DO NOT GO HERE
We arrived last Sunday which was supposed to be for a 5 day family vacation. We were never told the resort is under renovation and half of it would be closed. Usually we arrive and get escorted to a UVC lounge for check in. Not here...in fact I dont think there is a preferred lounge open. There was one restaurant open the night we got there since all the others are under construction. The sargassum was really bad and the smell was throughout the resort. Both pools were dirty and one guest aside of us cut his foot on glass in the pool. That is the moment we got out. Got back to our rooms and there are no shower doors, one shower head which wasn't fastened correctly and low water pressure. The next morning we went to breakfast in a crowded himitsu restaurant since the World Cafe was closed. There were maybe 10 items available. I asked for a mimosa and they said no...not until 10 am. I went up the desk and told them we would like to move resorts. They said they cant help me and the only way i can is to book one myself. We called UVC and booked Dreams Natura which was beautiful.

The resort is beautiful, but there was a lot of construction going on while we were there so not all restaurants were open and some locations were very loud with construction noise.Room service is not great, but the restaurant food is delicious.

Brilliant choice
Amazing kids Club ! The staff is very kind and thoughtfull. They have a very interesting program, different activities everyday, with arts and crafts, plays and Water time. The hotel itself is very pleasant and relaxing, with multiple restaurants to choose from and different enviroments to scatter the guests. We Will definetely come back. LOVED THE HELL OUT OF IT

Very disappointed in the Tulum resort.
The resort is going through a remodel and should have made us aware before arrival. They only had 2 of the 7 restaurants open. We are very picky eating family and this would have made us pick a different Hyatt location. The workers were amazing just not able to use the resort because of remodel. We tried to change location and were told we would have to pay no matter what.
