Excellence Punta Cana

My wife and I finally had the opportunity to go on an all-inclusive vacation with long time friends. We decided on Excellence Punta Cana, a 45 minute drive from airport in Punta Cana. When we arrived, we were greeted by a welcoming staff member with champaign. The registration process was quick and seamless. The atmosphere was inviting and we were eager to begin our vacation. The Ocean-View Junior Suite, with its king-size bed, couch, and balcony, had more than enough space. This was our first experience at an all-inclusive resort, so we could not compare it to other resorts. I will say that Excellence Punta Cana provided a great balance between fun and relaxation. After breakfast in The Kitchen Table, we got ready for our day poolside. The pool was clear, overlooking the ocean. Make sure to set up camp near Sol Bar, where Kendry and his staff will make/pour you a great drink and make you smile and laugh all day long. I will say the food is on the average side, but there are many options to choose from the various restaurants on the property. There are plenty of activities to do as well from crafts, yoga, bingo, volleyball, tennis and pickleball (to name a few). The entertainment staff is second to none! Shout out to Coca Cola and his crew for an enjoyable week. Special shoutouts to Honey for her dancing skills, Cappuccino for his eagerness to get to know the patrons and to Nicki Manaj for treating us so well (I'm glad I was your ayudante during the facial mud wraps). The resort staff was busy making sure everything was clean. The shows at night were entertaining. It was definitely a great value. We vacationed in early June and we did not have to wait for drinks at the bar and we did not feel crowded at all. All in all, we had a great time.

The staff was very friendly, and accommodating. The food was pretty much better than any all inclusive I’ve been to. The rooms were cleaned twice daily. The pools were clean. Looks like the pictures I promise.

We loved our stay at Excellence Punta Cana. The pools are amazing and their drinks are delicious. We are in our 50s and most people that we met were in their 40s/50s. It had a relatively low-key vibe and younger people might not enjoy it as much as we did. The pools and restaurants were never too crowded and you could always find a lounge chair at the pools, which I have heard can be an issue at some other resorts. I would highly recommend this resort if you are looking for a relaxing vacation.

We belong to the club, all my friends were in building one and two they put me and my husband in building 11 I asked to be moved closer but they told me they didn’t have any availability. We did not get fruit or champagne. We did not get any cookies or brownies and I had to ask twice for a fan.

Came here for our wedding/honeymoon. Second time here. It was a beautiful place to stay amd celebrate. Very friendly people ans service. As it is in the name, everything was excellente!
