NICOLE !!! omg I went to the spa for a deep tissue massage and I’m a massage girl so when I say this was the best massage not only was the location beautiful but I swear they gave me the creator of deep tissue. Nicole was so amazing to say the least and I’ll probably only rebook if I can have her as my therapist next time :)

My family and I just returned from Sandals Grenada and wanted to share what a wonderful time we had. Knowing that this was more of a couples resort, I was worried about my two girls (19 & 18) would be bored. Just the opposite happened- they had a great time. Some of it had to do with just the overall beauty of the resort, the great beach, the Pink Gin Beach oceanfront room walking out to sand, the daily entertainment at poolside and the nightly festivities, but most of it had to do with the absolutely wonderful staff at Sandals resort. These reviews sound like broken record, with everyone repeating the same adulations, however, believe it! As a family we've had some amazing vacations around the Caribbean and for the most part the resort staffs have been great, but Sandals Grenada had a little "extra"- everyone seemed like they genuinely were glad you were there and absolutely wanted you to enjoy yourself. As an example, my wife made it a nightly ritual to get ice cream at Cafe de Paris- one night, she got caught up dancing at the Living Room so I went to get her a scoop.... they were closed for the night, but I happened to see Rachel, who helped my wife with her ice cream addiction, I just so happened to say "sorry I missed you tonight, my wife just sent me for a scoop". Rachel immediately said, no problem- I will get you some and re-opened so I could live by the mantra "happy wife, happy life". Along with Rachel, we would like to recognize Raykelly and Geneva at Butch's, Marlon, Ellen and Javon who were the wonder bartenders, and Leston who, from check-in to check-out, made sure we had what we needed. I would also like to recognize the wonderful housekeeping and grounds keeping teams. They are the unsung heroes keeping the room super clean and the resort grounds immaculate. All of them were quick with a smile and a warm greeting. For the restaurants, my eldest daughter and I loved Soy- the sushi was amazing and the staff kept encouraging us to try everything on the menu. My wife and youngest, enjoyed Cucina- they raved about the chicken parmesan. Spice was our go to place for breakfast as it was quick and easy and the girls had pizza everyday at Dino's- so much so, I think they are going through pizza withdrawal at home. For lunch I enjoyed Neptune's- the chicken wrap was a great mid day meal. For snacks, I mentioned ice cream at Paris, but in the afternoons, they had wonderful finger sandwiches- my favorite was cucumber, nice a cool during the hot afternoons. Butch's was good, I highly recommend the lamb chops and Kimono's was not only entertaining, but also so filling! For the excursions, the Tuk-Tuk adventure was underwhelming but the Balthazaar tubing was amazing- definitely put that on the "do" list. Snorkeling around the beach was nice, we brought our own equipment, so had no troubles there. Also, let me add that Sandals Grenada had the friendliest guests we have encountered during our travels. I don't know if it was the music or the fun trivia games poolside- but everyone wanted to know where you were from and share stories. We made many new friends! This was a great vacation, I hope I have inspired others to check out this island paradise.

