The hotel was absolutely beautiful and the entire staff super helpful. We had an unforgettable private dinner at the Cava (cella) in Dreams Tulum. The entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. Edgar, who served us throughout the evening, provided outstanding customer service—attentive, friendly, and truly committed to making our night special. We were also warmly assisted by Omar, Fernando, and Baltazar, who helped create a seamless and welcoming atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Combined with the fantastic ambiance, it made for a perfect dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable evening at Dreams Tulum!

Stayed for 10 days, nov 10-20th, group of six. got there in the rain and rained next day too, evenings were cool/cold, definetely long sleeve for first three days, then usual heat for mexico! The worse thing about this resort is the beach access! too rocky and dangerous even with water shoes because of the hidden sharp rocks and dead reef. there was a cleared area to safely walk in. you can walk 100ft to deep water. Place is old and dated but spotless and clean and well kept overall. staff were very nice, we had no complaints. they'll try to sell you time share (they call it something else but essentially time share) and if you listen to them for a few hours they'll give resort money coupons. since we had rainy day we listened and got a free massage and snorkeling excursion (very worth while if you like snorkeling). there was at least one wedding every day! that could be good or bad-- some guests were loud and obnoxious having a good time with their music and yelling and screaming over each other not caring that some of us wanted peace and quiet at the quiet side of the beach and pool (one pool had music and fun the other pool and side was the quiet one)! not every day was like that but some days were not relaxing. at night some of these groups took over the bar which meant no seating near by, waiting long to get a drink, yelling and screaming having a good time (great for the group but not for others)! we rated the food very good but not as many choices as some other 5 star resorts. we visited the Asian, Italian twice but the french and mexican was disappointing (wider choices at buffet). there was live entertainment every night by the bar (one bar), live band or singer. the sit down theater had some shows, but not every night. they had only one small kat sail that you booked and took you out for 30 min at a time, up to four people (expect to tip). I enjoyed that the most because he took me out at the reef and I snorkeled while he waited. there is dead and some live reef with varied fish. if you're a snorkeler it may be a good place to visit, I saw stingrays and largest barracuda I've ever seen checking me out, and I've seen many over the years. Conclusion: we're retirees, overall I would go back because the food was good, the place was clean and I could snorkel everyday (weather permitting). my other guests wont go back because the food was not as varied, too many weddings (too many young uncaring partying people in your face all day and especially at night), can't really enjoy the beach unless you go to the cleared spot.

We had a good experience during our stay. There are two things I was not satisfied: the quality of the alcohol/drinks served at the bars and the AC temperature in our room. Most staff was helpful and friendly. The food in the specialty restaurants we ate in was delicious.

Overall a great experience. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. The landscaping is beautiful, nice mature trees, hedges and greenery everywhere. The beach is nice but water shoes are essential due to the large amount of rocks and coral if you want to ocean swim. The restaurants were less than expected overall. The Japanese and French restaurants were great and were our favourites, the Italian was not particularly good, and unfortunately we ran out of days to go to the Mexican one. We had brought lots of bug spray as others had suggested to do, but we never had to use it! Don’t fret about carrying daily essentials, there is a pharmacy beside the Coco Cafe that was fully stocked with sunscreen, bug spray, diarrhea/headache/shave cream and razors/toothpaste and toothbrushes….We will post pics soon on Facebook page/ 613 Travel.

It was fine. I wouldn’t go back. I expected a better experience for the cost. I have experienced better food and drink at other resorts of comparable cost.
