You know the cost cutting for food is bad when the Ramen at the Hibachi sushi place uses angel hair pasta rather than Ramen noodles. Yeah those Top Ramen pack prices must really be rising.

Beautiful scenery outside the room. Gardens were exceptional and the pools were immaculate. Exceptional spa service.

Everyone was extremely nice and welcoming and really added to our first ever resort experience. Absolutely loved Ony, Cappuccino, Michael, Pumpa, Maria, Rhomer, Vidal, Luis H., Jorgi, Emely, Baez, Emely, and so so many more were all amazing!! Plátano Power y muchas gracias por todo!!

I’m writing this review while sitting on the property. My husband and I arrived yesterday. He is handicapped and has severe mobility issues. After attempting to walk around the resort, we realized that we needed a motorized scooter. We inquired about renting one and was shown a website with a price of $35 per day. After we agreed, the price conveniently increased to $40 per day AND a $25 delivery fee. Bringing my total to $185, or so I thought . I still agreed to proceed because he’s physically unable to manage walking the property on his own. I withdrew $11,000 pesos from the hotel ATM. It charged me a 6% fee. The representative stated that the currency rate changed daily. This brought my total to $257. 00. After all of this, I was told that I still owed an additional $2 in US currency. So this cost me just shy of $260. Make it make sense because I could’ve purchased a brand new scooter for this price. The room and food are fine but I totally feel scammed under the circumstances. I’ve visited DR several times and this is my first and last time at this resort. Never again!!

We had a great time! The resort was beautiful, the rooms were comfortable, the service was good, and the food was good. We spent our days at the beach and it was wonderful. The beach itself is beautiful, the ocean does have large waves and some seaweed, but still swimmable everyday, and the loungers at the beach are very comfy! Reison was the excellence club beach coordinator and he was awesome! He always made us feel welcomed each morning, would set up our chairs how we like, and would check in throughout the day. He always had a friendly smile and was so kind! Thank you, Reison.
