Best adult family vacation
We’re had the best time here at the Excellence Resort, Punta Cana, DR. Wake up every morning with the best breakfast, followed by the sun and sand at the beach. Juan Carlos is fantastic and sets us up with our chairs under the umbrella. The staff here is Fantastic. Not a minute goes by that somebody is not offerings us beverages. We discovered a ‘Frre Play’ Texas Holdem game every day at 3 and the Berdinardo, the staff dealer, goes his best to make this fun and exciting. Last night dinner at The Grill was our favorite. Solomon, our server, made dinner the best we have had this trip. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Dominican.

Beautiful hotel. Didn’t like the $500 deposit when you first get I already paid for the room a few months ago. Great service all around!

Excellent as always
We have been here before, but it was prior to the remodel. The previous bathroom design was better, but moving the club area all to the North side of the resort is great. That was a wonderful change. Some minor service issues that you get at any large resort, but overall staff was amazing. Food was very solid, but not the best we have had at a resort. The bedding was unnecessarily warm, which for the DR is not needed . Parts of the remodel are still going on also.

Excellence is a strong word
The grounds at Excellence are lovely and well maintained. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The rooms are in dire need of an update and the food at most restaurants was subpar.

This resort was FABULOUS! You are totally taken care of. When you arrive you receive a glass of champagne, a cool towel to wipe your face and hands, and a big “Welcome Home!". I am very big on service and the service I received at the Excellence Punta Cana was unmatched. Plus it's only for adults… so no screaming kids! The food was very good and they offer premium drinks. I would stay there again anytime.
