Alila Villas Uluwatu in Bali, Indonesia
With a flawless design and a spectacular setting, Alila Villas Uluwatu marries Balinese culture with modern design. Perched atop a magnificent plateau abutting limestone cliffs, the ocean below bellows with the sound of crashing waves and creates a melodic echo with every crest. There are 84 sustainably-designed villas concealing interiors that are contemporary and uncluttered, with overtones of traditional Balinese textures including rattan and stone. The multi-room villas, each with its own pool, radiate with luxury and boast such appointments as private bars, outdoor dining nooks, private cabanas, and stylish baths with both indoor and outdoor showers. There is also 24-hour butler service, which adds an effortless element to your stay.
The setting, along Bali's southern coast on the Bukit Peninsula, seems like a natural locale for this eco-friendly resort. The infinity-edge pool seems to blend with the horizon, while geometric structures jut towards the ocean creating a suspended effect. The Warung, the resort's signature restaurant, serves a menu of traditional Indonesian specialties in a casual poolside setting, while CIRE has a modern backdrop and a bold design. Sunset Cabana, the clifftop bar, offers gourmet dining and amazing views. But it is the enchanting spa that earns the most acclaim from guests. Its design, so soothing yet so cutting-edge, is striking. The experience takes you on a personal journey stimulating and balancing both body and mind. For some added inspiration, take a drive to nearby Jimbaran Bay and pay a visit to the Uluwatu Temple - just one of many Bali's many sacred spots. Surrender yourself to beauty and serenity in the luxury of flawless perfection at Alila Villas Uluwatu.

Reviews for Alila Villas Uluwatu
1. My wife and I would come back here at any time. We stayed here for about a week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. 2. The staff is very friendly (in a sincere way) and helpful. My wife needed help due to a minor injury, and the staff took great care of her. 3. The three restaurants offer a good mix of international and local cuisine. 4. The property provides many services we enjoyed such as spa and massage services, Yoga classes, day trips, as well as a small but well-equipped gym. 5. The omnipresent general manager Marco Groten was always available for and to us as well as the other guests. He is on top of things and does a good job running the property.

Check in was a breeze with welcome drink and towel. Our butler brought us to our room using buggy and gave us a quick tour in our room. There's a tablet in the room which can be used to order food, etc. This resort is almost 10 years old if im not wrong so there were a few wear and tear, and things not functioning well in our first room e.g. the sliding doors, the locks, etc. We quickly called up the receptionist and they managed to get us another room by 7pm. Our one bedroom villa was huge and had partial ocean view. Amenities were good. The room also has a smart TV so we can netflix at night using my handphone. The villa is surrounded by a jungle so expect a lot of insects. We put on insect repellent at all times by still got a few mosquito bites. Main pool has the best ocean view. The architecture design is no doubt an award winning one. Dining at Warung and Cire were quite average, had our breakfast and dinner for 4 days here. Nothing really wow us except the Satan chilli because we like spicy. Staff at Cire was kind enough to bring over the chilli from Warung for our breakfast. Spa - Pretty average too. Activities at the villa - very limited, just spent time relaxing in our room and the pool or visit the temple nearby All staffs were friendly and helpful Overall we love this place but not sure if we will stay again next time if we go to Bali with our kids. Quite limited or no activities for children. Maybe they can just swim all day.

This is the second time we stayed in this hotel. The hotel has great design and wonderful cliff view. The attendant takes good care of all our needs. They also provide baby sitting service and we may come with our baby next time.
Exceptional customer service and hotel itself is just superb. As you walk into the lobby you are transported to a luxurious oasis. Our one bedroom villa was perched on the hill with stunning views of the water. Dinner at the Warung is also a must! Couldn't recommend this place more if i tried!
