Excellence Punta Cana

Hector made our stay exceptional at check-in by serving white wine and champagne in our room. Every day, Jose and Dignira attended to our events and celebrations with great kindness. We received first-rate service and insightful food recommendations from the Magna staff both morning and evening.

Overall resort was very clean and well maintained. Service definitely lacked at the kitchen table. There were several times we were sat and never waited on for drinks. Food was not our favorite

We loved staying here! The beach was beautiful and the waves were fun to play in. Juan Carlos was amazing and made sure we always had a spot on the beach. Micaela at Aroma remembered my order and got it right away when i walked in. Solomon at The Grill was quick and his service was impeccable. Bernardino at the poker table was the best! We played multiple days in a row because of him. All the drinks and bar staff were delicious and quickly made. I also really Enjoyed playing fun bingo and all the shows at night.

The overall food quality throughout the resort has been disappointing. After sharing our concerns, both Hannah Cook and Raquel assured us they would prepare a special authentic sancocho for us at 1:30 PM on Wednesday at Oregano. We arrived early at 1:25 PM, only to be told by Raquel that they hadn’t even started it. They apologized and promised to make it up to us the following day before our flight. Unfortunately, 11:00 AM came and there was still no sancocho prepared. It felt like we were repeatedly told what we wanted to hear, without any real follow-through. While they may mean well, the lack of commitment and consistency from management was very disappointing.

Excellence hotel maintains excellent through its staff and beauty. I just want to take some time to acknowledge a few people that made my stay, excellent. Miguel Angel was a smiling face as soon as I arrived, Erika and the entire Sol Bar staff, Jose with the entertainment group and Katty in the cafe! Wonderful people!
