My sister, her husband and myself took a last minute trip to get away from life stressors, celebrate having our second children and have fun before my sister started work again. The ambience was perfect, very calm yet lively. The food was great and the people were incredible. The best part was the entertainment. The staff was very inclusive with all the activities, they were very playful throughout our stay. Melanie and Esmeralda especially made us feel at home and like friends, they included us in all the games and really engaged with every guest. It’s staff like them that make this hotel feel more like hanging out with friends than a business. I would definitely recommend this resort for any special event or just a quick trip to get away.

My husband and I stayed at Marquis Los Cabos from May 6–11 to celebrate his 40th birthday, and it turned out to be one of our favorite resort experiences. If you are looking for a romantic, luxury, adults-only resort with excellent food and genuinely kind staff, this place delivers. The moment you walk into the property, the ocean view is absolutely stunning. Check-in included welcome drinks, and the staff explained how to use the app for reservations, menus, and room service. I had arranged birthday decorations for our room, which delayed our check-in until after 3pm even though we arrived around 1pm. I appreciated the surprise setup, but I do wish the front desk had also told us about the daily spa specials since we only learned about them at checkout. We stayed in a Master Suite with a rooftop plunge pool in the casitas section. The room itself was spotless, spacious, and extremely comfortable. The AC worked perfectly, housekeeping was excellent, and the room was restocked daily with drinks and snacks. One thing future guests should know is that our “ocean view” was more of a partial/garden view due to the casita location. The rooftop plunge pool setup was very large with lounge chairs and seating, but we didn’t use it as much as expected. If we returned, we would probably choose a different suite category unless we could get a lower-level plunge pool room. The food at Marquis was honestly outstanding for an all-inclusive. Instead of overwhelming buffet quantities, they focus on quality. Breakfast was buffet style, but lunch and dinner were where the resort really stood out. The absolute highlight was Canto Del Mar, the 8-course wine pairing dinner experience. It does cost extra, but it was worth every dollar. Rooney, our server, explained every course and wine pairing beautifully and made the evening feel incredibly special. I also have a fish allergy, and every restaurant handled it carefully and professionally. Francisco at Sakke even checked directly with the kitchen regarding fryer oil safety for my tempura. The Pergola quickly became one of our favorite spots. The wood-fired pizza was shockingly good, and the daily taco station was incredible. The ribeye tacos were amazing. We also loved the nightly entertainment. Several evenings featured themed buffet dinners on the pool deck with live performances. The fire dancers and punk rock night were especially memorable. Another huge positive: unlike many resorts, there was never stress about finding pool chairs. The oceanfront spots filled first, but there were still plenty of chairs available throughout the day, and every area still had beautiful views. What truly separates Marquis Los Cabos is the staff. Every single person we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care that guests had a great experience. We booked through Costco Travel, and between the included transportation, Costco perks, resort credits, flights, and upgraded suite, we felt the experience absolutely matched the price point. We would absolutely stay again.
