We just returned from a well needed vacation spending six days at this resort. The hospitality and service by all the staff was outstanding. We had a 4th floor centrally located room with amazing views, and although the elevator was out of service due to the recent storm, we did not mind as we needed the exercise! One of my favorite things about the rooms was the morning coffee/pastry/news delivery without being disturbed. My recommendation to the hotel is to make sure the coffee carafes are well sealed as there was a day or two that my coffee was not as hot as it should have been because the the carafe was not sealed properly. We also loved the complimentary minibar stocked with snacks, beer, and water. Pool side service was outstanding and so was the Ceviche that we had for lunch every day. We tried several varieties and it was all excellent, I will miss the Ceviche most! All of the pool side servers work really hard and deserve all the tips they get but we have to give extra special thanks to Arturo who took the time to know our names and was extra attentive. The entertainment staff was hilarious, Fernando, Karina, Christian and DJ Johnny made us laugh every day. I was thankful for the daily aqua gym at noon to work off some of those drink calories! Speaking of drinks, the youngest bartender (didn't get his name) at the Suspiro bar made the best cocktails, my husband appreciated that he knew the proper way to make a Manhattan, and extra thanks to Diego for his excellent service at that bar. All of the ladies that were hostessing were gracious and friendly, we did not get everyone's names unfortunately, but we do have to also give special thanks to Susi who was very attentive and excellent at her job. Thanks to all of the staff from the front desk reception to the ladies who serviced our rooms, everyone made it a very special stay and we hope to return in the future!

We just returned from a fantastic week spent at Marquis Los Cabos to celebrate my birthday, but also a much needed vacation for us without kids. Check in was seamless and although we had arrived before our room was ready - it was promptly available at the time they had stated at check in. We arrived at our room (we did the upgrade for the plunge pool and would highly recommend) to find a happy birthday sign and welcome cake. The rest of the week was filled with consistency, excellent service and food and above all, a wonderful resort to wind down and relax. To all the staff - Jorge at check-in; Ana and Karen at the concierge, Adriana/Carlos/Alexandra/Johnnie at Vista Ballenas/Sake; Rigoberto/Arturo/Gabriel at the pool and Adan/Lucio/Marcelino at Suspiro - we had such a fantastic week and truly appreciated all they did for us. Various members of the staff knew us by name at the end of our week and our preferences for food/drinks - top of the line service. They do work very, very hard and appreciate the effort to speak Spanish and also tip - we brought cash to tip throughout the week. The entertainment team was also enjoyable and provided activity and comic relief throughout the week. We would highly recommend this resort for a getaway, even a long weekend if that's all you can do - you wouldn't even have to leave the resort. Food and drinks were terrific - but, the service, put this place at an even higher notch in our travel book We look forward and hope to be back very soon!

The staff at Marquis Los Cabos was amazing. A quite get away adult only venue with wonderful views. The service was top notch and the food was excellent. Recommend Marquis: The breakfast staff at Vista Ballenas starting with the Hostess Adriana & the manager Karla could not of been more pleasant and attentive. The team of Florinda, Alexandria, Matin, Isaias & Tania were fantastic. Mucho gracias Vista Ballenas for such a warm send off the morning of our departure.

