The property was absolutely gorgeous and the service was outstanding. We particularly enjoyed the fact that the resort was adults only, which made the pools much more enjoyable and not over crowded at all. The breakfast buffet was wonderful (ask for Jose's station) and the private dining experience was exceptional. Well worth the extra charge. Although it is a boutique property, we didn't feel the need to leave the resort at all. Great for a romantic escape, a girls getaway or a destination with friends. We will definitely be returning!

We spent a week at this property and their service was above and beyond! From every aspect in this hotel you could see each person truly cared about pleasing their guest! They were very attentive, always smiling and kind. At booking, our agent mentioned it was our birthday trip to ourselves and they had so many small gestures throughout our stay to make us feel extra special. The view you wake up to is unbelievable! Pools are HUGE! We never felt cramped or like there were too many people around us (occupancy was about 60%). Food was surprisingly very good. We ordered full breakfast to the room every morning, much better than the buffet. Best secret, and not on the menu, are their waffle fries you order pool side. They were soo yummy! The coffee shop was also our favorite morning spot, they have awesome snacks, treats, gelato, great espresso and books you can borrow! Ocean is not swimmable, as most parts in Cabo, but there is a cute bay you can walk to about 10 minutes down the beach. Bring water shoes tho!! The beach is not soft sand, they are small pebbles and they hurt like crazy! Wifi is awesome throughout, except on the far edges. For example, we got spots in front of one of the infinity pools and the wifi was terrible. If you stay near the centre pool you are good but you're on vaca, you don't always have to be connected! ;)

I will keep try and keep this brief as possible as many people have said a lot of what I would say (from a positive perspective). We were 3 couples who visited during the St. Patrick's Day week. We had all booked ocean view rooms but all received ocean front rooms without the extra charge. My brother in law was not given a King bed but they were very accommodating and moved him to the top floor with a King bed the next day. Rooms - all had great views and were very quiet. The balcony was great and provided a great place to sit and have your coffee in the morning or sit and watch the sun set in the evening with a cocktail. The beds were comfortable, the sound of the surf was great at night, no traffic noise in our rooms and the rooms were cleaned at least twice a day! The rooms were well appointed and roomy, the bathrooms nice and functional. Morning coffee - delivered to your room each morning and was adequate and a nice touch. If you want something better, stronger or hotter you can go to the Cafe which opens at 7:00am. They had great pastries and excellent coffees - Americana, espresso, cappuccino, latte, smoothies, shakes and so on. Food - there are three restaurants to eat at and one that you can book but you must pay for. I love my food and I thought that the food was good and the selection was adequate. There were two theme nights where food was severed pool side or on the beach and this provided some extra variety. Lots of Mexican food was available as well as Italian and Japanese. Some people have said the food was bland but I did not find it so; if anything some of it may have been a little salty for my taste. We had no problem getting in to any restaurant and they were very accommodating. The staff was great and attentive - some people have said that they seemed to be training but I think it is just how they do things and quite frankly it is a nice touch that ensures you get quality service and the right meal as you ordered it. You can order anything you like and combine things as you would like them. Breakfast is buffet but you can order off the menu as well. If you can't find something new to eat each day then you lack imagination or an adventurous spirit - there are lots of options to choose from. If you want something and don't see it, ask for it and you may get it. I had a cappuccino every morning with breakfast and noticed some die hards having wine or tequila, I didn't see them on the breakfast menu but you could get them. Staff - I can't say enough about them. All very courteous and helpful. Bartenders tried to make drinks as per requests even if they had never heard of them, staff set up tables for us so that all six of us could sit together at lunch and dinner, waiters by the pool got us drinks and food poolside as requested, when something wasn't right they fixed it, they assisted in getting us taxis, finding the bus, booking golf and so on. These people bent over backwards to make our stay a memorable one. Drinks - top shelf liquor is available, just ask for it or they will use bar stock. The bartenders made great drinks and had suggestions on new ones to try. I watched one make a Bellini for one lady and he had never made one before. There is a good selection of beer and frankly again, if you can't find something to drink then you have issues. Service was great and my glass was never empty. Activities - you can be quiet or you can participate in what is going on. The resort was full while we were there but it was very relaxing. There were lots of activities to participate in if you wanted. Bars - there were two bars poolside and lots of staff waiting on people. There was one bar up above in the evenings with limited seating but it was a great place to hang out and have a drink. In the evening there was music and activities going on there - karaoke, live band etc. DJ Johnny was always getting something going! Pools - lots of seating next to the pools. They were not really hot but it was hot every day and they were great for cooling off in and many people(and us) sat around in them all day long. The view from the pool was great and we never tired of it. In all, this was one of the most enjoyable and relaxing vacations we have had. To top it all off we sat poolside each day and watched the whales jumping in the ocean, helped rescue 80 plus baby sea turtles that had just hatched and watched various rays jumping along the shoreline. We would go back in a flash!

My husband and I traveled to Mexico for the first time in March 2017 over spring break. It was also our first time in an all inclusive resort. WE ARE GOING BACK! This resort was quiet and full of fun activities that were offered all day and night long. What we loved about this resort was the location.....you could stand in the pool and look at the beach and ocean which was right there! Nothing in between!! Staff was fun, helpful and friendly. The food and restaurants were good and offered a variety. If you've never been or are looking for a relaxing, beautiful, quiet break.....visit this resort.

My husband and I just returned from our first visit to Cabo. This was our first time staying at an all-inclusive resort and we had an incredible time. The service was impeccable. By the end of our week at the Marquis, Joel at the bar knew exactly what drinks we wanted. Very impressive with how many guests come through the bar area! Dafne, the hostess at Vista Ballenas, was so kind to us and so friendly! We had Jorge serve us there several times and he was hilarious and very friendly as well! Miguel served us drinks and food by the pool and was always fun to talk to! It made us feel very special that the people working here really got to know us and remembered and recognized us! The rooms were amazing! We were staying in the "cheapest" room, Oceanfront. We still had an amazing view of the water! I believe every single room in the hotel has a fantastic view. The rooms were serviced multiple times per day and kept very clean. We did run into the problem a couple times that we wanted into our room and it was being serviced, but it was no big deal! Now, most importantly, the food! You absolutely must go to Canto del Mar! It is an extra charge (I think around $80 per person) but it is absolutely worth it. The service was incredible. We especially appreciated the soup service. We had two servers ladling soup into our bowls and they were perfectly synchronized. It was incredible. Sakke has amazing sushi and our favorite, tempura ice cream! We loved Vista Ballenas and ate there several times a day. We also highly recommend ordering the guacamole and ceviche by the pool! The room service was great and we got the fried chicken tacos as a late night snack almost every night. Highly recommend! The only food we were disappointed by was the Italian restaurant. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant and sticking to the others! And of course, all the drinks are amazing (and unlimited!). We met amazing people on our trip and enjoyed every second of our vacation. I would highly recommend this resort. It is great for those hoping to avoid the "spring break" crowd. It is a much quieter atmosphere and very relaxing.
