What an amazing place! If you want a beautiful, tropical, private, and peaceful experience, this is the perfect place. The rooms were luxurious and very private. The scenery was lush tropics, with a quiet pool and beach, both beautifully maintained. The staff was so friendly and kind, and never overbearing. We researched this place to ensure it was LGTBQ+ friendly, which it is. We are a lesbian couple, and I can say that while most guests there appeared to be straight couples, we never felt uncomfortable. We were never miscoupled (i.e. no one asked where our husbands were or if we wanted twin beds vs the king we reserved, etc). We highly recommend this gem. We were so sad to leave.

We chose Zoetry Agua Punta Cana because we were looking for a small, boutique resort that was adult oriented without a party scene. The landscaping and grounds were absolutely beautiful and we were amazed at the cleanliness of the entire property. We stayed in a Romanic Junior Suite Agua Swim Up. The room was clean, beautiful, comfortable, and enormous! The food, particularly our dinners, exceeded our expectations. While there are only three dinner restaurants on property, the menus change every night, which makes it feel like there are six restaurants. For example, Olena might have an Italian menu one night, and a Caribbean Menu the next night. The beach was beautiful, regularly cleared of seaweed and debris. The surf was usually gentle, but seemed to pick up later in the afternoon. It was easy to find an available palapa to sit under. We enjoyed having food and beverage service available to us so that we didn't have to take our eyes off the gorgeous water. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and truly made us feel welcome. We particularly enjoyed having Alejandra take care of us while we were on the beach, our daily conversations with Leidi at Indigo, and by having our concierge Jose making sure we had everything we needed. If there is anything to criticize, it would be appointment that's scheduled for you the day after your arrival, to earn $200 in resort credits. Fortunately, we saw right through this as some sort of timeshare/sales pitch and just skipped it. We never felt pressured or harassed for skipping our appointment, but it did irk us a little bit. We are here for rest and relaxation and don't care to waste 90 minutes of our vacation listening to a sales pitch that we have no interest in. Overall, we sought a resort that would provide rest and relaxation. Zoetry Agua exceeded our expectations. We left feeling recharged, happy, and looking forward to a return trip. We truly had a wonderful time!

My wife and I had our debit card stolen while at this resort. The day of our departure, we had $2,500 withdrawn from our account by an ATM machine in the Dominican Republic. The resort will likely say that we could have misplaced the card at another point. I'll let you be the judge: - We took the resort shuttle to the property - We remained on resort grounds the entire duration of our trip - We took the resort shuttle to the airport We tried to address this with the resort, but they refused to make any amends. Honestly just a bafflingly poor customer service experience.

We travelled to Zoetry Agua Punta Cana in April 2026 as a couple. We had a wonderful stay. The resort was gorgeous. The grounds were stunning and full of tropical foliage. The grounds crew do amazing work. This is a perfect resort for those who want a relaxing and quiet vacation. It is a small all inclusive- the smallest we have ever been to- and after this I'm not sure I can return to a large one again! Food: The food here is very good. All sit down restaurants and no reservations took our relaxation to a whole new level. My only caveat to this is to people who are looking for "American food". I did not see typical American offerings such as burgers or chicken fingers. Now they may make those if asked but as we were happy with the offerings I never even thought to ask. Our favorite food was the lunch presented daily on the beach- Feliciano the chef was friendly and made some of the tastiest food we have ever had. Room: Stunning and luxurious. We were in a third floor room overlooking one of the pools surrounding the resort. We loved being up high and seeing the views and birds. We loved our palapa ceiling as well. The room was a perfect mix of island charm and modern amenities. The bed was very comfortable, AC worked well, mini bar stocked and it had all the luxury amenities you could want/need- including hair dryer, clothes steamer and large umbrella. Staff: always friendly and helpful- Special thanks to Dio our concierge, Jose the Sommelier and Julio at the beach lunch. Activities/Spa: Spa is beautiful- We took a sound bath class there as well as used the hydro circuit. We did not do a spa service but now regret it as we heard the massages were very good. There are activities offered daily which is really nice. I would have appreciated a few more offerings but I also understand it could be hard to offer too many more given the size of the resort. We will definitely return to this resort and would highly recommend it to others. I would caution a few things though. If you are looking for a party atmosphere this is not your place. Also we did see families with children a variety of ages. It in no way impacted our stay but as a parent myself I would not bring young children here as there just didnt seem like there was enough for them to do as well the water being very rough on the days we were there with a strong undercurrent. I would also not recommend if a person has significant mobility issues. I read past reviews with concerns in this area and I would agree- there are not steps or zero entry areas for the pools. Additionally there is a bit of walking required to get to the different parts of the resort. Finally if you are prone to bug bites bring and use bug spray daily.

