Marquis Los Cabos

Great atmosphere and service across our week. The entertainment team were great especially Esme who went above and beyond and made everyday a laugh and enjoyable.

This is our third time staying at marquis, and probably one of the best. Last time we stayed it was shortly after Covid and before that 2017. The food is great and as a chef myself probably about as tops Tier as you can get along with Le blanc. There are some things I think one could complain as far as maintenance and cleanliness, but like most all inclusive’s I understand it can be hard to keep up with the crowds coming and going. Would stay here again with out question!! Love the addition of cabanas at the pool, I would say the server should be more dedicated to the cabanas Because ours was not.

Great location, rooms were nice but we had a leaky toilet and a broken faucet. Noise level was low, it was generally calm. Some people would play their music with speakers at the pool which was not appreciated. Service was excellent, bring plenty of tip money!

We stayed at El Marquis in Los Cabos to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday, and unfortunately what should have been a special trip turned into a deeply disappointing experience. Even before arriving, we had requested — at the time of booking — that one of our rooms be decorated to celebrate my mother's birthday. This was never done. When we asked about it, staff told us it would be taken care of the following day, but it never happened. From the first night, we found numerous cockroaches in one of our two rooms, including several appearing in the bathroom at night. On top of that, food ordered à la carte (prepared to order) came out with hair in it on more than one occasion. The most serious incident happened on our last night. My sister was served a drink with ice, and while stirring it with a straw, she noticed something unusual — it turned out to be a large piece of glass mixed in with the ice. When we brought this to the waiter's attention, staff took the drink away immediately, without allowing us to keep it as evidence. They then initiated a "safety protocol," having my sister medically evaluated — but it felt less like genuine concern and more like an effort to document, in writing, that nothing had happened to her, presumably to avoid liability. Separately, a waitress at the pool accidentally collided with me while carrying a tray of drinks (neither of us saw the other coming), spilling several alcoholic drinks on me. Despite the fact that it was a mutual accident, and that I helped pick up the glasses off the floor and apologized out of courtesy, she never apologized and reacted with visible frustration. This reflected a broader pattern of poor attitude from the wait staff throughout our stay. On our final day, once staff were aware of the glass incident, the service suddenly became overly attentive — but by that point we no longer trusted the food or drinks being served to us. We would not return to this hotel, and we'd strongly encourage others to consider these issues before choosing to stay here.

First trip to this area Mexico. The staff was great. The food was very filling amd very fresh. The rooms are spacious and kept very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend to friends.
