Hermitage Bay

I think the definition paradise begins and ends with a meal at Petite Maison Hermitage Bay. Besides having first row views of the most turquoise stunning beach on the island, the meal left little to the imagination. We had an assortment of aperitifs including the roasted peppers, and lentil salad. They were refreshing and packed a punch. Don't skip out on the cocktail list, it's as imaginative as it is refreshing. The meal was only complimented by Tarek's exquisite hospitality, who practiced his polyglot skills with my sister. 10/10 across the board, absolutely no notes.

Charging oceanfront bungalows on a white sand beach, great food, music, facilities in a gorgeous location. However, the aspect of Hermitage Bay Resort that is truly extraordinary is the staff. They are genuinely welcoming and a pleasure to know.

This used to be our favourite hotel in the world. The beach and the location are indeed beautiful and the staff are so kind and helpful. However, as a result of some changes introduced by the new owner, we will never return. This used to be a tranquil and exclusive location. But lunch is now open to non-residents who arrive by boat, sometimes including loud groups (they allow groups of up to 8 people to book). Some of them sit on the sun beds during the afternoon, making the beach busier. Loud music from the lunch restaurant can be heard along the beach. We were in a hillside villa, but another guest in a beach front villa told us that they could hear music from the bar late into the evening. Jet skis also spoil the once peaceful atmosphere. Such a shame!

La petit maison was one of the best culinary experiences I have ever had in my life. The food the vibe. Everything was spectacular. The staff are so nice and easy to deal with. And after all that the prices are reasonable.

I had lunch at La Petite Maison at Hermitage Bay in Antigua and the experience was truly amazing. Right when we arrived, both Rebecca and Tarek were warm and welcoming. We had the chef’s Mario and Sergio personally come to the table to explain the dishes that were prepared with care and the highest quality produce. The ambiance with the live music was a nice touch. Would absolutely recommend coming here during your stay on the island.
