ZOETRY Punta Cana was a nice break from all those resorts that have too much noise and activity pollution. As members, my wife and I stayed one week in a ocean-view room (not to be confused with 'oceanfront'). Very relaxing and nice. If you are looking for the bellowing music all day and a staffer with a microphone calling you up for water volleyball and the like, not your resort. Sure, some DJ music at night at the main bar but the very best of the entertainment came from one bartender at the main bar named Marcela. If I could actually upload a video to this site, you would hear hin sing after the main act went down.....and I mean, sing great.....just while making and pouring drinks....and I mean any and all songs. The nightlife is low key and there are four restaurants and you just go when you go, always room. If you want some extra activity and nightlife, just hop a $15 taxi for a 5 minute ride to Breathless, the sister resort nearby that has has all the cool, chic younger and more active crowd with live bands, lingerie runway shows, and the like. Great resort. Do the spa. John and Cindy Raskob

We had a fantastic getaway celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary! Anything you want or need is only a call away! Thank you for making our anniversary the trip of a lifetime!!! Alejandro was there to do anything we needed anytime we needed it! Highly recommend this resort if you are looking for a quiet place to get way!

The hotel is approx 30-40 mins car ride from the airport. The hotel is big enough to feel roomy but not so big that it is over whelming, the grounds are all flat and kept to a high standard. The beach huts are located directly onto the beach with a lovely view. The beach is open, long, none crowded. There is an issue with sea kelp which gets cleaned up twice daily on the very edge of the ocean. The waves break further out rather than on the edge of the sand which allows for a flat calm area to swim in. There are multiple places to eat I think 5. We tried 4 of them, we are experienced travellers and found the food to be average. Surprisingly the room service food which is included under all inclusive was the tastiest we ate during our trip. I think a lot of the food is produced ahead of service where as the room service food is made fresh to order. The food seemed overall pretentious to us, however the Italian was particularly good. The Caribbean was bland and a lot of the hot food we ordered came almost cold it was very average. One note I will make is the beach huts you would assume to be one story but they're in fact two story buildings, unfortunately we had a very noisy guest above us that woke us daily at 5am, the floors are wooden which means the constant stomping foot steps really carry, we never got to sleep past 5am. The butler service is a bit of a shambles, we got visited once daily by ours and were told you could message him via phone for anything you needed but other than once a day you never saw him. We never asked him for anything, I guess people just use them for booking activities for them. The beach staff are very very inattentive, you had to find someone each time you wanted a drink, get your own sun beds and towels, drinks and snacks. No one came to see if you wanted anything. The hotel is very peaceful and not over populated. One huge disappointment we had was that right bang smack outside our beach house door was a small wooden bar, this regularly occupied 2-4 staff. This meant at all times they were stood there with full view into our room, garden and private pool. They were looking directly in onto our bed and living area, this was really annoying as privacy was a big issue. If you wanted privacy your room had to be blacked out with all curtains shut which obviously meant no view. It seems totally stupid to me to put a staff beach bar right outside someone's big glass room doors. It meant that when the staff were not busy they were stood there looking straight into our room. I'm not sure if I would return I think there are better options. A pleasant stay none the less and the beach is good.

My fiancé and I just celebrated our 9 year anniversary with Zoetry Aqua. We were there for 7 days and I could have easily stayed 7 more! The grounds are absolutely stunning and have a very natural appearance. This is also a much smaller resort than some of the others in the area which we preferred! It was so quite and relaxing but still entertaining especially at the swim up bar. These bartenders really know how to make a drink....not watered down like some other all inclusive resorts. As far as food goes we really enjoyed all of the restaurant options....especially the Italian restaurant. Seriously one of the best lasagnas I have ever had :) Room service was good too....maybe not as good late at night which is understandable since I'm sure the staff is very limited. Still nothing to complain about. Maid service was also great....our room was kept clean and we never found ourselves needing anything like towels...etc. Last but not least we have to mention our butler Juan!!! <3 He was fantastic and truly made this trip special. He was there for anything we needed and also went above and beyond by decorating our room on our anniversary. It was so sweet. He also set up some excursions for us which were fantastic. Could not have done it without him. Overall this resort gets an A+++ and we will definitely be coming here again in the future.

Me and my wife visited Zoetry Agua Punta Cana for our honeymoon and we couldn't have had a better honeymoon. When we arrived, tired and sweaty we were met with cold drinks and wet towels. When they heard it was our honeymoon, we were being upgraded for free to a Junior Suite Agua Swim Up (see attached images). There are plenty to say but here is a summary of pros and what could be improved: Pros - Staff. This is the best thing with Zoetry and what we will miss the most. All amazing, always happy, employees who made sure that thing was always "excelente" :) - Overall service very high, from personal butler (which we almost never used), to free laundry service and being able to borrow snorkelling equipment. However, Zoetry should skip the cash deposition for the snorkelling equipment and just ask for the room numbers as they do for everything else. - The resort is beautiful and well taken care of. There is always something being maintained but rarely something feeling neglected. - The food is in general very good although we got a bit tired of most restaurants after 2 weeks. Olena and Indigo (lunch restaurant) was out favourites. To be improved - The staffs English needs to be improved. It causes a lot of misunderstanding and eg. wrong orders being made. During 2 weeks we never got exactly what we ordered from Room Service. - Restaurant Olena needs to do something about the heat which made us choose other (cooler but less good) restaurants just because of that. - A lot of seaweed at the beach, it doesn't look like the pictures. Our last day the neighbour hotel used a machine to clean their beach which was much more efficient than the manual workers cleaning our beach. - A lot of beach chairs were occupied in the morning even though the people didn't show up until later, sometimes not at all. This was very annoying for us since we like to get up early but still sometimes had problems finding a good spot.
