An unpaved road on the southeast coast of Antigua leads to Hermitage Bay, a collection of 25 villas clustered around the brilliant blue Caribbean Sea that offers a place to relax, restore and reconnect to a deeper self. Suites are airy and soothing, constructed from purpleheart, greenheart and other woods from sustainably managed forests in Guyana. Daily meditation and yoga classes, along with the natural beauty of deserted beaches, bring a sense of balance nurtured by caring staff.
NOTE: Year-round, children ages 14 and older are permitted at the resort, and children 8 and older are permitted seasonally in July and August, as well as in the month of December.

There are no words to describe Ms. Browne's hospitality at Hermitage Bay, which retains the essence of what it was, but now, on its new path, full of unique experiences, has left us completely amazed. We were there five years ago on our honeymoon and decided to return. And what a return! Full of new adventures, hiking along the hotel's cliffs, a new restaurant with European chefs, and even a sushi bar where we've met many new friends. I also wanted to highlight Shemar and Jerralyn, who are attentive to every detail. By the way, the new design of the new rooms is incredible; you can almost feel the ocean from your bed. Long live Hermitage Bay. See you in February.

This newly opened hotel is a true gem in Antigua. The décor is exquisite—elegant and timeless, with subtle Caribbean touches. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the service is simply impeccable. Plus, the location is perfect for exploring the island. Without a doubt, this is a place that’s sure to become a Caribbean classic.

Stayed for a long weekend 3rd time we have been and the experience just keeps getting better. Food as always was excellent. Resort was clean well managed and had undergone some minor renovations and improvements in recent months. Staff were just great, very helpful, and attentive. We went there to chill out and it hit the spot right on. Should have stayed longer. Could not ask for a better experience and thoroughly recommend Hermatidge Bay Hotel if you want the best and relax while you get it.

I just returned from an incredible stay at Hermitage Bay, and it completely exceeded my expectations in every way. The staff was absolutely welcoming — warm smiles, personal touches, and the kind of service that feels effortless but absolutely flawless. The suite was lovely — spacious, beautifully designed, with breathtaking views of the turquoise bay below. Waking up to that view in the morning felt like a dream. The food is outstanding — fresh, creative, and full of flavour. A real highlight is the sushi bar at sunset, serving freshly made sushi with the most delicious combinations of sauces and flavours. Each piece was perfection, and the setting couldn’t have been more magical. The beach, gardens, and overall setting are pure perfection — peaceful, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by nature. It’s the ideal place to completely unwind and reconnect. I have travelled a lot, but Hermitage Bay stands out as one of the best resorts I have ever experienced. Highly, highly recommend!

We had the most magical stay at Hermitage Bay - everything felt so peaceful, private, and beautifully done. The recently reopened resort looks absolutely stunning; the villas are spotless, stylish, and perfectly set between lush greenery and the beach. The staff were beyond kind and made us feel so genuinely cared for from the first moment. Every detail - from the food (incredible!!) to the little touches in the room - felt personal and full of love. You can really feel how much effort has gone into bringing Hermitage Bay back to life.

We found the hotel to be one of the best we have ever encountered. It's peaceful, it's well run, staff go out of their way to be helpful/friendly but not in a way that you think it's a burden.
