Turtle Island

Once discovered never forgotten. We discovered our corner of Paradise in Turtle Island in 2016 and just completed our 8th visit. Other than during business trips, there is no place we have ever returned to more than three times because we never found one that could sustain or exceed that initial experience. The reason being is that they exceed our expectations each time. The Turtle Island family are our favorite people, so that makes this our favorite place…our little corner of Paradise…counting down until our next trip in 2027. The staff were incredible! Mama Elle was a great Bure Mama! Phillip took us to beautiful snorkeling areas, and guided us safely around the reefs pointing out many of the beautiful fish and coral. The food and drinks were amazing, and the private beaches were stunning.

Amazing experience. You are made to feel like part of the family as soon as you arrive. Every detail is perfect! Our mama was amazing (Laveti) and my son’s Bula buddy, Siva. Every meal was delicious. You are Immersed in the Fiji culture while experiencing luxury!

Turtle Island once again proved that it is the ultimate vacation island. The island itself is beautiful, but the friendliness and service of the staff members - everyone from the maintenance team to the bure mamas - is what makes Turtle Island a perfect, extraordinary experience. There are so many amazing activities to enjoy, and you are amazingly taken care of from the time you set foot on the island (or are carried off from the seaplane!) to the sad time when you have to leave. I would say a once-in-a-lifetime vacation, but once you have visited Turtle Island you will start making plans to return in the future for another phenomenal vacation!

Bula Bula! Turtle Island was the most amazing trip my wife and I have ever been on. This trip was in celebration of our 40th wedding anniversary and I can’t imagine a more special place to celebrate that milestone. We were treated like family with hugs and everyone knew our name from the first day we arrived. It was a spiritual experience for me from the village children and staff choir singing hymns, experiencing the Fijian culture to the lifelong friendships made with the staff and guests alike. Can’t wait to see our Turtle Island family again. Vinaka! Sota tale!
