There were 11 of us and we stayed in the Preferred Swim Out rooms. We loved the swim out rooms and spent a lot of time there. Luis was wonderful at bringing us drinks as we swam and played games in the pool. The restaurant food was excellent, but the service was a little slow so give yourself plenty of time at the non-buffets. The regular service was excellent. My biggest complaint was that we paid for preferred service, but don't feel we got that type of service. I do like the layout as there were no tall skyscraper type of hotel rooms blocking the sun. Go to the Sky Lounge at night. It is advertised as open all night with food, but there was never anyone there. We basically had it by ourselves.

An all inclusive resort with Spa on the Costa Maya. This provided the perfect spring board for a fantastic vacation. The resort caters for a very broad clientele: couples, families, singles - young and old. All the staff were friendly, smiling and accommodating. Facilities were all superb: swimming pools, gym, tennis court, jogging track, live entertainment, restaurants and Spa. The food and drink of excellent calibre, good variety with easy access. My wife relaxed on the beach and my son partied late into the night - can't fault it😎

Just about to fly home from 10 days at the Dreams Tulum. What a lovely holiday we all had. The staff are fantastic especially Daniel and his team at the preferred beach bar. They are so attentive and helpful with snug smile on their faces and it really added to the holiday experience. The hotel was great with s good selection of dining experiences. The beach was nice but a little disappointing in terms of all the rocks. Unfortunately the water sports is hindered by the rocks as you are not allowed to sail the one and only hobie which is not as advertised. All in all thought a great holiday with lots of highs! The Spa is beautiful too, though a little pricey.

The hotel is beautiful, staff friendly and very helpful. Cocktails are great and food in all restaurants excellent. We loved the beach and had great snorkelling in warm shallow water. Dive shop on site was really helpful - especially Pierre who took a scuba trial session for the whole family (aged 15-52) - a lesson in the pool and a 5m dive in a nearby cenote (sink hole). He then took one of my sons out for further training and a sea dive for his 12m qualification. We were able to book this once we got there - an extra cost on top of all-inclusive price. Thereafter we borrowed snorkelling kit at no extra cost. We also had a great day at Xel-Ha and a good trip out to Tulum ruins which are nearby. These arranged independently (with hotel taxis) - extra costs but worth it. Only criticism is the quite boomy noise from microphoned staff running aerobic sessions on the beach. Otherwise all lovely.

Grounds of the resorts were some of the most beautiful ever. Beach was awesome. The dress code in both the Italian & French restaurants of long pants only for men was unnecessary .My son had very nice linen shorts & dress shirt & was denied access while other walked in wearing very casual jeans & very casual shirt looking like something the cat dragged in...not cool; I was also on vacation with my son & was constantly bothered by 'Alex' about having romantic dinner on beach without my son.i did not care for that at all
