Turtle Island

The perfect destination for our honeymoon! Words can't describe our trip. It was beyond anything we could've asked for. From the moment we got off the Ferry, to when we left, we were met with the most wonderful people. We stayed in the Grand villas and it was amazing. I like to sleep cold, and luckily they had a little AC unit above the bed that was able to keep me comfortable. The staff was amazing! Bill, Bai and Erami were fantastic and always entertaining! Our Bure momma, Momma Taru was just the best ever. She was always there to coordinate our activities and provide us with anything we needed throughout our trip. She was wonderful! We hope to attend again for one of our anniversaries!

Both of our trips to stay on Turtle Island was beyond our imaginations. The staff welcomed us home when we arrived and had our choice of beverage in hand. The atmosphere on the island is wonderful. Everyone on the staff knew who we were by face and name before we arrived! It felt like we were part of the Turtle Island family during our entire stay. We had picnics on private beaches, ate under the stars at dinner and enjoyed the Fijian meke dinner. It was and will be our most loved vacation together. Thank you, Mere, Bill, Mama Tokasa and the entire team for your kindness, love and friendship. We truly love you and appreciate our time spent with you all. You are never far from our thoughts. We cannot wait to spend more time with everyone when we return home again.

This was our second trip to Turtle Island and we had another great experience. It is truly a unique experience! We love the food, the snorkeling, the private beaches, and the people are so friendly! It is so peaceful there. They truly make you feel like part of the family. We will back..again!

Turtle Island is amazing! From the moment you are picked up from the airport to when they drop you off to go home you are taken care of. Mama Taru took such great care of us and even surprised my husband with a special dinner for birthday/retirement. The entire staff knows who you are and greets you by name on day one! They are always there with a smile and a hug. The food! It is so delicious. I loved that they asked what portion size you wanted for lunch and dinner. I’m sure all the drinks are amazing but I got stuck on the Bula Breeze!!! The communal meals are great. We met such great and fun couples. The village tour is a must! I had to be talked into the cave tour by other guests and I am so happy I went! All the beaches are amazing! The massages….we had 3. So good! Getting to learn about the culture and getting to know the staff and hear about their families was one of my most favorite things. We will definitely be back. Bula Bula! Helpful info… 1-They have US plugs in Burre. 2-We barely wore shoes. Flip flops are all you need. Maybe a water sandal for the village tour. 3-They have a Bluetooth speaker for you to take to the beach. 4-They have mosquito repellent in the room for you. I felt like it did a good job. Some of the other guests brought deet repellent as well.
