Excellence Punta Cana

We had a good time. The sports bar and French restaurant were our favorite places. The pool bar is fun.

Just returned home. My review. First, started with pick up from airport. Simple. Nice Cadillac Escalade. Arrived at resort. Handed champaign. Went to check in. There was confusion with my reservation but finally after a half hour it was sorted out. Anebel was amazing. So nice and friendly. Our room was amazing. Rm 14001. Walk right out to pool, the bar and the ocean. The grounds are beautiful. Everyday they are cleaning, landscaping, painting and cleaning. Housekeeping was great. Came early and would be done by the time we were back from breakfast I never saw them but did a good job. Liked the turn down service. One night didn’t receive but that was fine Entertainment was ok. Could have been a little better. The DJs were good, the shows were a little above mediocre. I have to say the Super Bowl party was great! And being Patriots fans, sadly we did not win lol, a lot of effort was put in! Ok now the two things that were a bit of a turn off and not sure I would return. The food!!! Presentation was always beautiful but everything was blah. No seasoning. Always came out lukewarm. I can’t say I enjoyed much of anything. We went to Oreganos, Lobster House which was one of the better ones and The steakhouse. I am a foodie so I am particular. The Kitchen had a couple of things that were ok and for breakfast it was nice getting the omelet mostly because it was something hot. The juice would have been sooo much better if they kept it on ice at least. I have to say I did have many delicious desserts lol and the coffee place (I can’t think of the name because I’m so tired and this is too long of a review lol) was my favorite. The best coffee!!!! Went 2-3 times a day haha The other thing that was a disappointment was the pool. Such a beautiful pool but it should be HEATED!! It was very cold and heard lots of people saying the same thing. Not many people were even using it. PLEASE heat the pool at this time of year Ok. That’s my rant. I did have a wonderful time and have to say the staff were all amazing. Especially Anabel!! I will miss hearing “Hola” every morning😊. This is my opinion and mine only. We all have our own experiences

the food was the best we have ben to many all inclusive resorts this was the best rest of the property was great pool ,rooms ,view we had a great time
