Dreadful customer service from a 5 star all-inclusive resort- took our money and kept it, no apologies.
*BEWARE*- If you need to adjust your reservation within 24 hours of checkin (for any reason, even out of your control, such as a flight cancellation due to weather) you are likely out of luck. We just lost $2,000+ to this resort and received zero assistance or any reasonable customer service from Excellence Punta Cana to find a solution. As a “5 star property” with a collection of resorts, we (naively) anticipated better guest treatment. Please note that we only wanted to rebook our stay- we did not want a refund, not a partial refund, not any return of the money we had already paid in advance of our stay- just the option to use the already paid sum for other dates, as we were physically unable to check in on our original date and stranded at an airport. Not an option, they took our $ and kept it. Please beware and purchase solid trip insurance if you do book here. Just getting a person on the phone to speak with took multiple calls and hours on hold. Our experience with Excellence Punta Cana has been the worst customer service I’ve ever had with an all-inclusive resort (Cancun, Ocho Rios, Negril, etc.). We will never be back to any of their properties.

Great experience!
Excellent resort, great staff and amenities. Like any resort, there is always some hit or miss with food but overall food was good and you won’t go hungry! Great coffee and ice cream at Aroma. Lots of birds and nice rooms, decor, etc. Nice beach as well!

Excellente! The resort is beautiful, what makes the trip though is the warm and welcoming staff! We will definitely be back!

This resort was FABULOUS! You are totally taken care of. When you arrive you receive a glass of champagne, a cool towel to wipe your face and hands, and a big “Welcome Home!". I am very big on service and the service I received at the Excellence Punta Cana was unmatched. Plus it's only for adults… so no screaming kids! The food was very good and they offer premium drinks. I would stay there again anytime.
