The hospitality, service, and beauty of this resort far exceeded our expectations. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly and courteous. The food and drinks were all amazing. There were always activities which were very enjoyable and entertaining! It was so relaxing to lay poolside or by the beach. The sunrise and sunset were phenomenal and the overall resort was top notch. The waiters surprised us with a delicious slice of cheesecake which read “happy honeymoon” on our first morning and another slice of cheesecake which read “have a nice trip” on the day we left. The service was excelente! Mucho gracias to all the staff at Marquis Los Cabos for an unforgettable honeymoon!! We definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking to visit Cabo.

This place was amazingly relaxing as it was beautiful. Every room offers an ocean view. The restaurants offer variety of meals. Vista Ballenas Breakfast/lunch items are delicious and the staff members (Adriana, Tania, Jose) are very attentive. The manager, Karla, is so hospitable, we felt we were among family. Relaxing at poolside was amazing. Marcos was on top of our drinks and appetizers- we will definitely return

We returned in 2018 with another couple because we enjoyed our stay so much in 2017. We were fortunate enough to get picked up at the airport in the Marquis SUV. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the check in staff with a refreshing drink in hand! Rene was efficient and remarkably helpful to us during our entire 9 night stay. Ronoldo helped us with our luggage and golf clubs. We were so surprised he remembered us from last year. He handled most of our daily golf club storage and requests for taxis. He chatted with us numerous times upon our return and while we waited for transport. What an asset he is to your resort! Our assigned room was high up and in the south end of the building (because of construction next door on the north side). The views we extraordinary! See pics. Every night, we kept the slider doors open to listen to the ocean waves lull us to sleep in our clean, gorgeous room. I could write an entire chapter but will attempt to keep this commentary as short as I can. Even though there was a very large conference going on for our first 3 days, the staff accompanied us in restaurants that were open. One eve we were given a free bottle of premium wine due to having been to 2 restaurants and turned away because they were closed for conference attendees. The Italian restaurant was able to get us in. The food remained exceptional everywhere we ate: Canto Del Mar (French): we used our resort credit to dine. It is the only restaurant that one must pay out of pocket. They opened it on an off night for the 4 of us and one other couple. I have been to France and this restaurant and staff rival the experiences I have had in that country! The food was exquisite and Sergio, Jorge and Diego were very attentive to our needs. Vista Balenas: we ate breakfast here every day (ordered off the menu). The fresh fruit plate is out if this world delicious! Many thanks to Karla, the manager, Waite staff: Tania, Detzanit and Marco. Adriana, the hostess, greeted us every day exuberantly welcoming us by name. She is a precious gem! Never let her leave, please. Pergola (Italian): we ate here 3 Times. The steak dinners, risotto and spaghetti were luscious, and of course the Opera cake for desert. Sagid was our waiter twice. We really enjoyed his service because he took the time to engage us in conversation. His personableness was very charming and he makes the best flaming Mexican coffee ever. It is quite a show! See picture. On our last night, we said good bye to him with a hug. And he said “go Vikings,” remembering we are big fans. He is our favorite waiter! Sakke: go early if you prefer to eat outside on the small patio. We have never tried the indoor Japanese cooking, maybe next time. It looked like fun. All staff were very helpful and the sushi was good (though not as much as when I was in Japan). Don Mares: be sure to order the guacamole and any of the varied chiveches. They are beyond yummy! Really, we can’t find any thing like it back home! Also loved the fish tacos, quesidias and flank steak. The entire staff is totally service oriented. Bar Suspiro: the highlight was the great super Bowl party with so much food. Did some wine tasting one night and we’re sorry to have missed the tequila tasting. Since we golfed 6 days, we did not participate in the many of the daily activity offerings. But they will keep you amply busy! This is an adults only Resort, which we appreciate. Surely, we hope to return in 2019! Thanks everyone, Karen Matzke

I would give this a 5 except for one negative that I think is kind of a big deal in a outside oriented Mexico resort location. All other parts of this property, staff, experience was positive. the NEGATIVE that they have to fix is that their two pools were not heated and were like lake water going into them...UNACCEPTABLE! This may work in July when the outside temp is 90 degrees, but not in January when it is the upper 70's...BAD!
