My husband and I had a fantastic stay at the Oberoi. We enjoyed sitting in the lounge chairs and watch the waves come crashing in. The food was great and the staff superb. We had a very late flight on our last day and the staff did everything they could to make sure we had a place to clean up and change before our departure, we really appreciated that. I'm ready to go back!!

The food was great and the service could not be faulted. The views were stunning and being on the beach was a plus. Would definitely go back the next time I am in Bali, or stay at another Oberoi hotel elsewhere in the world.

The Oberoi in my view is among the best hotels in Bali. The design of the hotel is simply beautiful, and the Villas are well appointed - quite different to the standard modern hotels you would find in many other parts of Bali. The service is the very best I have experienced in many years in Asia. It is simply at the highest level from arrival to departure, staff remember you by name (despite the resort being fully booked of Easter) as well as e.g. your breakfast preferences. I would also like to explicitly call out the fantastic services of the German chef Enrico. The way he has his team organised to deliver truly first-class cuisine (be it Indonesian - the best Beef Rendang I have had in a long time - Indian or International cuisine) is outstanding. My father celebrated his 75th birthday while at the Oberoi. Enrico created a magnificent 6 or 7 course surprise dinner with paired wines - a perfect way to celebrate this special day. Only downside was the level of trash and dirt on the beach (which the hotel alone can do little about as all beaches in ID are publicly owned), a leisurely stroll along the beach turns to an obstacle race. High time that the relevant authorities wake up and take decisive action as this is turning into a major ecological issue and over time will certainly deter Tourists.

My husband and I spent great holidays at the Oberoi. Great place and very quiet whereas it is located close to the center of Seminyak. Big swimming pool, nice rooms. The restaurant is excellent, service is amazing. We will go back there for surešŸ˜‰

We love visiting the Oberoi. The food and services are excellent and our children love the fact they can wander around the beautiful gardens, feed fish, watch squirrels jumping around in the trees, see the turtle egg hatching area and enjoying the small private beach (most of the local beaches are dirty and there can be broken bottled as a hazard for tiny feet) would definitely recommend staying or simply enjoying breakfast - or the traditional show they have several nights each week. It is on the upper end for cost but it is worth it.
