Wonderful getaway with a friend. Even though it was summer and very hot, the activities were indoors and very enjoyable. Staff was accommodating. The cuisine was absolutely first rate. Loved the juice bar.

It was a very hot day, but our guides were able to accommodate us on an off property hike to higher elevations.. very knowledgeable about AZ history and the area. The spa services were amazing, over the exercise classes, especially cardio drumming and floating meditation. Wish we would have experienced more of the challenges, but there is so much to do! Will definitely be going back!

The location is of course in the desert. My husband and I went in late June so it was VERY HOT! I would go a different time of year if I were to come back. The room was nice. The service was very good! My favorite people were Vanessa our bartender, Kaitlyn our server and Jess, my message therapist. I think the dining area needs to be updated but the food was very good overall. We do a lot of yoga at home and one of the reasons we came to Miraval was for the yoga but I have to say, I was disappointed in the yoga classes. Would I go back? Maybe.

Ive stayed here twice. The first time was about two years ago, and the last time was in May. Although the service and food are great, I dont think they have enough offerings when they are at full capacity. If you are going to book X number of people at the resort, you should make sure you have enough activities, spa appointments and other added experiences to accommodate their requests. Yes there is a pool to lay by, and the overall experience can be relaxing, but some people come here for the unique experiences and activities - and they should be available. Im not able to plan 6 months in advance, but I still want to have a great experience if I spend half a day traveling to a spa destination and a lot of money. Again, the service is top notch, people are helpful, etc. I do think they need to increase their added service availability for the times they are at or close to full capacity.
