Marquis Los Cabos

Second Visit and Just as Incredible! This is our second time staying at Marquis Los Cabos, and there is definitely a reason we came back! From the beautiful location and pools to the incredible food and service, this resort is truly something special. What really sets Marquis apart are the people. Fernanda, the restaurant manager, Oscar, and the chef have been absolutely phenomenal. I have celiac disease, and the care they have taken with my meals has been incredible. The chef personally came to our table to talk with me, explain my options and make sure everything was prepared safely. That personal attention allowed me to simply relax and enjoy some AMAZING food! Fernanda and Oscar have gone above and beyond as well. The service, attention to detail and genuine care from the entire team is exactly why you come back to a place like this. Beautiful resort, incredible Infinity pools, the waves, phenomenal food and even better people. This was visit number two, and there will absolutely be a third! Five stars isn’t enough.

Marquis was in a great location, right between San Jose and Cabo San Lucas, so it was convenient to take day trips to both areas. The only thing about Marquis’ location is that you can’t swim directly on their beach due to rip tides, but you can take a 7-10 minute walk down the beach to another resorts’s swim area. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, and restaurant service was spectacular! The food was amazing everywhere we went and the drinks never stopped flowing. Decor and atmosphere were welcoming and warm, noise level was appropriate and you can tell they take measures to ensure guests’ comfort. We went for our honeymoon and staff were so thoughtful and giving with special desserts and treats. I think the resort was well worth the money, paid about $4,500 total for two people, including flights, resort fees, and excursions! The rooms were very clean and housekeeping was attentive and came once a day to restock snacks and to make beds and give new towels. The only thing about the rooms I felt odd about was the bathroom situation - there was a big archway from the bed area into the bathroom, so trying to have privacy in the toilet stall (a separate frosted glass room just for toilet) was odd. Otherwise I would 100% do it again! Love that there were no kids!
