Overall, I had a great time at dreams tulum! Entertainment - Ronny, Erick and Gonzalo were all amazing so nice warm and friendly, making me love the daily aqua aerobics Gym- The gym was kept clean and maintained throughout my 11 day stay, and I thoroughly enjoyed the availability to watch the lionesses all the way from Mexico!! Food - in the world buffet there was a complete lack of spoons, often resulted in me going up to the waiters and asking . Something so simple should be on offer, which was annoying and inconvenient to ask for daily. Also at breakfast I experienced very long waits for staff to take my drink order, I always had to go up and ask. Pancakes, hashbrowns and waffles all delicious Miguel at sea side grill was amazing Food and drink at the coco bar and coco smoothies were delicious! Photographers, I understand they are just doing their job but being asked 5-6 times a day do you want your photo taken? Is just very inconvenient and off putting and ended up being very annoying as a result. Maybe this a cultural issue but not everyone wants their photo taken, and I just think they failed to understand that!! Communication, there was a complete lack of communication with the maintenance team and guests where one of the days the resort had no water for 5 hours, this let us not be able to wash our hands, flush the toilet, shower etc If this truly was “planned maintenance” surely we should have been let known before hand? The gardens and resort was very well maintained and stunning as a result, however it was incredibly slippy at times. MOSQUITOS everywhere, please bring bug spray if you’re planning on visiting my whole family got bitten alive!} Finally, I loved the silent disco which happened twice a week!! My standout experiences were the food at portofino, seaside grill and the friendliness of Ronny and gonzalo

We had a lovely stay here. The staff are fantastic, very welcoming, happy and attentive. The resort is very well appointed, perhaps in need of a little tlc in places but generally very good. We originally booked a room with 2 double beds as we were travelling with our 14y old son, but they were very small and not really suitable for having 2 people sharing a bed unless you are used to small bed. We asked to move to a room with a kingsize bed the next day and were offered an upgrade to a Preferred club room for a very decent extra cost which we accepted. These rooms felt nicer than the Family suite we originally booked plus give you access to additional perks such as the private beach and a lounge area. We felt the upgrade was well worth it and improved our overall experience. The restaurants here are fantastic and the food was generally very very good. Particularly recommend the Sushi, Italian, Teppanyaki & seafood restaurants but the buffet was also very good. Very good selection of drink available throughout the resort. The beach was lovely, seaweed was raked daily and wasn't too bad. Bring water shoes as the entry to the sea is rocky. Visibility of the water close to the shore was not good - very cloudy where the sand was churned up by the waves. The ground are very lush and well designed and maintained - lots of wildlife to see!

The swim out pool area was great. Minimal noise, provided a relaxing experience. The room service was nice for convenience. Food at the restaurants were okay, some restaurants were not open on certain days. There were too many mosquitos regardless of using bug spray. The water went out in the entire resort for a couple of hours which was unfortunate because people cannot flush the toilet, wash hands, or shower. The cleanliness was amazing they were always attentive to our towel and turn down needs.
