MONTI!!! She kept our spirits so high the entire time and she’s the best person to have around. She is such a bright soul and exactly what we needed to keep the energy up! Such a great friend we made and we love her!!

Monty was amazing… she was extremely enthusiastic and brought the party for karaoke. Her smile was infectious and her and made me want to participate in the karaoke session.

She is so nice , fun and professional Monty is the best! In water aerobics and karaoke she is very sweet!

This is our 2nd time at Marquis and we absolutely loved it! Staff here is always super attentive and friendly from the moment we get here. I love activities that this hotel offers, from sand/water volleyball to Latin dance classes and so much more. Restaurants are amazing as well, so much to choose from and the fact they don’t require strict dress policy is just a cherry on top. I always miss getting those free drinks in the pool! Miss Marquis already as it is an amazing value, highly recommend to anyone!

We booked 3-day ocean view with plunge pool during 4th of July week. The first dinner we went to the Japanese restaurant had sushi and other dishes. We also had some more lighter food since there was a concert outside as well. This is all inclusive so we didn’t have other food. The next day, my husband and I started to have symptoms like frequent diarrhea, vomiting, and my husband also started to have fever. We ended up in the Saint Luke hospital the resort had connections and transportation with, and got diagnosed with Salmonella infection, which caused kidney failure and severe dehydration..The hospital charged $5000 US dollars deposit to give my husband IV.. we stayed for a day in that hospital and decided to return back to US the next day since we were not getting better. Luckily our flight is only 2.5 hours and my husband ended up in ER for 2 days due to critical condition with kidney failure and extreme low blood pressure and bacteremia and hospitalization for additional two days. Also, we were not the only family ended up like this since there are at least 7 groups of people went to the same hospital from Marquis (the nurse told us), and an American lady was in the room next to us and crying the whole night due to diarrhea.. and I also ran into two other families on my way back to the hotel to get things..the resort didn’t do anything with this or communicate with us and they said this is “common” with travel… my husband and I are very healthy adults and we feel sorry for the families who have senior people suffering. What a way to spend your vacation.. so take your chances!
