This was our 2nd time here (out of 29 Sandals trips). Most everything was wonderful. Our "Dream Team" butlers, Dawniesha, Davey and Vernessa were very attentive to our every need. We did a Re-Tie the Knot and Deanette was fantastic. Our photographer, Deron took some incredible photos. Our only complaint was the lousy coffee pods and coffee maker in the room. It never made a decent pot of coffee because the pods were cheap and little. At 6am there is no other place to get a cup. We were VERY disappointed with the General Manager of the resort. He wasn't ever to be seen around the resort (unlike most other GM's that we have met). At both the returning guest dinner and the VIP Luncheon he couldn't be bothered to at least say hello to our table.

Trip was in April 2024. We stayed in a WFJS room type - South Seas Waterfall River Pool JS with Balcony Tranquility Pool. The room was amazing (Room 6205). Very clean and lots of room. Could not get a Club Level room which should have been an option. Had to head down by no later than 6 every morning to get a chair by the swim up pool due to all the butlers reserving chairs. Was impossible to get a chair at the beach with an umbrella without a butler. The breakfast food was not good except for the fresh fruit. Tried all the breakfast options. Neptunes was amazing for lunch and we loved the option to eat at their bar (Alvin was a great bartender). Did not like the dinner at Neptunes. We enjoyed dinner at Kimonos (chef Gaspar was amazing), Butchs and Soy. The ladies at Cafe Paris was very nice and pleasant every morning. Kareem at the center bar for nightly entertainment was amazing and so was Mario at the swim-up bar. We were celebrating a milestone birthday for my husband and I informed them of that before and at check-in. Nothing was done and I was told that if we had a butler they would handle it. A butler would have cost almost 2K more plus tips for the butlers. I really am done with all the pushing of the butler service. How hard is it to put banners on the doors for special events and a little something extra in the room the day of the event. Other ideas would be to put cheap bedroom slippers in the room and a few snacks. Small things make a big difference and Sandals just doesn’t get it. Maybe they should just go to a total butler resort. Did the 1/2 day jeep excursion through the Island Routes desk and Chad with Bareback Jeep Adventures was our guide - he was great. We went to the rainforest, saw the monkeys and then went to Annandale waterfall. Did a couples massage that was really nice but the spa doesn’t offer any hydrotherapy options. The exercise room on site is very small and no class options for yoga, stretching or Pilates classes. We travel to AI 2 to 3 times a year. This trip costs almost three times as much as Excellence Punta Cana and twice as much as Secrets Cap Cana - that is just the ones we have been to in the last year. Expected everything to be over the top at Sandals Grenada and it wasn’t.

Disclaimer: Been here 7 times, so obviously we like it. Resort is awesome. This is going to be major shout outs to staff, with reviews of resort for those who have not been here. STAFF IS AMAZING. If you want to be treated like you are wanted here, then COME HERE. Crimshon at Dino’s should be a Sous Chef. That dude can cook. Hooked us up with some fish we speared while scuba diving. Baked them in the oven. Gordon Ramsey himself would hire this guy. That bro can cook, and I ain’t talkin’ friggin pizzas either. Just sayin’ Bar staff: Sherene, Mario, Crissie, Kareem, all of them remember what you drink. I can’t remember jack squat. They remember everyone’s drink. And waiting for you before you sit down. Damn Ritz Carlton doesn’t do that. I been to several. Dive Team: There are not words to articulate how great these guys are. Troy, Travis, Rendon, Curtel, Adrian, Thane, “Chicken,” Prince, and their new supervisor Curtis. Seriously spot on. I wouldn’t let them, but they will wash your gear for you! Seriously, they will wash your stuff. Clean your fish, heck they prolly would chew it for you if you asked them. Major accolades to those guys. Now here is the punch line…Super safe, on point in looking after less experienced divers, and they can teach. Just amazing team. Look at other reviews. It ain’t no secret…dive team here is the best, bar none. Resort itself is beautiful…you can thank Kenneth is Groundskeeping and his people for that. Kenneth is the most humble Rastaman I have ever met. Give you his shirt if you needed one. We love the guy. If Kenneth leaves, we won’t come back. That is how amazing he is. Oh, and if you want a coconut drink, he will climb the palm tree 30 feet and get one for you, hack it with a machete like it was a butter knife and deliver it to you…smiling the whole time. Love Kenneth. Loyalty Team: Wanna rebook? Talk to Londa or Ginger. Nothing will go wrong with your booking. End of discussion. Summary: Resort is amazing, pool is fun, entertainment is way better with lots of different shows, food good, grounds spectacular and overall bomb ass resort. COME HERE ONLY IF YOU WANT THE BEST VACATION. As stated, we been here 7 times. That should speak for itself. Hope this helps.

I have never been more spoiled for my birthday than I was by these 3.

Thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere food and weather.
