Beautifully situated on a white sand beach, a long pool facing the crashing waves provides hours of relaxation. The surf and current were too strong for swimming or even wading, but the deep cerulean blue waves gave a fantastic show from the pool. Poolside service is very good at this all-inclusive resort. The Mexican dance show and buffet were very good. Breakfast was great, the servers and hostess friendly and welcoming. All of the food was surprisingly good (for an all-inclusive) but the highlight is definately the lunchtime Ceviche bar, shrimp so fresh and flavorful, served with warm chips. The room was comfortable.

My wife and I recently finished off our Canada/USA holiday with a few days of Rest at The Marquis, Los Cabos all inclusive resort. Wow. What a treat. From the moment we arrived at the beautiful welcoming reception until the last farewell hug from our beautiful and very helpful conscierge Karen, we were treated like kings. All of the staff were all so friendly and welcoming - from house cleaning to room, table and poolside service (Hugo) - fantastic. The food was was all delicious and the few days we spent at The Marquis was so restful and relaxing. A special thanks to our breakfast staff Florinde, Detzanit, Blanco and others, and our Concierge, Karen.

What a Fantastic Resort! From the moment we stepped off the bus the staff was pleasant and helpful. They were very kind and took care of you even before you tip them. They had a few things that needed to be or were being repaired from the storm they had been hit with. We tried ALL the restaurants and a lot of different food and ALL of the food was AMAZING🌯🌮the drinks were refreshing and fabulous 🍹. We had many many servers and they all did a great job but my man Marco went above and beyond and did the best for us. Now the Entertainment Staff was the best over all. They worked hard to make sure you had activities throughout the day to do. I met them on my first afternoon with a game of pool volleyball. We also did rifle shooting, blackjack, stretching, corn hole, basketball, fire show, dancing and bar hopping. We were even there for Mexican Independence Day and had a big fiesta that night. They made me laugh so much and I probably made them laugh just as much. I mean hung out with this crew like we had been friends for years. They talk to you, joke with you, play the activities with you and make sure your ok. DJ Johnny, Karina, Christian, & Mario all did their job to the fullest. I would go back just to hang out with them. 😁 I would truly like to thank Mario for going above a beyond talking with me a keeping me company on one of the night my friends turned in early and I was at the bar alone. I had a great experience and would totally do it all over again!

We chose this Resort because it was All Inclusive for Adults only. The only reason it did not get a 5-star rating was because the elevator was broken the entire time of our visit. We had incredible service from Florinda, Juan Dimas, our housekeeper was great, the front desk people and concierge service were always there to help. I cannot emphasize this enough - but the service is outstanding. The resort is beautiful. Everything was clean and cannot wait to come back to this resort.

Check In & Transportation: The resort is 25 minutes from the airport. I suggest calling the hotel ahead of time and arranging transportation. Thankfully we had done this beforehand, so the moment we landed until walking into the resort was effortless! Everyone involved was very attentive and helpful. Check in took a few minutes and we were greeted with a delicious refreshment. We love those little perks :) Jorge escorted us to our casita and was extremely helpful, going above and beyond to give us a tour of our room. He made us feel very special and welcome. The Room: We stayed in Casita 714 and can't say one negative thing about it! It's tucked away in the corner making you feel like you have your very own private getaway! Outside of the enormous sliding glass doors of the room is a private pool and a sitting area overlooking the ocean. The perfect place to watch the sunrise and drink coffee! The room has a living space, dining area, small kitchen, a bedroom with a seating nook, a master bathroom, and a guest bathroom off of the living space. It's huge and very well accommodated. We enjoyed room service several times which was very quick and VERY delicious. We enjoyed mimosas and breakfast with some friends in our tucked away paradise casita many mornings! The Service: WOW! Every single staff member went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and special. (And that's even before tipping them) Typically there's a stigma with all inclusive resorts and the service (or lack thereof) provided by staff but this place has top notch staff members. I don't think we were ever told "no". If someone was unable to assist us with something, they always found a way to make things happen (including opening the bar early so that we could watch our favorite NFL team in a bar atmosphere rather than in our room). The pool service was amazing! Ask for Hugo! He is fantastic! Esteban was great as well! And I cannot say enough great things about the wonderful breakfast staff. Alexandra and all the women and waitstaff at breakfast were always so warm, welcoming, and attentive. The Food and Drinks: 5+ Stars! I am not one to OVERindulge on trips, but it was impossible at Marquis. Every single meal was so decadent, beautifully prepared, and delicious. The breakfast omelettes were very good. I got hooked on the French Toast and again.... the mimosas!!!! For lunch, our favorite was the Deviled Chicken Skewers and for dinner, the Sakke Restaurant although my husband says Italian was his favorite. Either way, you can't go wrong. Everything was outstanding. Drinks were just as good as well. Mixed drinks, champagne, beer, tequila shots.... we tried it all. All in all, this place far exceeded our expectations. Their beautiful pools, well kept grounds, scrumptious food, amazing staff, and that stunning beach will have us coming back! Side Note for those who are worried about Zika, travel warnings, etc. We didn't see one single mosquito the entire time we were there. Not one! And I was pretty paranoid prior to our trip since we are planning to grow our family in the next year. As far as safety in Mexico, while we didn't leave the resort, the travel to and from was a breeze and we never felt even the slightest bit unsafe. We will be going back as soon as we can :)
