The Hard Rock Hotel in Bali is Asia's first Hard Rock Hotel, located smack in the heart of Bali's busiest district – Kuta. Ryoshi is one of the longest-established restaurant in Seminyak, and it's success has spawned other branch of the same Ryoshi restaurant. Currently, there are four Ryoshi restaurants on the island, serving authentic Japanese food and sake at very reasonable prices. The main branch is a two-storey rustic building located at Jl Raya Seminyak, and you would do well to call ahead for reservations. Golden Lotus Chinese Restaurant is the signature restaurant at Bali Dynasty Resort and has won several awards as the best Chinese Restaurant in Bali. The decor is a typical Chinese dining room characterized by high ceilings, well spaced round tables and black wooden finishing. The menu features Szechuan and Cantonese cuisine, with authentic specialties such as the Golden Lotus Peking Duck, as well as other favorites – Shanghai Sesame Chicken, Fried Pork Ribs and Pan Fried Prawn Szechuan Style. Made's Warung is one of the most popular local restaurant in Bali. The main branch is located at Kuta, and has grown from a traditional roadside warung into a cosmopolitan restaurant. Even right now they are undergoing renovation and expansion into the space next to it. The decoration of the restaurant is very ethnic and traditional, with Balinese carving and ornaments adorning the walls. The open air setting only adds to the laid-back ambiance, and it is a great place for a boisterous social gathering. The original menu is Indonesian, but recent addition has seen it expand into Western and even Japanese.
