Honestly - everything we wanted from an all inclusive resort and more. Very good food, very good drinks, amazing service and such friendly staff. Really awesome all around at a reasonable price. We loved every single pool side server we had, the waiters, all cleaning staff. Will absolutely be back. WELL worth the money.

Beautiful resort kept spotlessly clean. Food is excellent, my foodie husband has loved many meals. Fidel Emilio at the bar is so attentive and helpful.

We took our family (4 rooms) to the resort. Overall, the experience was pleasant, with good food and a great view of the ocean, where whales swim by regularly. The resort was mainly adults over 40, yet in the afternoon, they felt the need to have a DJ on the lawn, yelling into a microphone nonstop and playing modern club music while we were trying to relax in our cabanas or by the pool. I heard other guests whose rooms were close to this area complain to management. Luckily, our rooms were on the other side of the resort, so we weren't as affected unless we were at the cabanas we rented for the day. We had a very expensive couples massage completely ruined because the spa is on the other side of the wall where the DJ is set up, and all we heard for 80 minutes was the loud thumping of club music and a DJ who yacked nonstop in Spanish. The massages themselves were wonderful. The resort is nice, but they need to decide whether they will cater to the upper-class, mature clientele who want a place to relax and unwind, or to the 20-40-year-old crowd who want to party. As an observance, no one really participated in the DJ activity, which lasted for hours each day. At night, there was more traditional soft music or musicians that suited the resort well. The other disappointment was that, although the restaurants were good, on two of our four nights there, they held themed dinners on the beach, so most of the restaurants were closed. If you didn't want the themed dinner and didn't get a reservation for one of the one or two open restaurants, you were out of luck. We also had group pictures taken through the resort photographer and were generally disappointed with the shots, and the $10 per picture cost seemed ridiculous for a 30-minute shoot for four couples. We truly enjoyed a 3-hour private yacht rental for snorkeling and whale watching, which you can book through the resort or directly with the yacht companies at a discount. If I were to rate the experience, it would be 8 out of 10. If they got rid of the DJ, it would have been a 9.

Chef Alejandro and server Oscar Velasquez at the Pergola dinner were absolutely amazing! They knew it was our Anniversary and made an amazing five course dinner and created a romantic experience for us to remember forever.
