1st time coming here and I had a slew of issues that took far too many requests and days to resolve. My shower drain was clogged and flooded my room day one, beverage and snacks service was lacking until about the 4th day and my registering a complaint, then that was fixed. The food is very hit or miss but expected far better than what we had most days and the drinks and wine selection was pretty lacking as well. The bed was hard as rock. I did enjoy my room service personnel. They did a great job cleaning each day. The coffee bar was very nice as well. The steakhouse did have a good steak with our one night event and we did like the hibachi night dinner as well.

Everything was so great from beginning to end. Airport/hotel transfer was easy and check-in was a breeze. I’ve stayed at multiple Paradisus properties and this is by far the most stunning. This resort is located right on the beach & has multiple restaurants and pools for your choosing. Given that this is an all-inclusive, the food was pretty decent. My favorite was Flora. Felix was our concierge and he was amazing! He helped us get settled in from our first day to our last day. Checked in with us every day, made sure we had our dinner reservations, and that we had a comfortable stay through our trip. This trip was also for my birthday and he had our room decorated … it was a nice surprise after a day at the beach. Highly recommend him if you’re thinking about going.

Staff, food, drinks, service, rooms and beach are all amazing. Christian, Yanira, Daniella and Felix all stand out as wonderful, they made the trip for us and we can't wait to go back. We had a swim out room in the Nikte section and we loved every minute of it. We highly recommend the yoga / beach experience. Bottom Line, don't listen to the negative reviews!!!!

The service is horrible in this resort. It took 3 people and a supervisor to get us checked in. We booked various rooms, but the rooms in the same tier have different standards of amenities. The supervisors do not help and they don’t care if they mess up. In fact, Fernando blamed us that he didn’t understand what we wanted. Mind you we spoke in his native language Spanish and repeated it multiple times. Service to the rooms, call them like 4 times to get anything. We even had a part of the family say in the Nikete level, they paid more money for even worse service. They actually didn’t anything they were promised and the lower end rooms where nice then the more expensive room. They had issues with their room from the start of the trip and their dedicated concierge was a complete lie, he didn’t show up and didn’t help. Activities are scarce. The food was okay. But for the price, go to another resort and have a blast. This one looks like they painted it from falling apart and the service was terrible.
