Cocobay Resort in Saint Mary's, Antigua and Barbuda
There is no dividing line between the paradise inside the cottages of Cocobay Resort and the paradise outside – fling open the patio door and let a breeze flow from the aquamarine Caribbean waters over the rustic wood floors and through the crisp white linens of your sleeping quarters. Adirondack chairs anchor a permanent sunbathing spot on the terrace of this waterfront all-inclusive that is equally secluded and connected to life in town.
Slip your toes into floury white sand and let the sun melt away any tension in your shoulders. Float in crystalline waters. Return to dry land for a guided nature walk through the lush hillside with a local medicine man, learning about the healing properties of plants and herbs. Dine on rock shrimp and toast the sunset as waves crash on the rocks below.

Reviews for Cocobay Resort
If you look at Trip Advisor before going somewhere then you're like myself, and like myself you've read the overwhelming positive reviews for Cocobay, so let me cut to the chase and say every positive review is the truth. The staff as a whole were awesome(couldn't remember names sorry) they were very attentive to everything that we asked for and always had a smile, it's almost as if the staff didn't know what the word no was, you can tell the staff are all about making your vacation magical and memorable. We just loved everything Cocobay has to offer and we are sad it was a short trip. The room we stayed in was called Chattel House and I highly recommend staying here if you can, probably has the best location and view of them all as well. The Chattel House also has a plunge pool which my wife and I used constantly to chill out and cool off in the hot Caribbean sun. This stay was for our 10 year anniversary and one night we came back from dinner to our room's floor covered in flower petals and candles which was unexpected and cool of the resort to do something like that. The grounds are landscaped and beautiful and while there is some small amount of walking to get to places, the scenery just makes you forget about the walking part. The 2 pools are infinity style and overlook the beautiful turquoise ocean, honestly you can stay at the pools and never go to the beach. The 2 pools have bars close by if you feel like having drinks while swimming. The dinner was delicious, but small portions just like reviewers have said, but you will not leave hungry. The rest of the food we had was buffet style for breakfast and lunch and were delicious as well. The beach is beautiful and has shade if you need it, only complaint here(public beach so not Cocobay's fault)is the people trying nonstop to sell you jet ski rentals, it was really annoying. The water was beautiful at the beach as you would expect, but there is a lot of seaweed here still attached to the sand under the water. The seaweed that does eventually was up is collected and disposed of every morning like clockwork. I know it has been a lot of reading, but if you are still with me and considering Cocobay I hope I've persuaded you that this resort is the choice for you.
Wonderful Location with fabulous views set in a plantation setting. Great dining and wonderful food, excellent staff. We received a friendly arrival with a rum punch in reception. We were all inclusive so all the food and drink was included, all we had to do was soak up all the sun by our own plunge pool set in the balcony of our room. Walking up to tropical island views every morning and temperatures of 26c to 31c every day it was a stress free holiday. Island tours are essential to appreciate the views and the people, also plenty of water tours around the island by various types of boats.

We had a one night stop over between Tortola and Gatwick. Impressed by every part of the resort: staff, food, rooms, beach. The attention to detail his fantastic- we had an email confirming our arrival. The car was waiting- we can't fault anything. We will return for a longer stay. One caveat- there may be too much walking between room and beach, restaurant etc for people with mobility issues

This review is LONG overdue...2 years overdue to be precise. For some crazy reason I thought I had already written a review of Cocobay, but apparently I had not. My husband and I went to Cocobay and stayed in a Premium Waterfront Suite for our Honeymoon for 10 glorious days (I HIGHLY recommend the premium waterfront suite if your budget allows for it). The staff was so accommodating and new us by name immediately. We never had to fight for space on the beach. We never had a problem arranging a meal seating time (and there was plenty of food variety for us -- with the premium waterfront suite we got the upgraded food options as well, and my husband had lobster everynight for dinner, because, why not?). We went on several WONDERFUL excursions that the hotel helped arrange. We had an awesome couples massage and a romantic private dinner on the beach. Basically, Cocobay has become what we have compared our subsequent vacations too, and nothing has even come close. I highly recommend this resort, and we hope to come back for our 5 year anniversary! I do not think you will be disappointed!

Just returned from our third visit to beautiful Cocobay. On arrival we were welcomed back by O'neal the manager, and reception staff. We had room 40 which had a stunning view of the bay, and was kept immaculate by the household staff. We were remembered and greeted by staff we had met on previous visits. For breakfast there was plenty of choice with eggs cooked to order by the excellent Sonia. Lunch was buffet style with fish , meat etc freshly cooked. Dinner was four courses only one word to describe FANTASTIC no repeat menus in two weeks. The staff from the manager to the cleaners were friendly, polite and could not do enough for you. With a special mention to Cheril in the restaurant and Ramone in reception. This place is paradise, would certainly recommend and visit again. Thank you Cocobay.
