We really had a great time-the resort was quiet, clean and the staff was incredible! Everyone was so nice and always offering food and drink. The food was great- especially seafood ceviche. Rooms were great, so comfortable! Activities were fun- Mexican fiesta, BBQ, Mexican dancing... We plan on going back next year!

This hotel is located about halfway between San Jose Los Cabos and Los Cabos. It's a short taxi ride to either location, or you might be able to take a bus ride. This visit has been one of the most relaxing vacations my wife and I have ever taken. All room are facing the water. I have been to other all inclusive hotels where the food was just so so. Her the food is great!. There are 4 restaurants, Mexican, Japanese, Italian, and a great ceviche bar. There is also a small shop where you can get sandwiches, pastries, fruit and coffee (cappuccino, etc). The beach is unswimmable due to the undercurrent but there are a whole host of infinity pools. The staff is there to serve you hand and foot through thenentire hotel. While sunning at the pool, name your drink or food and it's brought to you. I can go on and on but the last thing I am going to say is that when we return to Los Cabos, this is where we will go.

Room is very nice, super clean. If its a special event let them know, and they go out of the way for that too. Grounds also super clean, Bar service very fast. We have been here twice, food is good, pool food is awesome. Ceviche and flank steak, i could eat it for every meal (and i have). Spa and gym are nice and clean. Equipment is well maintained. The best thing about this resort would be the service. Every employee we have encountered went out of the way to make the vist nice... A+ in this area. The hotel is located 1/2 way between San Jose Los Cabos and Cabo San Lucas and is very quite. If you are looking for the party scene its about 20 minutes away. If you are a parent looking for a kid free, quite, relaxing, all inclusive resort with a great pool and beach view. This is the place.

We were on the 4th floor with a room overlooking the terraces and the crashing waves of the Pacific Ocean. GORGEOUS! Some of the people watching we couldn't avoid reminded me of 'The Bachelor' and we were amused that one couple dominated the pool most days in a provocative way. We loved ordering room service and watching the ocean from our balcony every day. We also walked along the beach down to the beach area where it's safer to swim. There are vendors selling hats, scarves, etc. to navigate but that's all part of the fun! The food was excellent. We favored the Italian restaurant as well as the Ceviche and French restaurant most days. The staff there really made all the difference though- From our Amstar driver, Miguel, who met us at the airport, to Ariceli at the front desk. The Spa was amazingly perfect. I got a manicure and pedicure from Norma and the front desk ladies and assistants (I lost their cards! but it was the two who worked on May 6) We loved our stay at Marquis Los Cabos and hope that every single person who works there is getting paid handsomely. We also hope to come back some day! Thank you for making it so pleasant and fun!

So my wife and I really didn't want to be part of the Cabo San Lucas party scene and since we left the kids at home, we really liked the idea of an Adult Only resort. For what we wanted, the Marquis didn't disappoint! While we did splurge for the suite with a plunge pool, I have to say I don't think that's necessary. I originally opted for the suite because I assumed the plunge pool with private lounge area would be "private" but unfortunately its only private in the since that only you have access. You see, the balconies of the main resort overlook your "private" area. Couple that with the fact that we rarely used the extra space of the suite... I probably shouldn't have splurged. That being said, the room was fantastic. Everything about it had that rich resort feeling that makes you feel like your getting your monies worth. Nothing is skimped on from the shower, to the vanity, to the bed, etc... I had read that the resort needed to update it's in room TV's and I'm happy to say both of our tv's where newer flat screens. The one in the living room was larger than the bedroom, the bedrooms are limited by the armoire they are housed in. The refrigerator was a nice touch and was repeatedly stocked with items we consumed the day before. The allotment never changed, drink 1 coke, they put back 1 coke etc... Sometimes I would hide stuff in the safe so I would have more the next day... SHHHH LOL. The staff at the resort was superb, very friendly, accommodating and doting! When we would sit in the lobby in the morning waiting for an excursion, someone from the main desk would always ask who we were waiting on, what time they were supposed to pick us up... call to confirm if they felt it was necessary... I mean really attentive, you NEVER feel like you are bothering them. Couple of notes: 1. French restaurant is $88/pp (not part of all inclusive) We did not partake. 2. You can eat at the Japanese restaurant (Sakke) without a reservation, but if you want hibachi, call the front desk 1st thing the day of. 3. Tipping, this is the 1st all inclusive I've been to where tipping was allowed. We found that if you didn't tip the servers by the pool, service was slow to non-existent. I got some ones from the front desk and bam, no more drinking problems! I would generally leave our waiter a $5 for breakfast/lunch and $10 for dinners. 4. Not ALL alcohol is included, my wife asked for a particular type of wine and was told that would be extra... so she just switched to another and all was good. 5. No swimming at the beach in front, we knew this going in and didn't bother us at all. Still beautiful watching the crashing waves... 6. Want excursions? I highly recommend Cabo Adventures! We booked 5 with them during our stay, very professional! 7. Spa prices are outrageous, $180 for a 50 minute massage. My wife and i did a couples 90 minute massage in Cabo San Lucas for $70... YES TOTAL for the both of us! 8. They really try to mix things up, one night they had a Mexican buffet by the pool with entertainment. Another night was a beach party theme by the pool with entertainment. 9. The food was good for an all inclusive but did get a little repetitive after 6 days. I will say that you need to look at the calendar the front desk provides as some restaurants are closed on different days. This helps to plan what your going to eat on what days. Overall I would classify this hotel as more luxury high end, definitely not bang for the buck! They do cater to large groups, but this was never really an issue with us and they did a decent job of keeping them separated.
