Stayed in Romance room - the plunge pool in room description is actually a jacuzzi. A few hiccups with food/room service but overall a fantastic stay.

Exceptional in Every Way – A Truly Memorable Celebration We chose Zoëtry Casa del Mar Los Cabos to celebrate our sister’s 82nd birthday, and I can say without hesitation: this resort delivered an extraordinary experience from start to finish. What stood out immediately was the intentional preparation by the hotel. Every detail—amenities, timing, personalization—was handled with care and thoughtfulness to ensure her celebration felt meaningful and special. That level of consideration is rare, and it mattered. I must specifically recognize Marcos, the Entertainment Director. He went far beyond what could reasonably be expected—investing time, creativity, and genuine care into making this celebration unforgettable. His professionalism, warmth, and commitment elevated the entire stay and more than justified our financial investment. He is a true asset to the resort. The property itself is beautifully positioned on the bay, offering miles of walkable beach—perfect for those who enjoy movement, reflection, and nature. If you value a healthy lifestyle, daily activity, and balanced indulgence, this is an ideal location. Equally important: Zoëtry is a true boutique resort. Never overcrowded. Never chaotic. You can always find pool loungers, quiet spaces, and attentive service without competition or stress. The atmosphere is calm, refined, and genuinely relaxing. Service across the board was exceptional—gracious, consistent, and professional without being intrusive. In short, this was not just a vacation; it was a thoughtfully curated experience. Zoëtry Casa del Mar understands that luxury is not excess—it’s care, intention, and execution. And they delivered on all three. Highly recommended for milestone celebrations or anyone who values quality over quantity.

My wife and I stayed at Zoetry 12-7-25 to 12-13-25. We have stayed at numerous “All Inclusive” resorts in Cabo as well as Jamaica, Cancun, Dominican Republic, and others. Here is “our take” on the property: Service – As reported in numerous posts on-line before this post, the resort needs to add more people to their payroll. Servers in the restaurants were actually seen running to get food at this resort. They were under-staffed. Yet, management does nothing about this but give the public lip service on-line on how they will look into this. Nothing happens! I feel sorry for these servers who are doing the best they can with no help. The Hyatt needs to take some of their profit and reinvest it in numerous areas of this resort that need it. Several servers did a great job regardless of conditions: Javier was great and needs to be elevated to hotel manager (or Hyatt manager) and the present manager needs to be fired. Mary did a great job in the breakfast area also. So, there are some who step up to the plate despite these conditions. Hats off to you two especially. Food – The food was a 3 on a scale of 1-5. We thought the food at Paradisus and the Marquee (right down the beach) when we stayed there last year was better. The Excellence Resorts chain foods were much better than both – a 4 ½ on a scale of 1-5. Condition of the Property: Like many resorts in Cancun and Cabo, the resort is in need of re-conditioning. Again, Hyatt needs to put more money into this resort in repairs, upkeep and staff. As a few examples, step lights by the woman’s bathroom by the El Arroyo were out and we saw several women slip trying to walk up the stairway beside the restaurant. Our room sliding glass door to our balcony would lock if you shut the door. The latch that allowed you to unlock it when you went outside was broken. Two repair persons came and could not fix it. One of the woman managers I talked to on the phone said that is how the door worked. This was total nonsense. You could see the red latch would not stay up to prevent a lock out. Despite the request to fix it and despite the woman manager saying they would fix it, it never happened: LIP SERVICE ONLY! The foot pedals on the trash cans in numerous bathrooms were broken requiring you to step on a metal prong to open it. These are only a few examples of the need for repair and upkeep. They need to spend money on this resort! Time Share: This is a real problem! We specifically told Daniel (check in desk) we did not want to talk to time share persons after checking in. Despite this request, he sent us to the desk opposite him when we were done and we then started to receive what we finally realized was a time share pitch. Every morning in the breakfast area, you had time share people trying to “hook” a purchase by eating breakfast with couples staying at the resort. In the afternoon, you had time share people trying to “hook” a purchase by eating lunch with couples at the resort. We realize that some people are willing to listen to the “pitch” to get a discount on a massage or something else. But a lot of people do not want to come to breakfast or lunch and hear this going on at the next table. This needs to stop. Check in: After traveling for 12 hours to get to the Zoetry and arriving there at 1:30 p.m., Daniel proceeded to check us in. We were in a 1 bedroom ocean view suite which was not ready yet (no problem). However, Daniel asked for our phone number to contact us as soon as the room was ready. Two hours (2) later, we went up to him and asked him if it was ready. He went to a pile of papers behind him and our room paperwork was in there and ready (surprise). He never contacted us to tell us the room was ready as he said he would do. Don’t tell us you will call us if you are not going to follow through. Just like the “sliding glass” door to our balcony there is no follow-up at this resort. Would we go to this resort again – probably not.

The spa was amazing! Did the Desert Harmony package with a wrap, express facial and massage with Liliana…..it was incredible! One of the best treatments I’ve ever had. If you’re thinking about it, just DO IT!

Beautiful boutique facility with a very welcoming reception and very pleasant staff. Addressed every need, the only issue we had was the consistently long wait times for dinner and was disappointed by the quality of the up charge menu selections. But, overall would recommend this location.

My husband and I just came back from taking our Luxury Link vacation at the Zoëtry Casa Del Mar Los Cabos, and the vacation was wonderful! We were unsure about the value of package, but upon arrival at Zoëtry it was clear that the accommodations were first class all the way. The resort was truly amazing. It seemed too good to be true - but it wasn't!

We wanted a relaxing vacation at a five-star resort and we found it at Zoëtry Casa Del Mar in Cabo. Elegant, exclusive, quiet, beautifully located property with excellent service and fine food. Our suite was perfect, the view was breathtaking, and the restaurant located right on the beach was charming. We practically had the place to ourselves.
