Terrible Customer Service
Terrible customer service. I have been trying to upgrade my reservation to an Excellence Club Suite for months since booking in December (it is now February). I was told in December that it would be no issue to do it upon arrival. Worrying that there wouldn't be a room available, I have been calling for months to try and upgrade the reservation, but it is extremely difficult to get in touch with their customer service. You wait on hold for 20+ minutes just for their phone system to hang up on you, then you have to go to the back of the queue. Millie finally picked up the phone today and was incredibly rude, had no desire to help me, and finally informed me that all the Excellence Club rooms were booked and there was nothing he could do. I cannot emphasize enough how rude this rep (Millie) was. If I was able to cancel my reservation, I would. PSA to anyone looking into this resort, Excellence Club Rewards does NOT get you access to Excellence Club.

Martin, Melissa, Teresa, Juan Carlos, Luis Felipe, and Alfredo (for the room) helped immensely! They’re stars! Emeily at the front desk is super kind too!

A sunny vacation for the winter blues
Beautiful resort- had a great time reading and soaking up the sun at the beach and pools. Tasty drinks at the Excellence Club Bar. Shoutout to Juan Carlos (Beach Concierge) for going above and beyond. Would 10/10 recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing vacation. Not a foodie destination, but we came for the warmth and views!

Paradise
This place is Paradise. The people here are so friendly. We were treated like royalty ( especially Kelvin and Jonathan). Best massage I’ve ever gotten at their spa. I liked the hydrotherapy, too

This resort was FABULOUS! You are totally taken care of. When you arrive you receive a glass of champagne, a cool towel to wipe your face and hands, and a big “Welcome Home!". I am very big on service and the service I received at the Excellence Punta Cana was unmatched. Plus it's only for adults… so no screaming kids! The food was very good and they offer premium drinks. I would stay there again anytime.
