The Reserve at Paradisus Punta Cana

My fiancé and I spent 5 days being treated like royalty. The most friendly staff I’ve ever encountered at a resort. Any hiccups were resolved immediately. The food was phenomenal must try the Dominican short ribs at Flora, birria tacos at blue agave and all the freshest fruit you could ask for. Luis and the staff at kicks sports go above and beyond to make sure you’re treated right. Delana (Dee) at the pool bar is the sweetest kindest person. Also Jorge at the swim up is a legend. Cant wait to go back!!!

The resort is absolutely stunning; very luxurious. I booked an oceanfront suite that was more than I would have imagined. The buffet had numerous options to choose from; however, with dietary restrictions and food allergies, I found it difficult to find something to eat, and when I did, it was subpar. Their dining reservations process was disappointing for a someone visiting for the first time. My recommendation: IMMEDIATELY after checkin (if before 5pm), go book your reservations for the restaurants you want to try. Otherwise you’ll be stuck with the buffet for dinner.

Beautiful resort property with well manicured grounds. Great pools and beach areas. Nice rooms. Overall food was very good but quality of service was very inconsistent in restaurants. Spent extra to be in the Reserve area but found the concierge amenity to be more of a challenge than a luxury.

Glows- The grounds are beautiful. The beach is well maintained too. The adult only pool and 90 Degree swim up bar was a favorite. The lobby bar, Ginger, was also good. We had a variety of mixed drinks at these bars that were quite good, unlike at some of the others. We enjoyed Blue Agave Mexican and the Hibachi restaurant. We also got room service which was good. The Junior Garden Suite was fine. We did not need to upgrade to The Reserve. Adult pool was relaxing. Plenty of chairs. Pool bar was great. Grows- Very disappointed in the buffet. The hot food was cold. We gave this multiple tries, but same results. The only food that was hot was the toast and made to order eggs. Some of the food tasted stale like French toast, pancakes, desserts and tortilla chips. The buffet is a nice space but providing hot food is a must. Our room’s mini fridge was not working. They replaced it and it still did not get cold. We gave up. Housekeeping came at 5:00 which seemed late.

If you want to experience a top notch resort with everyone from the time you enter the grounds until you leave for the airport, this is the place for you! 10 out of 10!
