Marquis Los Cabos

Beautiful hotel, good food. nice vibe. However, beware if they offer to “upgrade” you to a casita because regular rooms are “not available”. Casitas are spacious but they first put us in one that was right next to pool chairs so no privacy or view. Then when we said we wanted the ocean view room that we had reserved, they instead put us in one that had a view of a wall! We insisted on being switched. I can understand the first offer but then they should have given us the room that we had reserved and paid for. And it thus took a very long time to get checked in.

The activities were very fun from Katya and all the other activity hosts were very nice. I will be coming again soon this resort is very nice and exceeded my expectations.

We decided to come back to Marquis Los Cabos after having such a great stay earlier in the year. This time we brought a couple of friends, and once again the hotel was incredibly accommodating — even helping us with room changes and making sure everyone was comfortable. We enjoyed the stunning views and those lazy, perfect days by the pool. This stay also had a few new touches, which was really cool to see. We’ve been to so many hotels where everything feels the same, so we appreciated the variety they added — even the food felt much better this time. They also have a very tasteful burlesque show, which is honestly perfect for this kind of resort. The atmosphere during the show really brought the energy up for the rest of the night. Overall, we’d definitely recommend Marquis Los Cabos for couples and first-time guests. As for us… let’s see if we end up coming back again next year!

We had an amazing time at this resort. The food was excellent, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, and it was on a very nice and quiet section of the beach. This is not in Cabo San Lucas, where a lot of people go to party and have fun. This is about 20 minutes northeast of that, and it's perfect for a quiet getaway! We will definitely be back!

We just finished a week here at Marquis Los Cabos and our experience was first class in ever way. Starting with our check-in Jesus made us feel very welcome and David who showed us to our room was very welcoming and friendly. The activity team went above and beyond to make our time at the resort special. Johny, Katja, and Monty were very friendly, fun and full of energy. They all made you feel like a special guest at every encounter. The activities were a lot of fun and the stretch class every morning at ten am in the spa was outstanding. Our meals and every restaurant we ate at for breakfast, lunch and dinner was exceptional. Each dining experiences went beyond delicious with the freshest of ingredients beautifully prepared. Once again, the staff on every occasion made our experience memorable. Always greeted with smiles, sincere conversations and excellent service during our meals had us looking forward to every dining experience. Breakfasts at Vista Ballenas were delicious with custom omelettes, fresh yogurt, baked bread and a beautiful assortment of fresh pastries was just the start of a great breakfast. After the first day our hostesses Gemma or Adriana greeted us by our first names and the warmest of smiles. Once seated we were served most days by Xiomara who was exceptional at making us feel special. Lunches at Vista Ballenas was even better with the same excellent service and Delicious food. Our favourite items on the menu here were marinated salmon carpaccio, fresh spinach salad with prawns, grilled salmon and tenderloin. In fact our first lunch at Vista Ballenas was so special we asked Xiomara to bring out the Chef so that we could thank him personally. We ate twice at Sakke for dinner which was also an amazing experience. The atmosphere, fresh food, service and entertainment by our Teppanyaki Chef Donald made for a delightful and memorable experience. In the middle of the resort is the Suspiro Bar one level up from the pool. The drink selection is excellent and the head bar tender Alejandro was a master of his craft who crafted each cocktail with pride and precision. We really enjoyed a cocktail class activity with Alejandro where he showed us how to make five of the delicious cocktails featured on the menu. Our final night at Marquis Los Cabos was a dining experience we will never forget. We ate 3 evenings at Pergola on the poolside patio overlooking the Ocean at Pergola restaurant. Our waiter all three nights was Mauricio with his friendly service, warm smile and charismatic laughter. Mauricio was kind enough to organize a special dinner for our last night prepared by Chef Alejandro Perez. As each course was served Chef explained the ingredients and how it was prepared. To say the least this rivalled any Michelin experience we have ever experienced. Even the daily cleaning of our room was perfect in every way with every small detail taken care of. In summary, Marquis Los Cabo is a very special resort that provided us with a very memorable experience and excellent vacation . The amenities, food and beverage and in particular every staff member we met was there to make our vacation excellent. Thank you Marquis Los Cabo.
