My friend and I came to Miraval having heard great things. It was my birthday and I was upgraded to a lovely suite. The extra space is always nice. What I loved: - device free zones (this was a game changer in my relaxation) - the smoothie bar - all the meals with option to order from the menu or buffet (portions are small so you can order multiple items -- no one will judge you) - the fluffiest comforter in the world - swing & prayer, cardio drumming, stretching activities - we had one server during dinner who was the kindest person ever What was ok: - the free classes were interesting, but they also felt like sales pitches for the paid classes - instructor pacing was a bit off - classrooms felt like...classrooms, not the vibe i was going for - we took one paid class and used our resort credit -- glad we tried it and found it useful, but probably not worth the money - before we arrived, the sheer amount of options was overwhelming -- wish there was a way to better narrow it down What was not great: - our shower didn't drain properly - our couch had some stains and overall, the room looks a bit run down - wish resort credit could also apply to gift shop - online activity booking would crash or is very slow Things for next time - book spa treatment (this was my bad, i hesitated and wished i could experience reiki) - book crystal activity or aerial swing

My first solo vacation to Miraval exceeded my expectations. My focus was on introspection and quiet time. I am an active person, and I did the 2 hour 6 am walk two of my 3 mornings. Had I known I would enjoy it so much, I would have done it my first morning as well. The tour guides were friendly and knowledgeable. Our guide, Emmalyn, made our hike extra special by singing a soothing song for us as we experienced the sunrise at the top of a hill. I was concerned the pace would be too slow but with multiple guides along the way, everyone could experience the hike at their pace. The spa services were extraordinary. I had a hot stone massage that was 75 minutes. The pressure and temp were perfect. It was the best hot stone massage I’ve had. The food was a 10 out of 10—every meal was enjoyable and as a vegetarian, I had good tasting, healthy options available at each meal. As a solo traveler, I felt safe moving around the resort and in my room. I will absolutely visit again—same time next year!

Just wrapped an annual Mother’s Day trip at Miraval and truly enjoyed my stay. Pros Spa and services were all amazing Food and drink offerings were delicious (breakfast and lunch) Grounds were well kept Experiences and instructors were all amazing and truly allowed me time to unplug and reset! Cons Some of the rooms are due for a refresh Portions at dinner were extremely small and often not hot Limited experience options that did not cost an additional fee While it appeared to be unique to me- responsiveness to requests via concierge and the front desk never happened as planned. Nothing was ever completed as requested. For instance I requested a delivery to 2 rooms upon arrival 3 weeks ahead. Got there and the request was forgotten. Once they finally did it they didn’t include the note or glasses! Never received travel confirmation, requested s’mores one night - never got them. It not like the place was at capacity so the lack of follow through was disappointing.

I left Miraval with an amazing sense of restful rejuvenation. It is a wonderful opportunity to unplug and connect with yourself. I highly recommend. The grounds were beautifully manicured. The rooms were modern and spacious. It’s a wonderful opportunity to get away unplugged and not stress about making decisions throughout the day.

I believe it's the best and healthiest food you'll ever eat! The staff treats you like family. You can be as busy as you want or really relax in luxury. I came home healthier and more relaxed! What a beautiful setting at the base of the Catalina Mountain range.

Miraval is just wonderful!! It is truly a relaxing getaway that offers so much for everyone. You can push yourself to the limit with the ropes/challenge experience; yoga, pilates and other tough exercise classes; the equine experience; or just enjoy the spa with the most wonderful treatments. Loved every minute of it. The setting is serene, the staff couldn't be more helpful, and the spa treatments are truly beyond!!! Can't wait to go back!
