What an incredible surprise. Our amazing server Oscar suggested we come for outlast dinner and ask to sit in his section. He would have the Chef do something special for us. Well, special is an understatement. What an incredible dinner. It was a 5 course menu that was out of this world. The food and service was a great candidate for a Michelin Star. We had a wonderful trip. The Marquis team was incredible. It was conveniently located between San Lucas and San Jose. Easy to get to from the airport. The hotel is gorgeous and the views were incredible. Rooms were incredibly clean This is a quiet and peaceful resort that we were able to relax at. While everyone was great, we had some exceptional servers in Sergio and Julia poolside and Tania in Las Bellenas. Thank you to the whole team!

This was our first time at this resort & we loved it! The hotel & rooms are a bit older but it is very clean & the layout of the hotel is fantastic. Every room looks like it is an ocean view & one of the highlights of our trip was sitting on our balcony in the early morning with our Nespresso coffees to watch the whales. Incredible! We are big fans of travelling in the Caribbean and although this was our 3rd time in Los Cabos, we would definitely return to the Marquis! A big part of what makes a holiday so memorable & so enjoyable are the people & the food. Both of these were top~notch! We found the food at this resort to be incredible. We enjoyed every restaurant. Sometimes at all inclusives, the food all seems to taste the same despite eating at different restaurants within the resort but not here. So so sooooo good! Fresh, great details that added so much flavour & the presentation was so great. The staff at this resort helped make this experience so fantastic! Some notables that went over & above with friendliness, kindness & service were: ~ Edgar (Manager) & Valeria (our hard working server) at Vista Ballenas set the tone on our first night. It was such a great dinner & they were both so kind & gave top notch service. ~ For breakfast at Vista Bellanos, Xiomara & Adriana were just fabulous! Such great service & they seemed so happy that we were there. ~ At the Pergola restaurant….oh boy, our food was sooooo delicious! We ate here twice because it was so good! And Jorge & Nino made our evenings…so friendly, hard-working & both made our dinners even better. For our anniversary, Jorge brought us dessert with Happy Anniversary scripted on the plate in chocolate. Just an extra~special effort we appreciated. ~ The pool and beach service is also so great! We had one gal who was so lovely but I wasn’t able to catch her name & we also had Eric take care of us for a couple of our days. He was top~notch. We had some amazing sun days & a huge bonus was the service we received. I recommend the Baja ceviche with shrimp for lunch…I think I ate it every day because it was so delicious. Thank you Eric! This resort is about 15-20 minutes away by Uber from San Jose Del Cabo. It’s so worth going in to this quaint, charming little village especially on Thursdays for the Art Walk. Outdoor cafes & restaurants, charming coffee & trinket shops, art galleries make this a special little place to visit. All in all…we will be back & I can’t wait. For me, the only downfall for this resort is the beach. I love walking on a soft sand beach but this one is just a bit harder to walk on for long. The other things though helped make this resort one I recommend & will definitely return to!