We stayed 5 nights. Overall, it was an Ok experience… Positives- the staff was amazing! Kind, accommodating, and trying hard to make our stay enjoyable. The resort and the pools are beautiful, quiet, and always have enough space. Grounds are well-maintained. Negatives-FOOD! Most dishes were below average, and some were simply bad. I skipped meals and did not touch certain dishes like breakfast waffles, falafel wrap, Mediterranean chicken….etc. The breakfast food was cooked with old smelly oil. Sometimes we had to wait 50 mns to get our breakfast. Pastries and bread were old at every meal. The cafe was a good idea, but none of the pastries were edible-they were dry, old, and tasted terrible. I honestly started wondering if they are making pastries purposefully bad so people don’t eat much. No utensils in the cafe- frappes were good. It's a "wellness" spa where they sell cigars at every corner and people smoke in the pool:) Mexican and fusion dinners were better. Spa was fine- massage was good, but towels smelled moldy:) WORST: unlimited vacation club (UVC) scam! We were tricked into sitting through 90 minutes of presentation to sign up for $298,000 vacation package:) of course we did not sign up for the package! They never gave us clear information what we were signing for. 1) “come to VIP desk tomorrow for your coupons” why not now? “No come tomorrow morning “2) we come back next day and get some non sense $10-$40 coupons that you can’t combine and then again “come back tomorrow “to learn about our resort for 20 mns” and you will get another $200 coupons - why not now? “No, tomorrow “ 3) we came back and were stuck in an aggressive sales pitch- 3-4 people coming and leaving with random numbers, handwritten notes that kept changing when we insisted multiple times “we were not interested in UVC”. Honestly, it left me angry at the end! This is NOT a LUXURY. You don’t treat guests like this in a luxury resort. After this experience, I lost trust in the resort’s services. Please check reviews on the Unlimited Vacation club (UVC) before you decide to sign:) there is even New York Times article about it being a scam:) Anyway, if you are really looking for true luxury and quality and appreciate good food, this resort is not for you. Sorry- we won’t be back.

This place is paradise. I have traveled to beaches the world over and this place is it! The cuisine is artful (I had never had breakfasts like these - they are terrific). The sand is fine-grained. The buildings are thatched-roof with native materials. The staff harvests coconuts from the trees daily. The ocean is emerald green near shore, crystal blue at a distance, and royal blue on the horizon. The rooms are oversized, with exquisite fixtures and slate facilities. The sitting porch provides an uncluttered view of the ocean. They speak English here, and the serving staff is relentless. As you relax in a wooden lounge on the beach, fresh bottled water appears. Later, when you awake, a frozen drink is sitting next to you. This place is not crowded and is intended to provide the isolation you deserve!

Zoetry is Pure Poetry.
Everything you HOPE for in an all-inclusive is presented exquisitely. Not a single buffet in sight. All meals are freshly prepared, even our special order paella. The seafood was so fresh I could have sworn I saw a staff member emerge from the ocean with my catch. From the moment you arrive, you know you are entering a private and exclusive resort - so much so, there's no name on the gate. An open entryway, extremely hospitable staff and very inviting accommodations. They have clearly thought of every possible detail - even on rainy days. Just don't fool yourself into thinking a quick trip will suffice.
