Excellence Punta Cana

My husband and I had the absolute best time on our honeymoon! We spent a week at this resort and everything was amazing. The resort itself is tropical and situated along a more private section of the beach so there isn’t another resort on top of it. The pool is spread along the resort with a plethora of chairs spread out along the pools and beach offering space from others. The restaurants were ranging good to fantastic without much of a wait. The staff and service and exceptional. The cons we noticed would be the water being rough most days, however it is quite shallow and if you are a strong enough swimmer you can make the best of it. We did book an Dunn Buggy excursion through seasons at the resort and this was probably the worst part of our trip. The excursion was chaotic, disorganized and disappointing to say the least. Overall we had a great time and can’t wait to hopefully return!!

I was only able to be here for a five day stay but this property won my heart. The people of DR are to thank for that. What a beautiful property, all the staff from the front desk to the grounds workers were incredibly nice. Drinks were delicious, service top notch, food was plentiful, diverse and a great experience. My bed was comfy, the room was so nice and the spot we were in made this whole trip a dream. Hoenstly I don't have complaints because anything that was ever wrong was rectified or such a non issue. Like getting double bacon for room service because of an English miscommunication, like who can be mad! Thanks to everyone during this stay and there are just too many names my brain couldn't hold on to even though they made the whole week a dream. Miguel, you are just amazing at keeping the energy up and making guests feel so comfortable. Thank you! The spa staff, the staff at kitchen table, the excellence club staff (david, a fun check in really set the tone for a great time!) my time was excellent and I can't wait to come back!

My girlfriend and I spent about 5 days here at the resort. It’s a truly beautiful beach and all we had to do was walk down a flight of stairs before we found ourselves on a chair. The staff is incredible. They are so kind, warm, and fun. They really go above and beyond in terms of service. The only criticism we have is the quality of food. Chez Isabelle was delicious and the Kitchen Table had some great buffet selections however, The grill, Agave, and Oregano had some really underwhelming food. Extremely accessible though. Whenever you need a drink or need to eat, you can find either or in front of you within 10-15 minutes. The most important this is we feel recovered, relaxed, and excited to see what else Excellence has to offer.

The hotel was very nice and the experience was amazing. Mister solutions (Miguel) was really helpful! Will definitely come back.

Great gym, service was great. Food average. Coffee shop was excellent. We had a private pool room, would not recommend, it’s freezing, not in the sun, and not private enough, neighbors are right next to you if outside. The room was constantly damp and musty. The coffee shop was wonderful. I normally love Italian food, but everything on the menu had fish or shrimp which I do not eat.
