Reposeful, Languid, and Indulgent, three words to describe our experience. Special thanks go out to Alejandra and Wilca who kept the margaritas flowing at the beach, always with a beautiful smile and warm greetings, to Gabriel for making the best ginger mojitos, to José (J.J.) for going out of his way to help us with our commute to the airport, to Simon for delivering our room service breakfast every morning while carrying the heavy tray all the way to our beachfront on his shoulder, with courtesy, a smile, and a buenas dia. And finally Emmanuel, who greeted and escorted us to our room with a joie de vivre that couldn’t have been more genuine. Way to go. The staff makes all the difference. And I almost forgot, Martha did a phenomenal job cleaning our room every day, she communicated with us to accommodate the cleaning at the time that best suited, with a pure smile and a hola, genuinely seemed to enjoy her work. There must be something in the water, or perhaps the culture, at this resort. Amazing all-around. It should also be noted that the beach is quiet, such a great location, the staff keep it clean, pick up the weeds with pitch forks and trim the hedges manually, keeping it quiet and serene. Super!

My only hesitation in writing this review is that I might price myself out of our next vacation when others read about this - we will be back. This is a level of luxury we've never experienced before in our trips to all-inclusive resorts (a dozen or more). It's also without a doubt the healthiest trip I've taken. The food is beautifully prepared and presented, the gym facilities recently upgraded, and the beach is spectacular. In addition to all this, the guest services are beyond compare, starting with "welcome home" as we arrived. Our concierge, Alejandro, checked in regularly, without being intrusive, and when we did have a need, went above and beyond to see that we were well looked after. We were greeted by name at whatever restaurant we were in (there are several, all very good, and no reservations required), and inevitably returned from supper to find our bed turned down. We're leaving today but already have given neighbours our recommendation. And as mentioned above, we will be back. Denise and Phil

A truly outstanding experience. The resort grounds are among the most beautiful I have seen. The landscaping was something to behold. The rooms were well appointed, modern , clean, and welcoming. Best of all was the welcoming staff. A special shout out to Jose S. , our host, Chamelle and Leidy at the Indigo restaurant, and Simon at the poolside bar service. They make you feel like you are a guest in their home. Our family of 5 had an amazing experience. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful resort. Came with our adult children. This resort is completely disconnected from all the other resorts and is one of the furthest for pickups for excursions. It’s isolated, peaceful and quiet. Staff are incredibly welcoming. We did spurge on a dip pool room with ocean view and were sorely disappointed in the room we were given. We were right on the edge of the property and view was of barbed wire and maintenance pipes every time we left the room. View of beach was partially obstructed by the water sports hut. We asked several times to be moved. Even though nearby suites were empty, this was not accommodated. Our kids had a beautiful room with a canopied bed on the porch. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. The advertised $200 resort credit is a sales pitch for the vacation club. We were only able to use about $60 of the credits in the spa. The rest were for $10 off a bottle of wine and $60 off a private dinner booking. Food was incredible. Drinks were plentiful and nicely made- high end. Nightly entertainment ranges from amazing to meh. Flamenco show was my favorite. Yoga and spa were nice. This is a place for people who want a chill break. Just be sure to ask for a room in the center of the property.

I had a wonderful stay at the Zoetry. The resort is small and there are many fun activities to get to know fellow guests which made the vacation so much fun and so memorable. The staff at the resort were so friendly, attentive and accommodating. Special shout out to the entertainment team of Gilberto, Benjamin and Tonya for all they do for the guests. The activities included with our stay made the vacation extra special. The only reason this stay got 4 stars was due to the biting bugs. Bring strong bug spray and cortisone cream. The no-see-ums got me at the afternoon tea area and my friend was attacked by them and the mosquitoes. They itch! It made it difficult to be out at night to enjoy the resort.

This place is paradise. I have traveled to beaches the world over and this place is it! The cuisine is artful (I had never had breakfasts like these - they are terrific). The sand is fine-grained. The buildings are thatched-roof with native materials. The staff harvests coconuts from the trees daily. The ocean is emerald green near shore, crystal blue at a distance, and royal blue on the horizon. The rooms are oversized, with exquisite fixtures and slate facilities. The sitting porch provides an uncluttered view of the ocean. They speak English here, and the serving staff is relentless. As you relax in a wooden lounge on the beach, fresh bottled water appears. Later, when you awake, a frozen drink is sitting next to you. This place is not crowded and is intended to provide the isolation you deserve!

Zoetry is Pure Poetry.
Everything you HOPE for in an all-inclusive is presented exquisitely. Not a single buffet in sight. All meals are freshly prepared, even our special order paella. The seafood was so fresh I could have sworn I saw a staff member emerge from the ocean with my catch. From the moment you arrive, you know you are entering a private and exclusive resort - so much so, there's no name on the gate. An open entryway, extremely hospitable staff and very inviting accommodations. They have clearly thought of every possible detail - even on rainy days. Just don't fool yourself into thinking a quick trip will suffice.
