Disappointed is an understatement

We would just like to express our disappointment over our trip to Zoetry. My husband and I travel lots and his status with Marriott is platinum. We also own airbnb, and several rentals. We know the value of having clean well thought out place for people to stay. We thought it would be fun to do an all inclusive for an early Birthday gift to me since he is traveling out of country for my actual Birthday. We arrived at Zoetry on April 17th-22nd. We decided to go with suite and really make our trip special. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff. We were taken to our room and shown around. The room was tiered and old. We found bird poop on jacuzzi which was never cleaned off for our entire stay. There was dirty out door furniture and holes in carpet. Upon getting in to bed that first night there was sand in my bed even though our feet and bodies were clean. (Sheets were never cleaned as we experienced sand the entire week) The next morning we woke up and thought we would make the most of it regardless of being disappointed. So brushed off disappointment again and headed for shower. Shower did not work. Water merely sputtered out of tap. Called front desk and they told us water was not working in entire building. So with no shower put clothes on and headed out to Yoga and breakfast. Hoping this would be the turn around we were looking for. Had an amazing yoga session then headed to breakfast. I ordered an omelette. The potatoes were so raw and gross I had to spit them out. I was so embarrassed. I have never had to spit food out before. So from there we head to pool. Hung out by pool for a bit then headed back to room to try and get a shower 1pm. To my surprise no shower and rooms were not made. I called front desk to get maid service and she said they would be coming. They did not clean room every day until later in afternoon every day. Even though I had asked that they clean room at 9:30 every day. Tried ordering room service several times and was told 2-3 hour wait or they just never showed up. Tried room service again for simple bottle of champagne that should have been included in room anyway and it took 4 calls and and hour later. My room was suppose to be restocked with beer, wine, champagne and waters. We drank waters only never used beer or wines. Always had to ask for refrigerator to be restocked of waters. This was not done automatically as it is in other hotels. I will never stay in a HYATT property again if we can avoid it as this was such a disappointment. We ended up having to eat out at other places and just order basic stuff at this place. Even bread tasted stale. Forgot to mention out of the 2 restaurants you had we were only able to use both restaurants 3 out of 5 days we were there as there was a Wedding in the hotel. As for my Birthday it was NEVER celebrated no cake, no special treatment no NOTHING. I will say massages here were EXCELLENT. So if someone is coming for just that they will not be disappointed. Excursions were also fantastic. Our entire experience with Zoetry was such a disappointment and not nearly worth money we spent.

Not much has changed

This was our 3rd stay at the Zoetry, they remodeled some after the hurricane, food was good but if you're looking for steaks there aren't any. the menu is more on the healthy side which is fine. Pool side service was good, English not so much, didn't always get what we ordered. You can't go into the water on this beach only the pool. Will we go back again, yes, if you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place!!

Luis has been very friendly from the minute we got here! He is always checking in on us to make sure we have everything we need and he even knows what you want before you ask for it! He is very pleasant to be around and definitely adds to the experience in the best way. We really appreciate Luis and all of the staff here! It’s an amazing and beautiful resort.

Excellent Resort

This was our second time to this resort, however first time as a Zoetry hotel. The service and staff were wonderful, the food was incredible (very healthy and clean, but not at the expense of flavor!), drinks were fantastic, and the resort is stunning and well kept. It is very much adult -oriented, though there were a couple families we saw but not very often. Pool and restaurants were very quiet most of the days, no loud pool-side activities or rowdy groups. This is exactly what we wanted!

My husband and I just came back from taking our Luxury Link vacation at the Zoëtry Casa Del Mar Los Cabos, and the vacation was wonderful! We were unsure about the value of package, but upon arrival at Zoëtry it was clear that the accommodations were first class all the way. The resort was truly amazing. It seemed too good to be true - but it wasn't!

We wanted a relaxing vacation at a five-star resort and we found it at Zoëtry Casa Del Mar in Cabo. Elegant, exclusive, quiet, beautifully located property with excellent service and fine food. Our suite was perfect, the view was breathtaking, and the restaurant located right on the beach was charming. We practically had the place to ourselves.
