancun and then back to Punta, Cana and October to see some baseball one of the nicest. If not, the nicest resort I have ever been to the spa was amazing. The weather is amazing. We got a room with swimming pool. I definitely recommend this place to anyone families couples. We came here on our 25th anniversary and they couldn’t have treated us any better and enjoying their excellence club. It’s free.

Every single member of the Excellence staff was warm and welcoming. We had a very beautiful and luxurious stay. It was truly excellent!

This was my first trip to Punta Cana and I was a little nervous; I had heard mixed reviews of the resorts and food. However, Excellence Punta Cana exceeded all expectations. From champagne at check in to luggage service at check out and everything in between, my husband and I were completely blown away. The food was great; The Grill was our favorite restaurant. The drink were amazing. We didn't try the spa (maybe next time) but we did book a cabana for the day and that was definitely worth the cost. We stayed for 5 nights. Our trip was about relaxation so we didn't leave the resort at all, but I did see an excursions counter that could help people who were interested in exploring. Even staying on property, there is plenty to do. We did a Spanish lesson, dance lessons, BINGO, water aerobics classes, etc. The shows in the evenings were great as well. We will definitely be back!

Excellence Punta Cana is an absolutely lovely property. Where most resorts we've been to (this is our 4th, but first time with Excellence) are long and narrow, this one is very wide and all beachfront which I loved. Although the resort is a tad older, the tropical vibes here were incredible. This was also our first time on the Club side at any resort....and now I don't know if I can go back! I posted a video below of our room, we had the Excellence Club Junior Ocean View Suite. My favorite restaurant ended up being Magna, which is the club only restaurant and best ambience in my opinion, and killer cocktails and filet mignon. Also we found that the beach on the club side was more shaded, and also offered daybeds for free. Additionally, the water was yellow flag on that side but remained red flag on the other side the entirety of our stay. Club side offers one additional restaurant, 3 additional bars and 2 additional pools. Other things that are noteworthy: - Massage on property is very expensive. We went just slightly down the beach to Nancy's and had a couples massage for only $120 (but if you're modest, be prepared to not be lol) - Club side includes a free hydrotherapy session at the Spa and was incredible!!! - The Lobster House and Agave were our other two favorite restaurants. Very very good. - We went in July and unfortunately this is sargassm season. Earlier in the year there would have been nothing there, but wasn't a huge deal to us. - Be sure to tip 1-2 dollars per drink and around $10 at dinner (at least that's what we did). The American dollar goes a long way down here and can also make the service all that much better! - We also made great new friends from this group!! Shout out to Paul and Stacy! Our second time at an Excellence location and it is ALWAYS excellent (fitting for the name). Shows and activities are always top tier (Fun Bingo, Michael Jackson, Magic, Circus, Pottery, Bracelet and Amber Jewelery, Chocolate Tasting…to name a few) and the entertainment team (Cherelyn aka Honey, Maria aka Nicki Minaj, Michael aka Joy Boy, Pumba, Coca Cola, and Cappuccino). The pool and ocean were great and thanks to our Excellence Club pool concierge, Hendriux, we always had a great seat, dry towels and full cups! All of the food we ate was delicious and the staff throughout were very knowledgeable. The list of helpful staff is too large to remember everyone but some highlights are below.
