We loved Marquis Los Cabos! The entertainment staff particularly Karina (spelling) she made aqua gym so much fun! My husband and I did it almost every day while we were there. Also, we loved the food! We didn’t do the French restaurant. But there was enough variety that we never felt like we needed to leave the resort. We can’t wait to go back!

This hotel exceeded my expectations in a large number of ways. The room was massive, spotless and had everything I needed in it, including a well stocked included minibar. The service was fantastic, with extremely friendly and helpful staff - I didn't meet a single member of staff who wasn't pleasant, kind and really keen to ensure I had a great stay. It's not a huge hotel, which means you get to know the staff and fellow guests pretty quickly - by the time I left it felt a little like leaving a family! The pools were beautiful and extremely pleasant to lie around. All the food and drink was good - much better than I expected for an all-inclusive. The food is not Michelin star cuisine, but it is tasty, there are lots of options and it's servced nicely. The spirits include good quality brand names and the cocktails were all excellent. The pizza by the pool was delicious and the coffee shop makes excellent lattes (all included!) The hotel has all sorts of included activities and I particularly enjoyed the tequila tasting class and the Mexican cooking demonstration. The activities team are incredibly enthusiastic and seem to love what they do. I was also there the night they ran a Mexican themed party by the pool, which was organised extremely well. Fellow guests were all friendly and everyone just wanted to have a good time, but also get some rest so I would not say it was a loud 'party hotel'. The one problem, which is beyond the hotel's control and for which I felt very sorry for them, is that there is construction next door. It doesn't block the (excellent) view of the sea and the bay at all, but it is very loud, with drilling and reversing trucks. They are supposed to work from 9am-7pm, but very often they started much earlier and woke me up. The standard of the rest of the hotel experience was so good that this 'dented' but didn't completely ruin my stay. However, I would probably want to hold off going back until the construction is done or on a break for the weekend. The hotel moved me to a room as far a way from the noise as possible and informed me that they are speaking with the local authorities about this. Many other hotels in Cabo also have issues with nearby construction at the moment and the authorities need to get a grip on in, particularly given the various crime issues that have recently plagued the area, although I felt extremely safe the whole time. Would love to go back here when the construction stops, and I wish the owners, managers and staff all the best - they do a really good job!

The best 7 day girls getaway/birthday trip at this resort (Nov 11-18, 2017) The service from start to end was exceptional by the pool, room service, food, drinks (greater selection of wine should be included with all-inclusive fee, like J-Lohr, cab sav). The entertainment (DJ Jhony, Mario & the lovely/beautiful Karina). The themed nights were fun, the dancing, singing...all of it!!! All the staff were great, very accommodating & the resort grounds are immaculate. I can't remember everyone's name, but Mario & Karina were so much fun to be around, it was hard to leave. I would highly recommend this resort. We booked a couples trip with 2 other couples and was specifically look for a great place where we could enjoy Los Cabos without any children around. The Marquis is a more high-end resort, all-inclusive and they truly do serve top shelf liquor. The food has been great, but very typical of any Mexican all-inclusive resort, nothing to get excited about. The staff is great and very helpful. Location is a bit further outside of the city so keep in mind that if you want to get out and explore, it's a $35 taxi each way.

Let’s cut to the chase. No long winded talk about this or that. This is simply a wonderful hotel. Of course it’s beautiful with gorgeous views and blue sky’s. Of course the food is excellent in all regards. Of course it’s location is perfect...... it’s in los Cabos. What really makes the whole experience come together are the staff! They are the best we have experienced in los Cabos and many others vacation areas. Their attention to detail and the happy way they go about satisfying your every wish is what makes the hotel great. We wish to thank a few examples of these great people who made it all come together for us. From Karen the manager at the Mexican restaurant and Adrianna the hostess along with 0mar, Jose and Tania and all the other wait staff who made each visit an happy event. Also wish to thank Karen at the concierge desk for all her help in many things when sunwing left us totally abandoned! The front desk people were also great in this regard and the manager there ran an efficient and personable team. We thank him and his team for all their help. Best ever. In short, it’s all the hard working smiling people everywhere in the hotel that made our holiday great. Just go...you won’t be disappointed. Cheers
