After an incredible 11-night stay, it’s genuinely hard to say goodbye to Miraval. From the moment you arrive, there’s an immediate sense of calm and care. The staff are among the best anywhere - always smiling, happy to be there, attentive, and genuinely committed to making every moment of your stay feel effortless and special. Lots of little touches, for example, I arrived very late in the evening after the restaurant was closed, but they had prepared a dinner box for me and had waiting on checkin. There’s a unique energy across the property. Everything feels deeply thought out - from landscaping to the way activities, dining, and wellness experiences flow throughout your day. It’s all designed to support rest, renewal, and connection. At Miraval you unplug. Putting the phone away is the Miraval way - lets you be fully present in your surroundings, in the moment and it changes your relationship with your phone! The food is exceptional - healthy without ever feeling restrictive. Each meal is beautifully prepared, with a focus on health. The on-site cafe is more like a full wellness bar, serving up delicious smoothies, protein snacks, and nourishing treats throughout the day. The activity list is exhaustive - in the best way. Whether you’re looking for deep relaxation, physical challenge, or personal growth, there’s something here for you. The gym is expansive, featuring three Peloton bikes, a Peloton row, a cold plunge pool, sauna, spa, and a packed schedule of fitness classes. The spa offerings are equally impressive. After a 11 night stay, I can honestly say everything was flawless. Not a single issue. Miraval delivered and more - it’s a place that nourishes you on every level. Highly, highly recommended

I had a lot higher expectations for Miraval, and honestly left feeling 50/50 about my experience. I started off with yoga and transcendence with Joey which I couldn't speak more highly about. He's the type of guy you want at a wellness retreat, 5 stars all around. Then I went into my positive visualisation meditation and the instructor literally opened up saying this was a guided meditation which she will read from a script. If you could not make it more robotic than that.. it was painful to listen to, [monotone] "and now you are walking in the forest and see luscious greenery around you". On top of it, a gentleman starts snoring 10 minutes in and the instructor does nothing to wake him up, and I literally had to get up after 20 minutes and excuse myself from the session. I then went into a cardio kickboxing class which literally was a blast from the 80s. But I'd have to say the poorest experience was the spa. I got the sungodess facial and literally walked away with products cacked all over my face. There was no luxury component to this at all, she sprayed my face with a spray bottle of cold water rather than using a cold towel. As other reviews, food is mediocre and the place is a bit older. The other thing is when you check in they give you a backpack and water bottle which was nice! However, inside the backpack was a letter that you are supposed to write to yourself about what you are healing through or enjoying during your experience and they will send you in 3 months. However, no one at check in mentioned this and it wasn't until my 80s cardio kickboxing instructor asked me if I did this. I had no idea about this and it would have been such a loss to miss out on. This place is nice in some components, but definitely has lost its 5 star ranking in a lot of regards. I'm glad I stayed at the Ritz at Dove Mountain instead and only did a day experience. I truly feel like I would have regretted staying there based on other reviews and now going in person and actually seeing the amenities first hand. Not for the bougie.

Wow! We were genuinely surprised. Our experience at Miraval was unique and positive. The service was fantastic. The experiences were excellent. The food was wonderful, super fresh and healthy. And, we left with a real appreciation for the resort. If you are looking for something unique, Miraval is a very good option.

We stayed in the Desert Sky suite. The bed is incredibly comfortable (the comforter was too warm for Arizona in June, but it is very fluffy and soft). The furniture in the living area was kind of uncomfortable (very tall, stiff-backed chairs and couches), but we weren't in the room much anyways. The experiences were almost all better than we thought they would be. We were really impressed with all the instructors, from both wellness, fitness and spiritual type of classes. The spa is in renovation so they have a temporary set up that is quite nice. There isn't as much "spa" part like saunas and places to hang out in your robe, but the treatment rooms are nice. The food was way better than we thought, based on other reviews. We did lean more towards vegetarian options. The one beef dish I had, I did not enjoy, and ended up ordering a half portion of the red curry tofu dish with black rice, which was amazing, and I still think about it! We can't wait to come back and bring some more friends with us.

Not quite what I expected especially for the price point but I did enjoy the experiences offered. Steve was the best! Loved the smoothie shop.

Miraval is just wonderful!! It is truly a relaxing getaway that offers so much for everyone. You can push yourself to the limit with the ropes/challenge experience; yoga, pilates and other tough exercise classes; the equine experience; or just enjoy the spa with the most wonderful treatments. Loved every minute of it. The setting is serene, the staff couldn't be more helpful, and the spa treatments are truly beyond!!! Can't wait to go back!
