This was my 9th stay at Miraval . It is a sanctuary ( no cell phone policy in common area ) an oasis in the desert ( lap pool and relaxation pool delicious low calorie food and a myriad of activities , lectures and private sessions to awaken your mind and spirit . One caveat , there have been some changes made by the new owner ( Hyatt ) that we , after being here numerous times concerned us . We voiced our observations to management and await their reply .

This was my 8th trip to Miraval (since 2003) and once again, the experience exceeded my expectations. Food and spa are top notch. The yoga studio view and instructors outstanding. The beds are like sleeping on a fluffy cloud. Yes, it's expensive. Very expensive. My trip averaged $1,000 a day. But for a luxury getaway, it's worth it.

Excellent atmosphere to relax w loved ones while also finding time for introspection and reflection. I think you can find similar quality spa services elsewhere, but some of the exercise classes and the spa itself were top notch. It's unfortunate that it takes so long and so many steps to get to the resort, but it is beautiful once you arrive. Don't miss the morning hike but bring hiking boots and long sleeves and long pants (not capris!) and a hat! The bed is very soft, like a huge pillow, so if you like a firm bed, this is not the place for you! The food was interesting and ranged from tasty to delicious. You could tell quality ingredients were used in the food, though I was disappointed the drinks like lemonade and pineapple juice tasted as if they came from a store bought jug rather than fresh squeezed. The smoothie bar is worth a visit at least once a day! Very creative and delicious concoctions!

I cannot express enough how much I enjoyed my stay. the room, activities and foot all surpassed my expectations. most especially, I did not realize how much of a personal, introspective experience I would have. miraval really seem to care about each guest's well being. I will be back again.

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend at Miraval. We came back super relaxed and recharged. Our Catalina Suite was beautiful and every treatment we had art the spa was exceptional. Don't miss the Floating Meditation class...a must to experience.
