Zoetry Casa del Mar Los Cabos

Zoëtry Casa del Mar truly feels like a hidden treasure. The staff is exceptionally warm and attentive, always going out of their way to make the stay memorable. The grounds are impeccably maintained, and the resort’s peaceful, Zen-like atmosphere is something we absolutely love. The dining options were excellent—especially the beachfront SaltWater restaurant, where we loved being able to watch whales breach right from our table. Although it is an all-inclusive resort, it feels much more like a boutique hotel. The main lobby is charming, designed around a hacienda-style courtyard that adds to the intimate atmosphere. While it’s impossible to name all of the truly fabulous employees, we would especially like to compliment Nelly for her efficient check-in; Marcos and Fátima, who kept guests entertained throughout the day; and a special thanks to Javier and Alan at the SaltWater Restaurant for being so attentive and professional. This was our fifth visit, and we look forward to returning again soon.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and had a great time. It's a quiet resort with plenty of space and great service. We loved being able to choose whether or not we wanted to be social (main pool) or be alone (our own plunge pool or one of the many other pools on the property). We also enjoyed the palapas on the beach. This was a great place for a quick getaway.

Here we are again, another amazing trip to Los Cabos and Zoetry did not disappoint. My wife and I have really enjoyed how relaxing and quiet this property is and how fast we can actually start to rest and relax. We first got welcomed by Bryan at the doors to the resort as our Bellman and walked us over to Daniel who checked us into the resort, very pleasant and quick process. ones we got to our room, our luggage was already in the room. Our room was a great Ocean front room that had a really amazing view of The Sea of Cortez along with the whales that have migrated to Los Cabos for the winter. I want to mention some staff members that really made our trip great. We want to thank Doni, Javier-Saltwater, Jorje, Alberto, Fidel, Marcos & Fatima, Jose', Marco, Juan David, Julia, Javier-Concierge. People who complain about this property and its sometime quirky and unpredictable service are probably not the right audience. We found everyone from the hotel to be delightful. Would love to mention all of them but need to specifically compliment Alan and Javier at Saltwater, Jorge who manned the beach palapas with grace and incessant drinks. And Marcos who made the silly pool games fun and not cheesy. The minibar was constantly replenished, if sometimes in slightly strange ways ( delivery of a 375 of Jack Daniels to accompany the Scotch I received). Very mellow and quiet and great service.

So my wife and I went mid December. We searched places online and while zoetry was a top contender for us as the price point was great and location was perfect for us as we were later transferring to another resort nearby. From what we found online it seemed nice and quaint. Reviews were great, and price etc. EVERYTHING was undersold. We were blown away when we arrived. It felt so vip intimidate the ENTIRE time we were there. The staff is excellent and friendly. The grounds were beautiful. And it offered great dining options. I will say my wife and I were not looking for some fist bumping, pool dj pounding music all day long resort. We wanted relaxation. We wanted beauty. We wanted sit back and unplug time. Our room was great! We had the otherwise “bottom of the barrel” option which was generous in size, had great features, a jacuzzi tub on the patio with ocean view, bottle of champagne and other adult beverages and a great spread of snacks in the room. We saw zero reason to upgrade to anything different. As mentioned the dining options were great. We loved the beach side restaurant. There was variety to the food across the restaurants which I can tell you is normally not the case with all inclusives. We did use the spa facilities which we were very impressed. We did massages and then used the other spa amenities after and that was soooo relaxing (and I’m not a massage/ spa guy at all). I do want to say we did get roped in to a timeshare presentation which I would avoid at all costs. We were taken off site, incredibly high pressure, rude tactics. Should have been expected; lived and learned. Just don’t. The pools were really nice. Not over the top but rather a luxury vip feel. Swim up bar etc. when I keep saying vip, it’s because we always felt like it was only us and 5 other couples everywhere we went. Incredibly quiet, and just gave us an exclusive tranquil feeling; mind you they were over 80% booked during our stay! We could go on and on and we were only at zoetry 3 days. We will go back no question about it. After zoetry we went to a neighboring resort which was “higher end” and muuuuch larger. Many would say very swanky but it was the 11am hits and music is bumping all. Day. Long. Ugh. To each their own and depending on what you’re looking for maybe that’s for you. We missed zoetry the entire time.
