Don't get fooled by the 5 star reviews
Definitely far from perfect but decent for what you are paying for. Stayed for 7 nights. Shows are super limited and mediocre. (Only one a night). Performers in general lack professionalism and talent. (Dancers, magician, etc.), and you can see it reflected in the crowd as almost nobody is thrilled or clapping. Servers are just okay; service level is questionable at most restaurants. I found the best ones to be The Grill, Isabelle (shoutout to chef John) and Magna (exclusive to Excellence Club rooms). Don't bother going to any others as you'll find the best menus at these 3. Beach was great, clean and never had an issue finding a bed. Room was nice, clean and quiet. Was able to get great sleep on their comfy beds. Did not like the whole shower door situation, giving you almost no privacy as it connects both to the main corridor as well as to the room (glass door both ways).

Reison was amazing and so much fun . He’s very helpful and knows everything , he’s the best , give him a raise!!!

The staff was great overall great service. Our room service order was forgotten one time and the shrimp at the lobster house was very overcooked but overall we had a great honeymoon and would definitely recommend to others

Fantastic resort. You won’t be disappointed
We have been to multiple all inclusive resorts and this is one of the best. Amazing scenery, great service and fantastic food. Staff makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. Would highly recommend.

This resort was FABULOUS! You are totally taken care of. When you arrive you receive a glass of champagne, a cool towel to wipe your face and hands, and a big “Welcome Home!". I am very big on service and the service I received at the Excellence Punta Cana was unmatched. Plus it's only for adults… so no screaming kids! The food was very good and they offer premium drinks. I would stay there again anytime.
