Yelliin was a wonderful hostess at multiple restaurants. She was warm, welcoming, and memorable, and always made us feel comfortable. Jose Balbuena and Santiago led the wine tasting and created a great experience. Santiago also hosted our dinner and provided excellent service throughout the evening. Our concierge was kind, attentive, and very helpful during our stay. When I wasn’t feeling well one day, he went out of his way to help us find what we needed, which we truly appreciated. We also had consistently positive interactions with staff across dining, front desk, housekeeping, and bell services. Service overall is a strong point of this resort. The resort itself is beautiful. The pools are especially nice, although at times there was some debris, likely from the surrounding trees. Food was mixed. Breakfast, Mexican, and Asian meals were the highlights of the trip. Other meals were more average. One area for improvement would be food temperature, as some dishes arrived cooler than expected. Drinks were average overall. Some cocktails leaned more sweet than expected, but the wine selection was very good. The café is a great concept, and the frappes were very enjoyable. Some pastries seemed a bit dry. Activities could be more consistent. Some started later than scheduled or were difficult to locate, and a few did not take place as expected. We also booked a private yacht through Am Star for a late afternoon departure. Shortly after booking, we needed to cancel due to unexpected circumstances. Because of the timing, we were not able to make changes within their policy. In terms of the boat itself, it did not fully match our expectations for a private experience. The seating areas showed noticeable wear, and the overall condition did not feel aligned with the price point. The captain, however, was excellent—professional, kind, and attentive—and was a highlight of that experience. If booking excursions, I would recommend confirming details about the specific boat and reviewing cancellation policies in advance. Overall, this is a great resort with exceptional customer service. With some improvements to food temperature, activity consistency, and premium dining options, the experience could be even better. We would consider returning.

Very relaxing resort for my wife and myself. The staff was very friendly and helpful from the time you arrived until the time you left. The ground were very tropical and pristine. The rooms were remodeled the last few months. We book a Romantic Terrance room, which was one that over looked the length of lazy river pool to the ocean. After going around the resort all room over looked one of the pools. We had Room 252 if you are looking for a great room view. The balcony for the room had a day bed and table with chairs. This is a place to relax near the edge of the pool or on the beach with a thatch umbrella and chairs. Pool bar and servers help you all day long. Good top shelf service and drinks. We went horseback riding on beach which was included as part of the activities of the resort. They had pottery making, painting, pool cycling, yoga and spa. This resort is about 50 minutes from the airport and the last resort long the beach. That means you can walk over a mile on the beach with nothing but ocean and palm tress. The beach sand is very nice. The only down side was the noseeums which bit my wife one evening but not me. Make sure to bring bug repellent. The resort sprays daily so they are doing all they can.

Great hotel, if you are looking for a more quiet hotel and private beach vibe then this is the hotel for you. Takes a little longer to get there from the airport but worth it.

Reposeful, Languid, and Indulgent, three words to describe our experience. Special thanks go out to Alejandra and Wilca who kept the margaritas flowing at the beach, always with a beautiful smile and warm greetings, to Gabriel for making the best ginger mojitos, to José (J.J.) for going out of his way to help us with our commute to the airport, to Simon for delivering our room service breakfast every morning while carrying the heavy tray all the way to our beachfront on his shoulder, with courtesy, a smile, and a buenas dia. And finally Emmanuel, who greeted and escorted us to our room with a joie de vivre that couldn’t have been more genuine. Way to go. The staff makes all the difference. And I almost forgot, Martha did a phenomenal job cleaning our room every day, she communicated with us to accommodate the cleaning at the time that best suited, with a pure smile and a hola, genuinely seemed to enjoy her work. There must be something in the water, or perhaps the culture, at this resort. Amazing all-around. It should also be noted that the beach is quiet, such a great location, the staff keep it clean, pick up the weeds with pitch forks and trim the hedges manually, keeping it quiet and serene. Super!

My only hesitation in writing this review is that I might price myself out of our next vacation when others read about this - we will be back. This is a level of luxury we've never experienced before in our trips to all-inclusive resorts (a dozen or more). It's also without a doubt the healthiest trip I've taken. The food is beautifully prepared and presented, the gym facilities recently upgraded, and the beach is spectacular. In addition to all this, the guest services are beyond compare, starting with "welcome home" as we arrived. Our concierge, Alejandro, checked in regularly, without being intrusive, and when we did have a need, went above and beyond to see that we were well looked after. We were greeted by name at whatever restaurant we were in (there are several, all very good, and no reservations required), and inevitably returned from supper to find our bed turned down. We're leaving today but already have given neighbours our recommendation. And as mentioned above, we will be back. Denise and Phil

This place is paradise. I have traveled to beaches the world over and this place is it! The cuisine is artful (I had never had breakfasts like these - they are terrific). The sand is fine-grained. The buildings are thatched-roof with native materials. The staff harvests coconuts from the trees daily. The ocean is emerald green near shore, crystal blue at a distance, and royal blue on the horizon. The rooms are oversized, with exquisite fixtures and slate facilities. The sitting porch provides an uncluttered view of the ocean. They speak English here, and the serving staff is relentless. As you relax in a wooden lounge on the beach, fresh bottled water appears. Later, when you awake, a frozen drink is sitting next to you. This place is not crowded and is intended to provide the isolation you deserve!

Zoetry is Pure Poetry.
Everything you HOPE for in an all-inclusive is presented exquisitely. Not a single buffet in sight. All meals are freshly prepared, even our special order paella. The seafood was so fresh I could have sworn I saw a staff member emerge from the ocean with my catch. From the moment you arrive, you know you are entering a private and exclusive resort - so much so, there's no name on the gate. An open entryway, extremely hospitable staff and very inviting accommodations. They have clearly thought of every possible detail - even on rainy days. Just don't fool yourself into thinking a quick trip will suffice.
