My daughter and I took this trip together to spend quality time together. From the Quantum Leap to our spa experience it completely met my expectations. We both looked forward to the delicious and healthy food that was offered and we were never disappointed.

Wonderful resort, high-end staff and accommodations. Peaceful, yet full of many classes and activities to help bring perspective back into your life. Loved so many things about this place and spent 6 nights solo! Incredible experience, from the rooms, outdoor hikes, amazing food, friendly staff and eye-opening classes. This is the perfect place to unwind, connect with self and restore balance.

This being my first spa resort experience, I was delighted with high quality of spa body work, quality of food, beauty of the surroundings, helpfulness of staff and fun of the physical challenge courses. Book your spa services as soon as you can.

My wife and I just returned from Miraval, and it was incredible as always. My wife’s ninth visit and my sixth, and it just gets better. Activities, classes, lectures, treatments, etc - a blessing to everyone to experience. Shari the Resort Manager is warm and extremely thoughtful. Pam Lancaster is the most incredible person I’ve ever met!! I go to her group classes as well as one-on-one treatments with her Tibetan bowls and her special insights into life and people. Don’t miss it. Aqua Zen with Amy is wonderful as is Vishara with Jessie - both one-on-one water treatments in a warm pool. Don’t forget to look for Alecia with her million dollar smile - a server at breakfast. DONT MISS THIS PLACE !!!!!!

My daughter and I recently returned from our second visit at Miraval. Our last visit was in 2013. Recent upgrades/renovations are beautiful. Spa and resort just as beautiful as we remember. Guides, spa therapists, food service and servers top notch. Our room had been renovated and was very quiet and comfortable; we had a view of the mountains from our patio. Our previous visit was seamless and we expected the same again. Unfortunately we had an issue with a spa appointment. We had booked all of our spa appointments and outdoor activities well in advance of our arrival. My daughter had a unique appointment made in the spa that had been cancelled due to a scheduling issue. When she showed up for the appointment the young man at the spa desk said they had left a message on our phone telling us it had been cancelled. We did not get the message as there was no red light on our room phone blinking to tell us so. The spa did say they would comp a new appointment however they could not replicate the same appointment she had made. She was clearly upset. It took quite some time to work out her new appointments. She had to do two separate appointments that were similar but not the same as the original appointment. This appointment change also meant a trip to the dining room reservation desk to change our dinner reservation. The dining room reservations were full. In the end, the dining room was able to fit us in, she was able to get her two spa appointments however when we received our final bill the spa did not comp either one of the new appointments. That meant a trip to the front desk to get the credit, the front desk gave us the credit however when they called the spa, the spa did not know which appointment to credit. Secondly, Miraval is now part of Hyatt. Which means there are people there on Hyatt points. We are not using Hyatt points for our visit. During our 2013 visit we felt everyone was visiting the spa for the same reasons as ourselves. Wanting renewal, relaxation, quiet reflection, growth and wellness. There were 3 couples at the main pool daily that were drinking heavily, they had loud inappropriate conversations and crude language, one was smoking an e-cigarette. It was very disappointing to hear and see this. We were not the only visitors that were aware of this group. I am not trying to generalize about those who use Hyatt points however if everyone is there paying full price I feel they are there for the same reasons that we are. Now it has become a place to use your Hyatt points. I am not sure that I will return to this beautiful resort spa. It was a very special place for both myself and my daughter. It is very expensive and so I am going to research other resorts to see if I can find a similar experience without the "Las Vegas" pool people in attendance. Lastly, I had mailed a letter similar to the above to the GM at Miraval 12 days ago and have yet to receive a response via mail, email, or cell phone.
