Miraval Arizona

This place was even more special than I expected - and I had pretty high hopes to start! From Tim picking me up at Amtrak to Marty giving me a tour of the resort on a golf cart (he was definitely the star of my visit - soooo friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about the place). It is one of the most scenic places I've been. Everyone was friendly abd helpful. There is a terrific selection of activities to do. The food, both at cafe and dining room, we're great. I did the cardio drumming and it certainly was a bit of cardio workout and I loved it. I did a creative art type class - my least favorite, wasn't a class as it was here is paper and supplies and do whatever. Essential oils class abd making a roller to take home was neat. Not sure I'd choose it again for the cost. And the art walk was also very neat. Nice to hear about all the different art/techniques on display and the tour guide (i thuml Kathy) was great, knowledgeable, engaging and encouraging touching art and asking questions. She's a keeper! Just sitting around relaxing and listening to water features was relaxing. I also had a massage and it was nice. Could have spent more time in spa had i had more time. Outside pool was a bit cool for me, but loved inside hot tub.

Such a great place to stay, relax, enjoy the spa and surrounding area. I highly recommend this for anyone needing to take a break, relax, gain life perspective, and take deep breaths without your phone!

Overall, im not sure I’ve ever experienced anything like Miraval. The backdrop was stunning and the service was on the level of a luxury hotel, yet both of those may have been bested by the class offerings and mission of Miraval, Tucson. It’s like nothing I’ve ever seen or done. I can’t explain it. You have to experience it for yourself. I haven’t stopped thinking about it and its mission since we left.

Miraval embodies relaxation and wellness; no matter if you desire personal growth, connectedness, passion, or just peace, Miraval provides it all! Running water abounds with cascading falls throughout the property to enhance the Zen like experience. On top of all of this, the menu changes daily for an culinary experience like no other. I look forward to a return visit in the near future.

Truly an amazing and unforgettable experience with my best friend on a girls weekend. The service is off the charts good and so is the food and overall ambience. The selection of activities, too, made for a truly amazing weekend.
