Once you get to Miraval, you don't have to think other than making it to a spa treatment, class or to eat. Other than that, they do all the thinking for you. First class from the room, staff, classes, food, everything. You will not regret going!!!

From the warm welcome the second you arrive to the resort, to the friendly staff that gets to know you on a first name basis, to the relaxing and luxurious spa experience, to the adventurous zip lining activity, to wearing our robes to dinner. This was the ultimate girls trip destination! I would highly recommend to anyone!

Miraval Resort is a peaceful, healthy, fun, fit destination to vacation. This is our 2nd year and the spa and fitness classes exceeded our expectations. The instructors are knowledgable, positive encouraging people. The classes are fun and innovative. The resort and rooms are clean and quiet with a no public cell phone rule encouraging mindfulness without technology. There are 2 pools to lie out/swim laps get a drink or light lunch. The bar has an indoor/outdoor area. Drinks are yummy and they offer an organic vodka. For lunch, they provide a buffet or a special. My only area of "needs improvement" is in the healthy eating and client preference. Miraval is proactive in gluten and dairy free choices, but despite calling ahead and letting them know my husband and I are ketogenic and then being reassured they were familiar with Keto the staff actually had absolutely no clue. It was not noted in our profile. They did not offer unsweetened almond milk at their smoothie bar or a "keto" type smoothie nor did they offer a "keto" snack at the cafe. They were all high carb, high sugar. A low glycemic veggie cup would have been great (cucumber, celery & hummus). Having low glycemic sautéed veggies in Kerrigold or any grassfed butter on the lunch buffet along with a protein without added carbs seems like an easy solution. Certainly not the end of the world and we will be back, but it would have nice to have felt heard rather than placated prior to our stay especially when the cost per night is not inexpensive.

Second time here. This time Post Hyatt acquisition. We really enjoy it here. The spa, class offerings, atmosphere and teachers are all top notch. I thoroughly enjoyed the long off property hike to Romero pools. The fitness classes are great and so are the meditation classes. We definitely will be back and highly recommend Miraval to all of our friends. The one thing that changed since last year is the separation of the kitchens between the bar and main dining. We previously ordered from the restaurant menu in the bar, but now they make you box the food and bring it over. Also, it seems like the wait staff has turned-over as some of the servers were less attentive than in the past. Not all, many were very good. This was not that bad, just perhaps could be better given the price. The only real problem we had was that the dinner menu rarely had options that were paleo or ketogenic diet friendly and tended to be on the high carb side. Keto is ultra-low carb. We had to work around this, which resulted in two nights of grass fed burgers wrapped in lettuce. They were Good, but only offered in bar and would have been nice to have something from the main menu and some variety. They did give us a special order in the restaurant, but it was a bit disappointing with a tiny, probably 2 ounce, portion of salmon and they mixed up grassfed butter with plain unsalted. If Miraval reads these, it would be good if your nutritionist would become educated on ketogenic diets and incorporate more of that as options into the menu (I think you will see more and more customers wanting this). Easy shifts too, just more healthy fats, and cut way back on the carbs and entirely on the sugar. Again, we really do love it at Miraval and overall this is a five star place that we plan to return to annually. Just hoping they step it up a bit with the ketogenic/paleo options.
