Beautiful place! Ronny was fantastic!

The seaweed on the beach was very bad and smelly 😕 unable to go into the ocean. A large part of the resort is in renovation and only one restaurant and the buffet is open in the evening for the whole resort, the good part because of the renovation the resort was not at a full capacity.

Not Worth It – Major Disappointment We stayed at Dreams Tulum expecting a 4-star all-inclusive experience, but it was far from it. We paid around $1,500 per person and arrived to find the resort under renovations—something never disclosed ahead of time. Most restaurants and bars were closed, leaving us with basically one restaurant, a repetitive buffet, and low-quality food like burgers, hot dogs, and frozen pizza. Entertainment and nightlife were minimal and underwhelming. The beach was also disappointing due to heavy seaweed and a strong odor, making it hard to enjoy the ocean at all. We ended up spending extra money off-property just to have decent meals and activities, which completely defeats the purpose of an all-inclusive stay. Overall, this was not what we were promised or paid for. I would strongly recommend confirming resort conditions before booking.

Paid for preferred, didn't not get the extra amenities that come with that, Restaurants were closed and limited to maybe 2 a night or 1. Couldn't swim in the ocean due to the over whelming seaweed and it smelled like rotten eggs. The pictures they show you look nothing like what it was. Had a Jr suite in Preferred level and it was super noisy. The place is under construction and when you book they don't tell you that.

Visited for Christmas and New year. We've chosen Dreams Tulum based on visits to other Dreams resorts in Mexico and Dominican Republic. Tulum was a disappointment with a high price tag. Check-in was quick though and informative. We stayed in adults section. Rooms dated and misty, sink clogged. It took two days and a few visits to sorted out. However beds comfortable and adequate storage. Beach was unusable in front of the quiet pool, too rocky. Beach loungers occupied with towels only at 7.30 in the morning with no one to be seen till 11 am. Restaurants are reservations free. However Mexican was almost impossible to get in. Very rude hostess. No Spanish no service, ignorant, no smile. As it was during the festive time there were no senior management around. Service was chaotic and inconsistent. Things started changing to better after 5th of January but our holiday came to the end. The only people I would like admire are Guadalupe at the beach and pool and Epitacio at the lobby bar. Thank you guys, you made our holiday. We've been to Mexico many times, to different locations and love it. But we won't visit Dreams Tulum again.