This review comes from someone who had never visited a Sandals resort before and booked this trip as a last‑minute holiday change — and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. We travelled as a party of six (three couples), flying from the UK to Grenada and staying in the Pink Gin Ocean View rooms, which are classed as Club Level. From the moment we arrived to the moment we reluctantly left, Sandals Grenada exceeded every expectation. The flight was smooth, with a short stop in St Lucia for around an hour before continuing on to Grenada, which was only another 30 minutes. Grenada’s airport is small, which actually works in your favour — you’re off the plane, through immigration (about 20 minutes), and collecting your luggage quickly. Once outside, you simply turn right to reach the Sandals desk. They check your name, load your luggage, and assign you a small shuttle van. People say the resort is a five‑minute drive from the airport. I assumed this was an exaggeration… it isn’t. It’s genuinely the quickest hotel transfer I’ve ever experienced. The shuttle isn’t operated by Sandals, so tipping is optional. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a warm “Welcome Home” and handed cool towels — heavenly after travelling. Because we were Club Level, we were escorted to the Club Lounge (beautifully air‑conditioned) for check‑in and offered a drink of our choice. Naturally, I chose champagne. We had already completed most of the check‑in details via the Sandals app, so the team simply reviewed our restaurant reservations, weekly activities, and contact details. The staff were exceptional — friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making our stay perfect. Every time I popped into the lounge during the week, they remembered my room number instantly. We arrived at our Pink Gin Ocean View room after dark, so we couldn’t see the view until morning — but it was worth the wait. Peaceful, stunning, and exactly what you want from an oceanfront holiday. The room was spotless, with daily housekeeping and restocked toiletries. The Club Level minibar included spirits, beer, champagne, soft drinks, fruit juices, and bottled water. Fun fact: the Coke in your fridge is bottled locally on the island. The toiletries were genuinely excellent — shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, moisturiser, sewing kit, shower cap, and more. You could easily pack light and rely on what’s provided. One of my favourite rituals was sitting on the balcony at sunrise and sunset, listening to the ocean. Our group quickly fell in love with the Tipsy Turtle bar. The guys met there every evening while the girls finished getting ready, and the service was outstanding. Jarvis and Stephenson, the bartenders, became more like friends — laughing with us, recommending drinks, and introducing me to Grenada’s 10XO rum (which I now desperately wish I could buy in the UK). During the World Cup, they even opened the bar early so guests could watch the match. It wasn’t staffed, but they made sure no one went without beer. Kesron also deserves a shoutout — always smiling, joking, and serving great food. For breakfast, Spices buffet became our go‑to. Every morning offered something slightly different — pancakes, hash browns, herbed potatoes, pastries, fresh fruit, and themed days such as English, American, Asian, French, and Caribbean. The chef who made my pancakes and eggs was incredible. For lunch, you’re spoilt for choice: hotdogs near the quiet pool, pizza and patties near the main pool, and Neptune’s by the beach, which served prawn linguine, burgers, wraps, jerk chicken, fish cakes (the fish cakes are unreal). Portions are generous, so eating lunch early is wise if you want room for dinner. Dinner is where Sandals Grenada truly shines. Le Jardinier (French) was elegant and flavourful — French onion soup, snails, steak, lamb shank — all rich and delicious. The glass walls let you watch the wildlife outside; we even saw a little possum wander past. Butch’s Steakhouse was incredible. Dellise served us both nights and was wonderful. The fillet steak was so tender you didn’t even need a steak knife. Neptune’s in the evening was our favourite meal of the entire trip. Ocean breeze, sound of waves, and food so good we asked to personally thank the chef. Trevon kept the beers flowing and made us laugh all night. Tip: try the seafood broth and the steak with lobster. Kimonos (teppanyaki) was a full show — fun, interactive, and delicious. Our chef had us laughing nonstop, and my husband became fiercely competitive trying to catch egg pieces in his mouth. You’ll leave absolutely stuffed. Cucina Romana (Italian) was fresh and comforting — Caesar salad, arancini, chicken parmesan — all excellent. We didn’t visit Soy, but you can grab sushi here before heading to another restaurant for your main. Restaurants close on different days, so check the schedule. There are several pools, but the main two are the quiet pool near the beach and the lively pool near reception with activities, quizzes, and a swim‑up bar. We enjoyed both — making friends at the lively pool and relaxing at the quiet one later in the holiday. Mario and Tyrell are the best servers at the pool bar and will make sure you get involved in the activities too! Drink service was constant, and the ocean is perfect for snorkelling. We brought our own gear and saw squid, an octopus, and lots of fish. We booked the river tubing excursion at the on‑site shop — quick and easy. It’s a 30‑minute drive, then you float down the river in rubber rings while staff guide you, help you if you get stuck, and