Great 7 day trip

Great trip. Staff was fantastic. Special note to the team at vista ballenas for breakfast. Adriana greats everyone with cheer. Jose is the best but the entire staff makes the day start! Hotel was clean, food was great and drinks were refreshing. View from the rooms is a standout. Nightly entertainment was better than expected. We will return.

Quiet relaxing getaway

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 20 hours ago

I wrote a review for another site so my husband will write this one from his POV: We had a good stay and there were definitely more positives than negatives. The highlights were the staff, who were consistently friendly, hardworking, and eager to help. Service throughout the resort was generally very good, and the food exceeded our expectations for an all-inclusive. There was a good variety of options, and we were usually able to find something we enjoyed at every meal. The pools were another strong point. They were well maintained, spacious, and never felt overly crowded. Our room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet, which made it easy to relax and get a good night's sleep. Alejandro from the entertainment team was great, and Dulce & Adriana were very attentive at breakfast. Shawarma tacos, pizza and Vista Ballena dinner was great, and the view sitting outside is fantastic. The food wasn't super consistent - some days 10/10 and others a little overcooked and dry, but overall very good for a resort for sure. On the downside, some of the public washrooms around the resort could use more attention. We frequently noticed empty paper towel dispensers, and some urinals were not flushing properly. Nothing that ruined the trip, but it did take away from the overall experience. The restaurant reservation system was also frustrating. Reservation times often overlapped, making it difficult to plan evenings, and availability could be limited. We would have preferred a more flexible system. Finally, evening entertainment was somewhat limited compared to other resorts we've visited. There were activities available, but the nightlife and entertainment options could definitely be expanded. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the great staff, good food, comfortable accommodations, and nice pool areas. With a few improvements to maintenance, reservations, and evening entertainment, this resort could easily score even higher.

Back again for round 2. Clean, Friendly, Magical

Im someone who is very particular and hard to impress yet I’ve been to the Marquis Los Cabos twice now. The value is great for the hospitality, accommodations, food and beyond. First things first, the resort is gorgeous. Even the lowest tiers of rooms are beautiful with scaping ocean views, and even better than beautiful they’re clean. Like spotless. Twice a day the cleaners come in to tidy up, and turn down your room at night. You can tell they keep up with the resort. Daily you’ll notice pool cleaners and other service workers tending to whatever could use a fresh paint or clean up. Every single one of the staff at Marquis is so kind. We particularly had the best time and service with Sergio Tellete poolside and Alejandro the mixologist. Sergio kept us hydrated and well fed, always with a smile on his face, well Alejandro every evening shared with us his latest creation. The staff works hard and no request feels impossible. They deserve the extra thanks and gratitude when you go! My only bouts of any ounce of negativity about the resort are 1. People save pool seats early. Go around 8:30 and you’re too late. I feel the resort should make rules around this because it creates a bit of anxiety no one wants. However the resort, even at full capacity, feels hardly full which is nice. You have a good amount of space and never feel like you’re on top of others. 2. I personally wish the food was a bit better quality, but I’m a southern Cali girl wanting healthier drinks and matchas. Currently the bar only serves the classic mixers and uses quite low quality sweaters. Despite that I still chose to go back. And this time the food was better than the first. Once you learn where to get the food you like most, you can kind of repeat it every day. My favorites are the breakfast at Vista Ballenas and the lunches at the poolside taco bar.

Marquis Los Cabos - AMAZING

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

The Marquis Los Cabos owes us nothing. This is an absolute amazing hotel. The ROOMS are very clean and the property is very well-maintained. There are 3 POOLS and all of them are very big so you aren't on top of each other. The FOOD was fantastic. All are pretty much a la carte. Finally the STAFF was super friendly. Thanks Marquis!
