Turtle Island

This is hands down the best private beach resort of all. Very personal experience. Service is top notch. The food was top notch from a real trained chef. You can make it a private holiday on your own private beaches, or hang out with the other 8 couples that come. Drinks and coffee was great. I would highly recommend everyone to come.

Just wow!!! This place was absolutely amazing. They really know how to slow your pace down and appreciate being on vacation and being able to truly relax and ground yourself back to what is really important. It was really uplifting to be around all of the staff and to not only enjoy the beautiful island but to experience the culture and embrace meeting new people. Experiencing this place is now going to be super hard to go anywhere else! We for sure will be back.

5/5 Stars – An Absolutely Magical Paradise in Fiji From the very beginning, with our pickup at the airport (Peter and Viviana were amazing!), to my wife being carried off the seaplane, to being greeted by the staff singing a beautiful welcome song, we knew we were going to love Turtle Island. The genuine warmth and hospitality started immediately and never let up. The beauty of the island is simply breathtaking — crystal-clear turquoise waters, pristine white-sand beaches, lush tropical greenery, and those iconic Blue Lagoon views make it feel like you’ve stepped into a dream. The bures are just beautiful accommodations — luxurious, spacious, and perfectly positioned right on the beachfront. The food and drinks were outstanding. From the amazing lobster omelets delivered to our bed in the morning, to the personal lunches prepared for our private beach excursions, right through to the fantastic octopus dinner served on a floating platform under the candlelit moon — every meal felt special. The drinks are great and always available, and our refrigerator was filled daily with fresh juice and cold beer. What truly makes Turtle Island unforgettable though, is its people. Bill, Mary, and Mama Adi, along with the entire staff, are beyond kind and helpful. Their constant warm greetings (BULA!) made us smile and feel special every time we crossed their paths. Our Bure Mama, Adi, was simply wonderful — she took care of our every need even before we knew what we wanted or needed. One of the big surprises was the friendships we made with the other guests. There were four couples who all really enjoyed catching up during cocktail hour and shared events. We formed a great bond, and I’m sure we will all see each other again. We have been blessed in our lives to travel to many places, and we have never felt so cared for or so connected to the people as we did on Turtle Island. If you want to be fully immersed in a culture, this is the place. Turtle Island isn’t just a luxury resort — it’s an experience that touches your soul. The combination of stunning natural beauty, incredible staff, wonderful new friendships, and deep cultural immersion made this trip unforgettable. We can’t wait to return next year! Vinaka vaka levu! We went with my wife and 12 other couples, and this was truly such a fun and unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived by seaplane and they carried my wife in like a princess, it felt incredibly special. The cava ceremonies with the locals were one of the highlights, and the food was amazing throughout. The hikes, the private beaches, and the beauty of the island made this place stand apart, but what made it most special was the people. Their warmth and hospitality made the whole experience unforgettable.

From the first greeting on the mainland and the first welcome song as we arrived by seaplane, we knew we were somewhere special. Go there if you want to feel part of a Fijian village, be immersed in Fijian culture, music and beauty. Do as much or as little as you want but don’t miss the daily private beach picnics, cocktails at sunset and the food which is either grown upon on the island or caught daily in the blue lagoon.
