Cocobay Resort in Saint Mary's, Antigua and Barbuda

There is no dividing line between the paradise inside the cottages of Cocobay Resort and the paradise outside – fling open the patio door and let a breeze flow from the aquamarine Caribbean waters over the rustic wood floors and through the crisp white linens of your sleeping quarters. Adirondack chairs anchor a permanent sunbathing spot on the terrace of this waterfront all-inclusive that is equally secluded and connected to life in town.

Slip your toes into floury white sand and let the sun melt away any tension in your shoulders. Float in crystalline waters. Return to dry land for a guided nature walk through the lush hillside with a local medicine man, learning about the healing properties of plants and herbs. Dine on rock shrimp and toast the sunset as waves crash on the rocks below.

After spending ten nights here you can’t not feel relaxed. Stunning setting, great food and loving staff make this an excellent holiday destination. The beaches feel deserted leaving it completely unspoilt. It’s well worth upgrading to a pool villa.

This is a must stay resort. On arrival we were greeted by the hotel manager O'Neal & guest relations manager Nasasha. Such a warm welcome with some rum punch to start our Caribbean holiday off with a bang! We stayed in a premium waterfront suite which had the most amazing views over the Caribbean Sea with an outside bath & plunge pool. We dont normally do all inclusive but coco bay surpassed our expectations as it included a really good variety of options for both breakfast & lunch & the evening menu included an a la carter menu with plenty of choice. The evening meal was 4 courses served to your individual table & portion sizes were just right - not too big or too small. The alcohol served was all premium brands & the staff were happy to serve you cocktails not listed on their menu. We have travelled all around the world & always hold the Thai people amongst the most welcoming & we can honestly say the staff at the coco bay cannot do enough for you. If you are considering a stay in Antigua then coco bay will not disappoint - it was a truly memorable experience!"

Just returned from a 6 night visit to Cocobay Resort. The resort is small which means intimate-just what we wanted. The grounds, the bars, the restaurant and the pools were all well maintained and lovely. Our room was wonderful, a beautiful view, very private and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. All of the staff were so friendly and responsive, they became our friends. Our travels rarely include a return visit to a resort-we can't wait to go back to Cocobay. Our one word definition of the resort-perfection.

Just got back from 12 days at this lovely hotel. Stayed in one of the cottages that are located in the large grounds so there is no fear of noisy neighbours! A short walk to the beach and one of the two pools- both of which are very well maintained. Wherever you are the views are amazing- from the very well maintained gardens to the beautiful turquoise Caribbean Sea and add some dazzling sunsets and a couple of rainbows- perfect A small negative was the music when relaxing by the pool when there were two sets of music in competition with each other. The nearby Sheer Rocks Restaurant blasting away in company with the hotels pleasant background music was at times annoying Excellent greeting from reception upon arrival - thanks Janine- do you ever stop smiling? The staff are a feature of this hotel- they are all so happy and always find time to chat to the guests. We have to mention Nikita who looked after us so well during dinner. Special thanks also to Kenroy, Keva, and Cheryl at the tables and my favourite Sonia who I call the "Egg and Fish Lady" We especially like the a la carte menu in the evenings- a good choice and excellent quality and presentation - well done to the chef Overall a great holiday and we will be back

Lovely small resort beside one of the best beaches on Antigua. The cabins are extremely private and set in beautiful grounds. The beach next to the hotel is just the right size - small enough to seem private but not so small that it is impossible to get any space. The palms provide enough shade when required. The food is extremely good with interesting combinations and choices every day. Above all, what makes this resort so enjoyable is the quality of the staff. Everyone is extremely friendly and professional, somehow managing to remember every guest from first arrival.
