Just returned from 8 days of full relaxation. From the time we were greeted at the front desk, which has spectacular ocean views, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The people were very friendly from the front desk to Adriana who greeted us every morning by name for breakfast at Vista Ballenas, to our various servers by the pool, staff at the coffee shop, and the various servers during dinner, they really care about making you feel at home. Service appears to be a top priority at the resort and it really shows. The food was also quite excellent, and I consider myself to be a foodie. There were not many restaurants to choose from, but the quality was exceptional and enjoyed every meal, especially the various ceviche options for lunch. They also bring hot coffee and some small breakfast items to the room each morning, which was great as we watched the sunrise from our ocean front balcony. The room is quite spacious and the beds were very comfortable. My only complaint was our room was slightly back from the ocean (since part of the building is structured like a step) so we did not have a full panoramic ocean view as one side was blocked by a wall jutting out and the lot next door was under construction from what appears to be a new hotel. My advice is to request a room on the West side of the resort (away from construction and closer to the ocean). The infinity pools were great which provided some spectacular views. You cannot swim in the ocean, which we new beforehand, but there is a small area by the Hilton where you can swim in the ocean which is a 15 minute walk along the beach. The resort is extremely clean as we saw people cleaning constantly throughout the day and night. This is by no means a party resort. Its a great place to relax and unwind, and cant wait to go back to do so again.

Very well run and maintained resort. All inclusive without the wild all-you-can-drink crowd. Food and beverage were abundant and accessible. Staff went above and beyond to provide memorable service - after 3 days many of them remembered our names and our preferences. On departure, the shuttle company had a malfunction so the resort provided private transportation - exceptional! The resort is very small and intimate which we enjoyed. Never felt crowded or waited for service. Pool and beach area - beautiful and clean. The highway is very close and you could hear traffic noise in the room - could be improved with better doors. There was a large gap under the door that we blocked with a towel which greatly reduced the traffic noise. Upgraded to oceanfront in hopes of avoiding the highway but did not help. The Italian restaurant was our favorite. French was OK but not sure if worth the $. The Mexican restaurant was very poor - my husband actually became ill after eating dinner. Overall, this resort is a good value but not sure I would return. Exceptional service made this a successful vacation!

A perfect 3 nights for my 50th birthday. This place was beyond expectations. Beautiful facilities and never felt crowded. The staff make this place extra special. Everyone was so kind and giving. Food was amazing. Especially Vista Ballenas. Went there for breakfast lunch and dinner. Thanks to the manager Karla. The hostess Adriana always went out of way to make you feel welcome and special. Our waitress Florinda was so good. At our final lunch before departing, the whole staff came over with a special farewell cheesecake and wished us a safe trip.

Our only issue with the whole time was our reservation was lost somewhere in the process. Once that was resolved, our time was fantastic. There was a taco bar two days for lunch at the Pergola that was great and dinner at Sakke we very much enjoyed. The staff everywhere were over the top. We had a great time and are planning to come back again for another vacation in the future.