entertain you with jumps and flips. Watch out for the “If You’re Happy and You Know It” surprise. There’s a brilliant free boat trip you can join that gives you a deeper look into Grenada—especially St George’s, where Sandals is based. If you haven’t done it before, or if this is your first time visiting Grenada, I genuinely recommend it. We booked ours through the Club Lounge, and it was so easy. You meet down at the Water Activities Centre, hop straight onto the boat, and off you go along the coastline. Definitely wear sun cream and bring water—the sun hits differently once you’re out on the water. The two guys running the tour were honestly fantastic: friendly, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable. They talked us through everything from local landmarks to community life, and they answered every question with so much pride and detail. I especially loved hearing about the island’s conservation efforts—how they’re protecting wildlife, restoring natural habitats, and preserving Grenada’s unique ecosystem. They also shared stories about the island’s history, culture, and the role St George’s has played over the years, which made the whole experience feel even more special. It’s such a simple, relaxed excursion, but it gives you a real sense of Grenada beyond the resort. A perfect little highlight. The onsite gift shop offers an impressive variety of items—clothing, shoes, mugs, snacks, drinks, locally made chocolate, candles, and soaps. Most purchases are tax‑deductible too, which feels like a welcome bonus. Our group ended up picking up all sorts of things: a hat (after realising we’d left ours at home), jewellery, local hot chocolate, chocolate bars, crisps, drinks, candles, and beautifully scented soaps. Some products are a little pricey, but overall—aside from the clothing—I found most items reasonably priced for an onsite shop. If you’re looking for a truly local gift, the resort also hosts a weekly market featuring local vendors. You’ll find handmade items, spices, jewellery, artisanal crafts, and plenty of unique pieces that make perfect souvenirs. And then there’s the patisserie—completely unforgettable. The coffee is exceptional: smooth, rich, and full of flavour. I’ve never been an iced‑coffee person, but after trying theirs, it became a daily ritual. Each morning I’d grab an iced coffee and a small pastry, then wander to a quiet spot around the resort—often the pier—where I’d watch the sunrise and listen to the ocean. Throughout the day, the patisserie transforms, offering sandwiches, cakes, ice cream, milkshakes, and a whole selection of desserts. Everything I tried was consistently delicious. I genuinely believe the staff make this resort what it is. We’ve travelled to many destinations, but we’ve never met people so warm, funny, attentive, and genuinely interested in talking to guests. They are a credit to Sandals. Leaving Sandals Grenada was so hard — none of us wanted the holiday to end. If you have a later flight, you can continue enjoying the resort all day. They offer wash‑rooms on site where you can shower, freshen up, and change before heading to the airport, which makes your final hours feel like bonus holiday time. Final tips: you absolutely do not need a butler to get a sunbed — there were plenty every day. Fill in your immigration form online around 48 hours before flying. And honestly, just book this resort. You won’t regret it!

We went to the Sandals Grenada right after the 4th of July, from July 6 - 11, 2026' Pros: *Airport is small, so getting through customs both entry / leaving was fast and easy. *Resort is only a 5-min. ride from the airport and the resort offers free shuttle service. *Even though the resort was close to the airport, we rarely ever heard jets overhead. There is a small mountain range between the resort and airport, so it must block out the sound. Whatever the reason, it wasn't that bad. *Resort is clean and rooms are clean and updated. *Staff is super friendly. Probably the best experience we have had at a resort. *Due to the location of the resort, there is almost always a constant breeze blowing while you're on the beach and in some locations of the resort. *Pools are really clean *Restaurants are all good, especially the Japanese restaurant. *The beach is clean and free of odors or any fishy smells. Never saw any seaweed at all or even a hint of it. *You can snorkel right off the beach. *If you want less crowds, go in July or August. We learned that it is their slow time. During this trip the resort was half-full, which made getting into restaurants, doing water activities or excursions easy. *They offer free WiFi. *All food, liqour, water activities, etc. are included during the stay. Cons: *If you are thinking of smooth bottom swimming area at the beach, just be aware there are a few big rocks inside of the swimming area. You can see them easily enough to avoid them and they are huge under the water level. They will not interfere with your swimming, floating, etc., but they are there. *If you plan on snorkeling right off the beach, you have to bring your own equipment. Only time they offer the equipment is if you take a snorkeling trip out on the boat. *** (really not a con, just wishful thinking) There are two big pools, one party pool and one quiet pool. The party pool is the one that is farthest away from the beach and the quiet one is right beside the beach. Wish they were switched and the party pool was the one next to the beach. Overall: Definitely would recommend this resort. Worth the money. Perfect place to go to recharge your batteries and take a break.

