This resort is perhaps one of the quietest we have ever been to. After a very stressful year, it actually took me a day or two to adjust to just HOW quiet and tranquil it was. :) It is small, intimate, easy to get around and absolutely beautiful pools/beach area. I love the loungers, availability of floats for the pool and the overall peacefulness of the resort. The rooms were spacious and had a nice bathroom (not much privacy in case you are traveling with friends vs. couples.) The gym was really small and very hot... preferred to just walk the beach (which is not typical for me when traveling) but the treadmill was one of a lower quality than I have at home. I do have to agree with a few other travelers reviews that while the people here were very kind and I would say we had some excellent service in some areas, there were others that really just didn't seem to go out of their way to help you or kind of just went through the motions (and we tipped for every meal because we do think that is the right thing to do). I was very disappointed in the butler and always felt we were bothering him (and we really asked for VERY few things while we were there). Yessica was amazing and always had a super smile and friendly, warm personality! They did present us with an amazing dinner in the private Wine Cellar restaurant for our birthdays, which was very nice but I have to say that the hospitality is Mexico is just hard to beat! It was not the fault of the resort but we did get covered in bug bites and we truly applied, applied, applied the bug spray day and night :(. I travel a lot and this was the first time that the bites became quite bothersome and irritating to say the least. Not sure what to recommend here but maybe it was the June time frame (did not rain, so it wasn't that it was too wet when we were there). Loved the backlit menus!!! Other resorts should take note of that! We loved to sit outdoors when we could (without the bug bites) but beware it is amazingly humid, so dress appropriately. It was mostly couples and a few families while we were there - would not bring teens here - unless they are good to sit and rest/read! Lobby bar was the main spot at night and right up our alley. As absolutely silent as it was during the day- the lobby was quite active at night. It was just enough for us but if you are looking for a lot of action, this is NOT your place!! Not all rooms have an ocean/pool view... unlike Zoetry Paraiso in Mexico - just a heads up. We were on the first floor and due to the bugs/humidity it was impossible to use our patio. The swim out rooms seemed lovely and may be worth it (especially summer months)... we could use the pools even if we didn't stay in one of those rooms, which was very nice too. Beach is GREAT for walking... could go for miles and it was a beautiful beach for sure! So, I guess I'd have to say I was mixed on the resort... some positives and some negatives. I wanted to try Punta Cana again (it has been 16 years since we were there) but honestly think we prefer the hospitality and essence the Mexican resorts offer instead. Zoetry as a hotel chain does live up to the expectations - don't hesitate to try one of their results if you are looking for quiet luxury!

Spent five days here in April 2017 for an incredibly peaceful break from life in the States. First thing to know is that Zoetry Agua has an amazing, secluded location that makes it east to forget about the normal day-to-day stress your regular life may bring. On that point alone, the resort is a hands-down success. But, in addition to its great location, the staff here has truly been above and beyond in their friendliness and attentiveness, even compared to other luxury resorts in the same class. The combination of location and service gives Zoetry Agua a definite spot on our repeat-resort list... Tip for potential guests: the butler service is excellent at the resort, but if you can request Juan, he is by far the best you can get -- no disrespect to any other Zoetry butlers, but Juan was at the top of his game the whole trip and did everything he could to make our trip perfect... highly recommended.

My butlers Ramón M and Ramón R. were wonderful. This is a relaxing place, and if you are looking for a party resort this may not be the place but that is why we picked it. Weather is wonderful, even when overcast you get sun (or burned if you aren't careful). The staff is attentive and caring about maximizing your experience. Highly recommend this resort. We are only half way through but know we will miss the people, the sun, the beach and the pool!

Wonderful All Inclusive resort with top notch staff who truly care about their guests. Juan our butler was fantastic. He was always available to help with any request and even arranged a special lunch and Anniversary dinner on the beach for us. Alejandro was beyond amazing at the pool bar. Alejandro was promoted to Butler while we were at the property. Wise choice on Zo√ętry's part. He is genuine, caring and accommodating. Highly recommend to request Juan or Alejandro as your butler! Yessica at Piragua restaurant is the best hostess I have ever encountered. Her smile is contagious and she will remember your names and room number after one meal. Hansel at Piragua is a joy too. He goes the extra mile to ensure your meal is enjoyable. If you are hanging at the Beach ask for Alba or Joel. They will keep the drinks coming with a smile! The only very small issue we had was that although the property is advertised as "Adults Only" (one of the reasons we chose Zo√ętry) there were several children at the resort. Several couples we met had the same sentiments. This in no way hindered the great experience we enjoyed at Zo√ętry. Juan even texted us post trip to make sure we made it home without an issue. That's going above and beyond in my book. Extra points to Juan for that nice touch. Thank you Team Zo√ętry for making our 10th Anniversary and truly wonderful experience! See you again soon! :-)

We had an amazing time at Zoetry they treated us like royalty. Everyone was very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay special. Our personal assistant Bayron and Roberto were always very friendly and willing to help with anything we needed. Exceptional service with big smiles. Our coordinator Stephanie arranged our wedding details and room upgrade. She was fantastic. Everything went smooth. My first trip here and I will come back for many more.
