Jose Figueroa was awesome! He was on top of keeping our drinks filled. We didn’t have blm the second day and kept saying we missed José!

From start to finish, our experience was outstanding thanks to the incredible team. Adriana was, as always, thoughtful and attentive — her consistent care truly stands out. At Vista Ballenas, Alejandro, Jesus, Reuben, Tania, and Glenda provided amazing service and made breakfast each morning a delight. Poolside, the staff worked tirelessly to ensure every guest was comfortable and well taken care of. A special thank-you to Sergio T., Sergio, Julio, Mariacruz, and Jose for their hard work, friendly attitude, and excellent service. Each evening at Pergola, Juan made our visits memorable with his attentive and professional service. Overall, the entire team went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. We’re so grateful for their efforts and can’t wait to return!

My wife and I plus another couple had a fantastic experience staying at Marquis!!We arrived to the hotel and the first sign of how Cabo is safe was the security gate to enter the property. If not on the list you can’t enter the property. Not even Uber nor Lyft, passengers must meet those companies outside the gate. Once entering we were warmly greeted with friendly smiles a cocktail. Brenda checked us in making it seem a very simple process. Maybe it’s because Liliana takes pride in ensuring the front desk and reservations run flawlessly!! While my friend and I did the paperwork our wives enjoyed the stunning ocean and property views from the open air lobby. We had arrived fairly early, late morning, and our room was already prepared. Rodolfo, a very knowledgeable bell man and I believe 21 year veteran employee, guided us to our room and helped get our luggage situated for unpacking. Our room was stunning. We had an upstairs Casita. Upon walking up to the door the hotel had noted it was my wife’s birthday celebration and they had a banner on the door wishing her a happy birthday. Inside the room I had balloon bouquets, a balloon photo op wall, a giant heart balloon and rose petals wishing my beautiful bride a happy birthday. It not being our first nor last stay at Marquis Hotel, management had kindly gifted my wife a wonderful bottle of Tequila, her drink of choice at Marquis. We also shared a birthday cake and some amazing chocolates and macarons. Our first night’s dinner was at Sakke which I think is my favorite of the 6 restaurants. Not sure if it’s the food or Chef Francisco’s personality,….probably the combination of the 2. Victor was a great waiter; so very kind and had such great English!!! Most all the staff are bilingual which really helps a gringo like me. Out of respect to the staff I really need to learn more Spanish!!😔 Xochiti, I hope I spelled that correctly was a very attentive server as well. My wife and I often enjoy starting our Marquis days with a round trip walk on the beach and then head upstairs for breakfast. Breakfast offers a wonderful buffet but should a guest want/need something particular please just ask. My wife likes a poached egg and they make them perfectly. It will take a little time but are you in a rush? A very pleasant surprise our first morning was having Chef Hotter stop by our table and also Food & Beverage Manager Carlos Adame. So great to see and chat with them!! I’m not usually a Breakfast eater but how can I pass up seeing the happiest hostess ever, Adriana. One morning she had set up a beautiful birthday table for my wife. She had gone to the store on her own and brought in very cute cherry 🍒 plates, napkins, streamer and then Carmen, baker extraordinaire, make a cake and frosted it to match the plates, napkins and streamer. So many, if not all the breakfast staff surrounded our table to sing happy birthday to my wife. She loved the acknowledgment of her turning two handfuls, 55. Enrique was our server that morning and was wonderful. Mr. Adame sent a wonderful champagne bottle to our table which we opened and finished down at the pool. WHAT A START TO A DAY!!!!!! Pools at the Marquis are fairly quiet in the mornings and get busier and more social as the day and drinks move along. Food and beverage service around the pool is phenomenal!! This past trip we were lucky enough to have had Arturo, Jose Figueroa, Sergio Muerto, and Monserrat serving our seating sections. Jose was very kind in opening and serving the bottle of champagne for us. Hotel Food and Beverage went so above and beyond for our lunches and dinners. Chef Rene put his knife skills to work with amazing plating of fruits, perfectly cooked steaks and the shrimp,…oh the shrimp!! Chef Francisco in Sakke seems to just love his trade. He is a master of presentation and then the flavors,…WOW!! I’m still thinking about the butterfly carrots under glass and the grilled steak sushi along with the other sushi rolls. Chef Hotter, have you tried the steak sushi??!! Chef Alejandro at Pergola was doing table side flambé shrimp!!! What a show and what a meal. I think we decided it was the best Pergola meal ever. I remember when the food at Marquis was “ok.” That was before Chef Hotter and his talented team started working together to revamp menus and create consistency every night every dish. Oh my, how far things have come!!! I realized this past trip just how much communication goes on between the Food and Beverage Manager, Head chef and individual restaurant chefs. Thank you all so much!!!!!! I’m humbled. My wife and I don’t generally leave the hotel as we love the ocean views from the pool during the day along with the fun games provided by the entertainment staff. The variety of food offerings for lunches and dinners combined with the amazing flavors leaves me not wanting to venture to the many recommended off site restaurants. Also, all the staff are so amazing; who wants to leave all those smiles? My wife and I feel Marquis staff is the friendliest staff and hardest working we have encountered at any hotel resort. Breakfast we are so warmly greeted by Adriana and then attended to by Tania, Jesus, Enrique….We feel every time the pool service staff walk by they always ask if there is something they can get us!! If we thank them for something their kind response is always, “It is my pleasure.” Thank you Arturo, Jose Figueroa, and Sergio Muerto for keeping me fat and happy around the pool. At dinners- Nohemi is a great new Captain at Pergola. Mauricio was a great waiter at Pergola and Oscar is outstanding!!! Sophia at Sakke, thank you for accommodating our tardy arrival😔. Victor, Antonio and Mario, thank you for your service at Sakke. The men and women at Marquis work so hard,…don’t forget to tip them including the staff that entertain us all day and night we thank you,…Jonny, Jared, Esmeralda, Monserrat, and Katya. I look forward to every trip to Marquis. My favorite trips are the ones where my friends ask at the end of the trip, “When are we coming back?!”

From the moment we stepped off the shuttle bus we were greeted warmly and were impressed with breathtaking views. The concierge staff Gabriela, Samantha and Karen were very friendly and assisted us with our dinner reservations and excursions. The rooms had beautiful views and would stock you with whatever you needed. The food was very good at all the restaurants. We did not attend the French restaurant but all the others did a great job. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and the hostess Adriana knew our names and so pleasant. Marco our waiter made sure our espresso martinis never were empty and even sent off with a lunch for our trip back to the airport! The wait staff by the pool were always making sure you had plenty to drink and eat. I can’t say enough about how attentive the staff was, they really made the stay wonderful. We never left the resort other than a sunset cruise. The spa was also worth it! It was so relaxing! If you are looking for a place to just chill and relax, this is the place! My daughter and I did not want to leave!