We booked a bundled deal on Expedia for 7 nights with air and shared ground transportation with Grey Line for $3349.49 with 8 weeks lead-time before departure. We booked shared transport as this resort resides closer to the airport so drop offs would be minimized. Grey Line has good airport presence right outside the doors so just make a bee line all the way out the door ignoring all attempts to intercept you for time share pitches. Checkin was a breeze, but we did end up going to our room 334 with our bags by ourself because the bellmen just left with a big load of bags and we knew we would have to wait a long time before they came back down, so we did it ourselves. We quickly unpacked and went down to the pool. We were looking for a place to sit and along came Alfredo, he took great care of us immediately, making sure we had plenty of shade and towels. The room we stayed in was on the third floor. We had a basic room. It was very spacious and clean, with plenty of room to hang your things, in fact some of the best closet space we have seen amongst all inclusive’s we have been to. The safe was located just under the TV, so it was much easier access then a lot of hotels. It was also a good size, as it could hold all the iPads and iPhones with room to spare. To our surprise the hotel actually had the big fight on in the sports bar, so we ate the nice buffet they had played out and watched the fight on our first night. The service was great, they bar staff worked super hard to keep everyone happy and i think they did great job. Grounds are beautiful and well kept. Marco was one of the servers around the pool and he is very attentive. People seem to be concerned about not having a swim up bar, but the service around the pool is the best that we have seen. You lack for nothing, they seem to know when you are thirsty or hungry. We ate Breakfast at the buffet, and we were greeted by Adrianna, the hostess, she is so happy to do her job and makes you feel like long lost family. After the first time she gets your name, she will greet you every time by your family name. The staff is so attentive and friendly. At Breakfast you have the option of buffet or menu, we saw many people doing both. One day they had a spinach quiche that was melt in your mouth, so i was looking forward to seeing it again on the buffet. When we went down for breakfast two days later, sadly it was not on the buffet again, but my husband saw Chef Thierry and asked him when they were going to have it again, and he said if you want one, you will get one, we just had to wait 45 minutes, so we did and boy was it good. We also ate at the Italian and Sakke. They were both about a 6 to 7 on a 10 scale our baseline includes stays at Sandals, Secrets, Gran Bahia and Iberostar. We preferred the Italian because of the great service by Gabriel the waiter. It is an outdoor restaurant, the salad bar was small, but good and the Seafood Risotto was the best I have had. They customized it for me, so I was super happy! Too bad the weather turned on us, we were not able to get back down for some more. We enjoyed the coffee shop a few days, but then it was closed during the storm. As i mentioned the weather turned on us while we were there. We where hit by the tropical storm Lidia. The preparations the hotel did were very good. You never really noticed the preparations no panic just professional buttoning down the hatches so to speak. Wednesday they were preparing for the storm, and we had the pool all to our selves. The weather started turning later in the afternoon, we knew we would have to ride out Lidia. They buttoned down the elevators, but they showed us back access to the service elevators and stairs. Thursday morning, they still gave us the daily coffee service in our room, which we were very surprised to see. They had posted signs on where to go for breakfast. They had the buffet set up in a conference room, you could still order off the menu, if you wanted to. They had games, movies, blackjack and a bar set up their. The entertainment staff did a wonderful job. Some people where freaked out by the storm but….the hotel did a great job overall! So it was room service for Thursday night! We were not going out of the room. They delivered in a timely matter, quick and efficient. The only issue I had was you had to order wine by the glass. Now we have been stuck in our room all day, and you can’t bring one bottle of wine to our room? Friday, the water was out, back downstairs to the conference room for breakfast with everyone telling their stories, Lidia was starting to finally move away from us. The water finally came back on around 1 or so. The hotel was quick to respond to any issues that came up. When the water came back on we ventured back to the conference rooms, just to get out of our room. We were happy to hear that they were opening the outside bar and people began milling about. We left Saturday, and the staff at the Vista Ballenas all wished us a safe trip home apologizing for the weather. Overall it is very good price-value, quiet and tranquil which we had sought. A very relaxing resort that takes care of its customers and has a lot to do with the energy of the staff of special note Ricardo at the bar, Gabriel at the bar and waiter at the Italian, Marco by the pool, Adrianna hostess at buffet, Alexandra waitress at buffet, Floridian waitress at buffet, Alfredo the pool attendant and Chef Thierry for the quiche.

My sister and I needed a good safe place for some rest & relaxation so we picked this all-inclusive. Although we were the minority there as most were honeymooners and couples celebrating anniversaries, we never felt uncomfortable. The food there was some of the best I've ever had (the ceviche' and baja tacos are a must have!) and the Asian restaurant "Sakee" was our favorite place in the evening for dinner. Everything is casual/resort wear but still first class dining experience with white table clothes, etc in the restaurants; so no need to pack anything real dressy. My only items on the wish list would have been more entertainment for the evenings as it was not as good as my prior experiences where the shows were amazing. Also, a good bit of the food was served outside and the flies were relentless at trying to steal the food. I wish they had some way to cover the buffets outside as we would not eat the food that was on the outside buffet for that reason. The service staff were amazing and left us with some great memories and laughter. A thank you to Mario and Christian with the entertainment staff, Martin (server), Adam (bar) as it is obvious they love their jobs. They had both premium liquors at the bar along with beer. The Mojitos were amazing. Thank you, thank you, thank you for a wonderful relaxing getaway.
