Lots of things good...French restaurant and friendly staff but again summer camp yelling going on. Foam parties etc. We travel with an autistic adult and its not appreciated. Would be lovely without the loud noise and yelling into microphones..... Great room service 24 hours. Biggest disappointment was being able to access the ocean ....very uneven and an ankle risk. No one was in the water at preferred end of beach. Sargassum is a problem on this coast but they work on it. Very few people used the ocean water at all.

Staff is wonderful. No complaints there. The resort is in disrepair. We stayed in one of the (if not the) nicest rooms right on the ocean yet had mold in our curtains and the shower leaked into the toilet area (dangerous); the sheets were stained and the AC wouldn't get below 20 degrees. The restaurant selection was nice, but all food was sub par. We liked the ambience of the Seaside grille most, yet as you look up at the ceiling while you're eating, you see water stains and mold. Most restaurants have beef and pork options, yet they don't taste like beef or pork, which really threw me off. We've been to this area of the country many times and will make a point to not stay at this resort again.

Well maintained resort in a ‘Spanish colonial’ low rise style. Very responsive to issues raised. Staff all very attentive. Maybe not quite enough food variety for two weeks, esp at lunch which could do with one more simple option. Some nice entertainment. Restaurants all decent barring the Mexican which falls below par. Resort is a fair distance from anything else, far outside town with nothing walkable nearby. However, unlike many other Tulum hotels this one is on the beach. I recommend the cafe for nice coffee and surprisingly good desserts and cakes in a calm environment.
