Exceptional accommodations, exceptional service! Kindest and best humored staff we've come across. Enjoyed a beach dinner for two for our anniversary. Five star food and service. Captain Sean's sailing excursion completed a great stay!

My husband and I initially loved this resort. It was our first experience of Antigua about 10 years ago and returned to Galley Bay on further occasions. Unfortunately the sea is very rough and although a beautiful beach it is almost impossible to enter the sea. On one occasion we were both swept off our feet even though we were only thigh high in the water, there is also some concrete/ironwork debris in the water which is not very pleasant. Only one swimming pool which is quite small, looks wonderful but is in complete shade by around 5pm and they switch the waterfall feature off around this time aswell. Such a shame, we love the staff and the setting. Accommodation is excellent. Food also excellent. We would love to return if there were one or two more swimming pools, especially since they developed more beachfront accommodation. We still visit Antigua but would love to return to Galley Bay instead. Sorry Galley Bay, we do still treasure our first experience of Antigua down to your fab staff etc.

I don't know where to start, it is such a beautiful resort with genuine staff. We were treated with such sincere kindness and made our 1 week stay unforgettable. Natasha at the main bar had our drinks ready for us each night when we came to enjoy the entertainment, Amanda at Ismay's was so willing to please, and Mr. Matthews at Gaugin was such a gentleman. He even made our reservation for the next night for us, I called guest services & was informed that a reservation had already been booked. Please spend the money to go to the Ismay's restaurant, the fine dine & atmosphere is exceptional. Shiloh at the water sports wants to share his passion with you, and he has such a gentle spirit. Our room #6 was centrally located and gave us easy access to everything. We were even invited to the private Angostura Antigua Rum Release. We purchased the 1st bottle of 1787 and brought it to Canada. A great place and we will return...

Stunning location and amazing staff. We stayed in the Gauguin suite and had one night in the deluxe beach front. I have to say I prefer the Gauguin suite. It's not as open and the features aren't as high grade but the dip pool and privacy make it better. We often chose to chill in our own little back deck with the jets blasting in the pool with a movie on the laptop on some tunes playing. The staff were very attentive and friendly. One little phone call and they would be at your door to help with anything you needed. We always felt welcome and looked after. We are both heavily tattooed and often receive judgement on holiday but the people here were so loving and accepting. My shout outs have to go to Lisa, Amanda, kerianne, Troya and javid. You guys were so lovely. The food was amazing. I read some bad reviews about the food before we came...what are you people eating??? It's fresh, delicious and there is so much choice and it's served super fast. We ate in ismays 3 times. It was so good. We rarely ate desert because we were always so full. We went sailing with Captain Sean and had a wonderful time. He took us around the island and gave some facts and info about the area. We went snorkelling at the reef and had some drinks and food. Would definitely suggest it. We will definitely return for an anniversary. Many of the people there are repeat visitors and you can tel why.

We went to Galley Bay for one week in late June. The food, drinks, beach, pool, and excursions exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend Captain Sean's snorkeling excursion. The rooms were clean, and beach front view was spectacular. It was quiet and relaxing, but there was live entertainment every evening after dinner. We will be back!!