** The Beach ** -- The water was warm (87-degrees) and the sand was soft. In some areas of the swimming section, it would be best to wear water shoes (when snorkeling etc.). The snorkeling was fun as we saw puffers, an octopus, schools of black/yellow fish, crabs, and many other cool fish. Very little current or waves in the jetty area, making it easy to navigate around the rocks. -- Loungers/Chairs in the SHADE were hard to come by, unless you have Butler service. Infuriatingly, many of these reserved chairs were unused all day. -- Bar service was very good at the beach, with a bar close by for those of us who still prefer to stretch the legs and get it ourself. ** The Pools ** -- We didn't hang at the main pool (or any pool, for that matter) but our room was very close to it (South Seas Waterfall River Pool Walkout Junior Suite, WWJS). It was the typical main pool -- noisy, loud, with trivia games, etc. all day long (until 5 pm). IMO, all of the pools appeared to be cloudy and in need of some tile scrubbing, including the swim-up at our room. Very little shade around the pools -- the main pool as well as the "quiet" pool closer to the beach. ** Restaurants ** -- The food at the various Sandals is pretty much the same regardless of which resort you are visiting. Menus, as well as the restaurant name, are often exactly the same, making it repetitious after a short time. -- Le Jardinier - Because it is air-conditioned, served from a menu (not a buffet), and quiet, it became our breakfast locale each day. As long as you are not overly picky, the breakfast was good (eggs were always overcooked, regardless of how you asked for them. I didn't have to make them myself, so it worked for me!). For dinner, we had difficulty choosing an entree, as there are 7 choices and two of them are Hungry Planet (not judging, I just don't eat fake meat), a duck dish and a Bouillabaisse. My choice was the Poulet Cordon Bleu. It was very good, although it came with mash potatoes and not the "rice-peas pilaf" as described on the menu. I'm not picky, it was fine. My lady had the Filet de Saumon. It too was good, albeit a little on the dry side. On another night, I tried the Tournedos de Boeuf for dinner. The medallions were a little on the chewy side, but edible and had good flavor. My lady raved over the Creme Brulee. After eating elsewhere, we strolled by one night only to pop in to get one "to go!' -- Kimono's - We don't like hibachi dining eating/cooking one item at a time so we passed on this restaurant during this trip. -- Spices - Is very hot on the second level in the courtyard. We tried the buffet-style breakfast one morning, but found it too hot to eat and enjoy breakfast. We had the same issue at lunch time. Since we aren't fans of the buffet and because it was so hot in the restaurant, we refrained from returning during the 10 days. -- Neptune's - Because it was conveniently located on the beach, with a bar attached, it became our daily lunch location. The food was good (not the best, but we didn't have to make it or clean it), it was out of the sun and with a steady ocean breeze. What more could we ask for? We definitely enjoyed our lunch here each day. -- Cucina Romano - Had breakfast here once during our stay. We found the buffet to be unappealing and lacking in choices. We went to Le Jardinier instead. For dinner, their food was tasty although not very authentic. Carbonara, for instance, doesn't have cream in it at all, but it does here. They also place a poached egg atop the spaghetti with a crispy slice of bacon. Again, it was a tasty dish and I enjoyed eating it regardless of what they call it! On another night, I tried the Linguine agli Scampi that was supposed to be served with a marinara sauce. It was served with the same cream sauce as the carbonara (can't make this up). I asked the server about this and was told "the menu is wrong." It was tasty and I ate it regardless. -- Butch's Chophouse - We were able to get reservations here for two nights of our 10-day stay, as it is the most popular on the resort. The first night we were informed that the restaurant was out of Oysters Rockefeller as well as Asparagus. Okay, it happens. I started with Dungeness Crab Cake and my lady ordered the Shrimp cocktail. We both opted for the same entree, Surf & Turf. The appetizers were okay -- rather plain but okay. And it was the same with the entree - both the lobster and the filet mignon was a little overcooked but had good favor. For dessert, we tried the creme brulee. Here it is made with ground nutmeg and Jim Beam. It was far better at Le Jardinier.

Hi - our trip was amazing to La Source in Grenada. We had been to this resort previously. In fact it was such a relaxing and romantic getaway that our first baby is due in 3 weeks (9 months after the fabulous vacation!)
