Great location, but I would look elsewhere.
Dated hotel in a great area. Our best days were off site in a cenote or at Xel-Ha. "Tour of the facility" is a high pressure vacation club pitch. Everything felt like an upsell when on property. We are done with Hyatt properties. Concierge was excited to hear about the special occasion we were celebrating, but didn't do anything (although he told me he would.) We waited about an hour most nights for a table at the restaurants for dinner, but the dining rooms were far from full. Location was great. Front line staff was great. But, we were not impressed by the quality of food/restaurants or the concierge services.

Horacio is great!!
Horacio is awesome. He keeps the gym in perfect shape and is super friendly and happy with all of the guests!

Jungle Paradise
A great hotel retreat in the heart of Quintana Roo, set in the jungle with Iguana's, Raccoon's, koate's and Agouti's as regular visitors. The rings are spacious and comfortable with well stocked mini bars. The entertainment team of Erick, Ronny, Ricky, Jared and Ruby were great and helped make our stay really fun. The evening shows always had high quality and entertaining. The restaurants were good, we had great fun at the Teppanyaki table (although it is an extra cost). The location is good being near enough to Tulum to pop into by Collectivo at a cost of 30 Peso's each. The beach is cleaned daily of the seaweed but it builds up very quickly and is a constant battle for the staff which they try to manage. It got a bit smelly on one or two.occasions but nothing too bad. It's a long way from England but we'd stay again if given the chance.

Amazing place
We had a great time at Dreams. The resort and staff are fantastic. Horacio in the gym stood out for me. A lovely guy who kept the gym spotless and gave great recommendations for trips out.

Great Kids Club
Brilliant kids club with lovely staff. Our daughter Maria went every day to the point that we had to try and persuade her to spend more time with us!
